About The Role We are seeking a highly experienced and talented WordPress Developer to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing modern, scalable, and accessible websites using the WordPress Content Management System (CMS). Qualifications More than 10 years of professional experience in WordPress development. Proficiency in creating custom WordPress themes and plugins tailored to specific project requirements. Strong programming skills in PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3. Experience working with REST APIs for integrations and data exchange. Proven track record of content migration and CMS implementation projects. Ability to develop interactive website features, including forms, event management tools, and microsites. Knowledge of SEO best practices to optimize website visibility and performance. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting. Responsibilities Design and develop custom WordPress themes and page templates that align with project requirements and branding guidelines. Implement advanced search functionalities, contact forms, event registration modules, and microsite features to enhance user experience. Create interactive maps, animations, and other engaging features to increase user engagement and retention. Perform content migration, including media files, documents, and website data, ensuring accuracy and integrity. Support and maintain existing WordPress websites, troubleshoot issues, and apply updates and security patches. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate third-party tools and APIs for enhanced website capabilities. Participate in testing, quality assurance, and deployment activities to ensure seamless project delivery.
