Coastal Lifting Solutions Ltd., located at 305 ? 225 Mowat Street, New Westminster, BC V3M 4B1, is looking for 2 reliable, experienced Tower Crane Operators to join our team. The wage range offered is $45.00 to $55.00 per hour depending on experience, working an average of 40 hours per week plus over time as needed. These are full-time, year-round positions. Benefits are available after completing a 3-month probationary period. Our ideal candidates will have 2 to 3 years experience as a tower crane operator. Duties and Responsibilities: * Operate tower cranes to lift, move, position or place equipment and materials * Perform pre-operational inspection, and calculate crane capacities and weight to prepare for rigging and hoisting * Conduct equipment inspections * Perform routine maintenance work such as cleaning and lubricating cranes * Coordinate with Rigger and interpret hand signals, as well as communicate using a 2-way radio * Determine safe lifting capacities, think & react quickly under pressure ?while following safety guidelines and protocols * Mentorship for apprentices and others within the team Requirements and Qualifications * High school diploma or GED certificate * Hold a Valid Red Seal or full scope Tower crane ticket registered in BC * Have a minimum of 2 to 3 years experience operating tower cranes both luffing and hammerhead/flat-top. * Have a good knowledge of construction materials * Have experience rigging and slinging * Be in good health and physically fit * Completion of WHMIS 2015 and/or CSTS 09 * Have a valid Fall Protection certificate * Have a valid drivers licence and reliable vehicle * Valid references To apply, please submit your resume together with reference letter By Email: coastalliftingjobs@gmail.com Pay: $45.00-$55.00 per hour Benefits: * Dental care * Disability insurance * Extended health care * Life insurance * RRSP match * Vision care Ability to commute/relocate: * New Westminster, BC V3M 4B1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred) Licence/Certification: * Red Seal or full scope Tower crane ticket registered in BC (required) Work Location: In person
