The platform you will be using is WordPress – so you need to have hands-on experience with this. This Will Include The Following But Not Limited To Converting PSD to running WP templates/themes Integrating plugins on WP themes Creating unique WP themes Troubleshooting bugs from jscripts, plugins and co browser issues Building WordPress plugin(s) Skills Required Required Skills: Expert WordPress developer with experience in building custom functionality and applications to extend WordPress core capabilities. Front-end and back-end development experience. Solid experience in web site development using HTML 4 & 5, JavaScript, CSS3, Flash/ActionScript, and building mobile ready Responsive sites. Solid experience with all of the following: PHP, XML, Java Server Pages and Java. Designing cross-browser compatible sites (Firefox, Chrome, Internet Explorer, Safari, etc). Experience with code optimization and performance tuning. Passion for quality and attention to detail. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Comfortable working under tight deadlines, and adaptable to requirement changes. Experience in creating mock-ups using graphics creation tools like Adobe Creative Suite and converting those mock-ups using best practices standards based on HTML4/5, CSS3 and Javascript frameworks (like jQuery) is a plus.
