Mike Vail Trucking is currently seeking a full-time Welder to join our team. The successful candidate will work in our shop maintaining, repairing, and servicing gravel trucks, trailers, and related equipment. Preferred Experience: Candidates with a background in fleet maintenance will be given preference. Qualifications & Skills: * Red Seal Journeyman Welder certification is considered an asset * Proficiency welding both steel and aluminum * Experience with Stick and MIG welding processes * Ability to perform fabrication work on gravel boxes and trailers * Basic understanding of hydraulics is an asset * Ability to carry out minor mechanical repairs as required Responsibilities Include: * Performing welding, fabrication, and repair work on trucks and trailers * Assisting with general shop maintenance and related duties * Completing required paperwork accurately and on time * Performing other duties as assigned Job Type: Full-time Pay: $40.00-$48.00 per hour Benefits: * Dental care * Disability insurance * Extended health care * Life insurance * On-site parking Experience: * Welding: 3 years (required) Work Location: In person
