We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated RVT to join our team of skilled professionals at Middle Sackville Veterinary Care Centre, a well-established, privately owned and respected veterinary clinic. You will have the opportunity to work alongside a compassionate team and play a vital role in providing the highest standard of care to our patients. Key Responsibilities: * Assist with exams and diagnostic procedures * Administer medications, injections, and treatments as prescribed * Perform lab tests, including blood work and urinalysis * Monitor anesthesia and assist in surgical procedures * Provide client education and ensure clear communication regarding treatment plans * Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records * Help with inventory management and ordering of supplies * Foster a compassionate environment for both patients and clients Qualifications: * Must be a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) in Nova Scotia * Experience is preferred but a strong work ethic and willingness to learn will be considered. * Strong knowledge of veterinary medical procedures, pharmacology, and anesthesia * Excellent communication skills with both clients and team members * Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * A compassionate, out going, team-oriented attitude Benefits: * Competitive salary based on experience * Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 5 weeks paid time off, and RRSP contribution (no match required) * Continuing education opportunities * Discounted veterinary care for your pets * A supportive, fun, team-oriented workplace culture Pay: $22.00-$27.00 per hour Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care * Life insurance * On-site parking * Paid time off * RRSP match * Vision care Work Location: In person
