IELTS Instructor (Part-Time) ? Learning Point Location: Sherwood Park and Millwoods, AB Job Type: Part-Time / Flexible Hours Compensation: Competitive hourly rate (based on qualifications and experience) Learning Point is a growing tutoring and academic support centre in Sherwood Park & Edmonton, dedicated to helping students achieve their educational goals. We are expanding our programs and are looking for a passionate and experienced IELTS Instructor to help students prepare for the IELTS Academic and General Training exams. Responsibilities * Teach IELTS preparation classes for Academic and General Training modules. * Prepare students for Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking sections. * Assess students' English proficiency and develop personalized learning plans. * Provide constructive feedback and monitor student progress. * Conduct mock IELTS tests and review performance. * Create an engaging and supportive learning environment. Qualifications * Excellent command of spoken and written English. * Previous experience teaching IELTS, ESL, or English language courses is preferred. * Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field is an asset. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to motivate students from diverse cultural backgrounds. * Able to manage groups. Schedule * Flexible part-time hours. * Evening and weekend availability preferred. * Opportunity to teach one or multiple days per week based on your availability.
