Roma Fence Ltd. is currently looking for a part-time MIG welder to assist in our residential and commercial department. The ideal candidate will be versatile and a team player who welds and fabricates metals for fence and gate manufacturing. This position would be for Thursdays and Fridays. Job duties and responsibilities: · Perform custom MIG welding · Prepare jigs for welding, · Interpret welding process specifications Qualifications: · 2-5 years of welding experience · Gates/Fences experience an asset · Diploma or certificate in welding · Must be able to weld galvanized materials · Must be able to read work drawings · Forklift certification an asset · Quality work is an absolute must · Good mechanical aptitude · Must be able to work independently with a minimum supervision · Ability to operate previously set-up welding machines, drive forklifts, and use industrial saws Pay: $23.00-$26.00 per hour Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care * Life insurance * On-site parking * Vision care Experience: * MIG welding: 3 years (required) Work Location: In person
