transport refrigeration technician

Key Responsibilities: * Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on refrigeration units for trailers and trucks. * Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures. * Complete work orders accurately and on time. * Conduct on-site service calls and provide emergency repairs as needed. * Candidates must be available to participate in a rotating on-call schedule for emergency and after-hours service requests. * Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Qualifications: * Technical training in refrigeration or HVAC preferred. * Proven experience in the maintenance and repair of reefer units or refrigeration systems. * Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Good communication and customer service skills. * Must have a valid driver?s license and be able to travel to various job sites as required.
