Dr. Vetamin Specialty & Emergency Veterinary Hospital is seeking a motivated and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team. We are a modern, independently-owned 24/7 specialty and emergency hospital dedicated to providing advanced, patient-centered care in a collaborative and supportive environment. What You'll Do * Assist veterinarians with emergency, critical care, and specialty cases. * Monitor hospitalized and ICU patients. * Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, laboratory testing, and patient nursing. * Administer medications and treatments as directed. * Assist with anesthesia, surgery, and diagnostic imaging. * Communicate professionally with clients and work collaboratively with the veterinary team. * Maintain accurate medical records and uphold the highest standards of patient care. Qualifications * Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) in Ontario, or eligible for registration, is preferred. * Strong organizational and communication skills. * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. * A positive attitude and commitment to exceptional patient care. * Previous emergency or specialty experience is an asset but not required.
