Web Application Developer

About the Role T3 Trading Group is seeking a seasoned Node.js / Next.js developer to work directly with our Chief Technology Officer in building and maintaining the firm's next generation of internal and client-facing web applications. This individual's capabilities will be utilized across the broader T3 family of companies , meaning you may contribute to projects supporting multiple business lines—including trading operations, education platforms, and client service applications. The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer who thrives on ownership—someone who enjoys taking ideas from concept to production, values clean and secure code, and takes pride in delivering performant, reliable systems that make a real impact. You should be excited by modern frameworks like React and Angular , AI-driven development tools , and the opportunity to continuously learn and push technical boundaries. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain full-stack web applications using Node.js, Next.js, React, and Angular. Develop and optimize APIs, authentication flows, and integrations with internal and third-party systems. Collaborate with the CTO on architecture, modernization, and technical strategy . Implement DevOps best practices including CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and infrastructure automation. Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve application performance, reliability, and scalability. Experiment with and adopt AI-driven tools and frameworks that enhance development speed and quality. Contribute to code reviews, testing, and documentation to maintain high engineering standards. A genuine interest in trading, markets, or financial technology is a strong plus, as your work will directly support professional traders and real-time market operations. Experience 5+ years of experience in modern web application development using Node.js and TypeScript . Strong proficiency with Next.js , React , and REST/GraphQL APIs. Solid understanding of authentication and access control frameworks. Familiarity with containerized deployments (Docker) and CI/CD. Experience managing Linux-based production environments and cloud infrastructure. Ability to work independently, own projects end-to-end, and collaborate effectively on architecture decisions. Strong problem-solving skills, clear communication, and a bias toward shipping quality solutions.
