About Our Opportunity The Leasing and Facilities Planning Group provides quality services and support to government departments and agencies. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records through the Archibus Inventory Control Program and supporting warehouse operations associated with surplus government assets. Key responsibilities include conducting physical asset inspections, receiving and handling surplus materials, managing storage and inventory control processes, facilitating asset reuse and recycling efforts, and coordinating the disposal of surplus assets in compliance with the Surplus Disposal Act. Disposal methods include auctions, public tenders, transfers to schools and non-profit organizations, recycling programs, and scrap waste disposal. Primary Accountabilities The primary accountabilities of this role are to maintain an efficient, well-organized, and cost-effective parts and supplies inventory operation that supports the needs of internal clients. Responsibilities include: Creating and issuing purchase orders to suppliers using established procurement and inventory management systems.
