Analyze the impacts, benefits and costs of transportation initiatives. Conduct research. Develop programs related to scientific fields. Document investigations and conclusions/recommendations. Evaluate the efficacy of air pollution control devices. Monitor budgets allocated to environmental programs. Monitor environmental non-compliance and required corrective actions. Report information to supervisor. Study and evaluate chemical or biological hazards and stresses in the workplace. Study and evaluate physical and ergonomics hazards and stresses in the workplace and suggest changes to work processes.
