We are seeking an analytically rigorous, remote-first VP of Investments to direct our strategic corporate growth roadmap, command our ecosystem capital allocation frameworks, and drive asset-network portfolio expansion. Key Responsibilities Macro Investment Strategy: Define and execute Slingshot's multi-year investment thesis, ensuring capital deployment aligns perfectly with macro FinTech SaaS and data infrastructure benchmarks. Corporate Development (CorpDev): Oversee the end-to-end investment lifecycle, including advanced programmatic financial modeling, platform asset valuation, complex term-sheet negotiations, and legal deal-closing mechanics. Quantitative Due Diligence: Direct rigorous technical due diligence streams across data-engineering stacks, systemic risk profiles, and operational metrics of target tech enterprises or strategic partners. C-Suite & Board Collaboration: Partner with internal Product, Engineering, and Legal divisions to prioritize ecosystem growth opportunities, track portfolio health, and present data-informed insights to executive leadership. Global Governance Alignment: Coordinate with international corporate counsels to ensure all venture placements, ecosystem capital transfers, and network treasury investments comply with standard corporate accounting principles (GAAP) and international regulatory baselines. What We Are Looking For Pedigree: 10+ years of high-impact leadership within Technology Venture Capital (VC), Tech Corporate Development (CorpDev), High-Frequency Trading Systems, or Enterprise FinTech SaaS, with 3+ years serving at the VP, Senior Director, or Principal investor level. Infrastructure Literacy: Proven operational familiarity with distributed database architectures, low-latency API networks, liquidity routing protocols, and advanced automated financial systems. Financial Engineering Mastery: Elite capacity to construct dynamic predictive valuation models, asset risk metrics, and structural balance-sheet analysis within high-growth technology markets. Boardroom Execution: Outstanding track record of leading complex commercial transactions, managing multi-stakeholder relationships, and translating abstract technology parameters into polished corporate strategies. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Corporate Finance, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline. An advanced degree (MBA) or credentials (CFA) are highly preferred.
