Start of employment contract: November 21,2026 Welder Compensation and Benefits * $ 37.00 / hour * * Personal days and vacation days available * Benefits include 80% Medical and Dental coverage Welder Requirements * Good Aptitude and working habits * High Mechanical Aptitude * Previous utilization of hands tools * Any Mechanical Maintenance * Ability to work full time and overtime as needed * Ability to work in a fast paced environment * Experience with blueprints * Completion of secondary school and vocational training in welding * 7+ years of professional welding experience, with a minimum of 3 years specializing in truck repair Duties * Interpret welding process specifications * Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment * Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes * Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications * Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment * Operate brakes, shears and other metal shaping, straightening and bending machines * Fit, braze and torch-straighten metal * Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products * Operate previously set-up brazing or soldering machines to bond metal or to fill holes, * indentations and seams of metal * Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment * Clean and maintain equipment Work conditions and physical capabilities * Fast-paced environment * Repetitive tasks * Handling heavy loads * Physically demanding * Manual dexterity * Attention to detail * Hand-eye co-ordination * Sitting and/or Standing for extended periods * Ability to lift and handle materials weighing up to 45 kg (100 lbs) * Required Tools & PPE: Candidates must supply their own tools, steel-toed safety boots, and safety glasses/goggles _This is a strictly in-person role with no remote work possibilities*_ Contact Information Lee Harding * 905 564 4944 * lee@universaltrucksales.com Job Type: Full-time Pay: $37.00 per hour Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care Education: * Secondary School (required) Experience: * Welding: 7 years (required) Language: * English (required) Work Location: In person
