Java Software Engineer

Hi, We have an immediate opening for a Java Full Stack Developer with a leading IT Service Consulting company in Dallas, TX, New York, NY & Tampa, FL Fulltime (Long term) Dallas, TX, New York, NY & Tampa, FL Java Full Stack Developer Job purpose To design, develop, test, deploy, and support scalable enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Angular, while ensuring high-quality, secure, and maintainable software solutions. The role involves full-stack development across backend, frontend, databases, cloud, and DevOps ecosystems, collaborating with global teams throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Job Description: Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited institution. At least 3–5 years of IT experience in application development. Hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, and front-end technologies. Preferred Qualifications: Hands-on experience in Java 11+ / 14, REST APIs, Spring Boot, Microservices development. Core Java Development: OOPS concepts (Encapsulation, Inheritance, Polymorphism) Collections framework and usage scenarios Exception handling and logging Multithreading Problem-solving using arrays, strings, and collections Sprint Boot & Rest API development Building REST APIs using Spring Boot Controller → Service → Repository flow Request/response handling, validation, exception handling API security basics (Spring Security awareness) Microservices Development: Microservices architecture basics Inter-service communication (REST, messaging basics) API gateway, service discovery (conceptual) Event-driven systems (Kafka/MQ awareness) Experience with event-driven architecture (Kafka / MQ). Strong experience in Angular (v11+) and front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript). Vulnerability / Application Security Java Script/Typescript State Management Routings Auth Guards Lifecycle Hooks SonarQube API Methods Hands-on experience with database technologies (Oracle / SQL Server / MongoDB) SQL queries (joins, filtering, aggregation) Schema understanding Working with JSON/XML payloads Experience in JUnit, Mockito, and unit testing frameworks(Jasmine, Karma ). Exposure to design patterns, MVC architecture. Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, UrbanCode, Tekton, Harness). Experience with containerization & orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift). Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS or GCP). Good understanding of DevOps practices and SDLC processes. Experience in development and production support environments. Ability to work in a global delivery model and collaborate with multiple stakeholders. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
