Job Summary: TankSafe is seeking a skilled Welder with leadership qualities. TankSafe manufactures Oilfield storage tanks , and various CWB welded structural projects. Our work week is Monday to Friday 8 hr shifts, leaving you lots of summertime weekends.to do your own thing Responsibilities: - Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications - Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments - Fabricate and assemble metal structures and equipment through the use of welders, cutters, shapers, and measuring tools - Inspect and test welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws - Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety Qualifications: - Proficient in using hand tools and power tools - Ability to operate a forklift and rigging equipment - Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and repair - Competency in blueprint reading and understanding technical drawings - Basic math skills for measurements and calculations - Experience with machining processes is a plus Joining our team as a Welder offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in a dynamic environment.
