Cloud Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner! The Role Collaborate in the design and implementation of AWS system architectures, ensuring operational status and security of government systems. Review system requirements, providing input based on cybersecurity posture. Provide architectural analysis of cloud configurations and connections. Support the Engineering Review Board, evaluating artifacts for architectural compliance. Resolve architecture implementation issues during integration and test. Advise and assist teams to deploy and configure collection services and tools with high uptime. What You'll Need TS/SCI Security Clearance with ability to obtain Poly CI. DoD 8570 Certification Compliance (IAT Level 2/3). BS degree and 5+ years experience consulting, designing, and implementing distributed solutions with 3+ years experience in cloud-based solutions (or 4 years additional experience in lieu of degree). Experience across AWS/Cloud technologies, including EC2, PaaS (OpenShift), Lambdas, S3 buckets, Reserved Instances. Familiarity with system engineering documentation creation (VDDs, diagrams, etc.) and team collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence, RocketChat). Understanding of code baseline management and utilization of tools like Jenkins, Python, Gitlab, CloudFormation, Zabbix, HPFortify, ACAS, PostgreSQL, Scrum, Kanban, Terraform.
