Role Summary We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to design, implement, secure, and support enterprise network infrastructure across hybrid cloud and on-premises environments. This role is responsible for maintaining resilient, high-performing, and secure network services spanning traditional data centers and modern cloud platforms. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in enterprise networking, infrastructure security, firewall administration, switching, segmentation, and secure connectivity, with strong hands-on experience across Windows-based on-premises environments, data center infrastructure, and cloud networking in AWS, Microsoft Azure, and similar platforms. This individual will play a key role in network modernization, operational stability, security hardening, and end-to-end infrastructure visibility. A forward-thinking professional, they bring a deep understanding of modern cybersecurity paradigms and compliance frameworks, including hands-on experience designing and executing Zero Trust architectures across distributed networks. They are highly adept at aligning network controls with stringent security standards, including SOC 2 Type II, NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF), and the Risk Management Framework (RMF). By translating complex regulatory requirements into technical implementations such as micro-segmentation, continuous authentication, and advanced logging, they ensure infrastructure is both high-performing and fully auditable. Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure across hybrid and cloud environments Administer routing, switching, segmentation, VLANs, and secure connectivity Configure and manage firewalls (Check Point, Fortinet, Palo Alto) Domain Controller Configuration Cloud Virtual Network and Firewall Configuration Implement secure connectivity solutions including Azure ExpressRoute Deploy and optimize cloud networking solutions in Azure and AWS Monitor performance using Auvik, Grafana, and Cisco/Meraki dashboards Troubleshoot complex network issues and outages Support modernization and transformation initiatives Maintain documentation and standards Adhere to Change Enablement practices including change requests, approvals, and communication Participate in incident response and support activities Collaborate with Systems Administrators (Windows and Linux) and cross-functional teams Documentation via creation of Runbooks Submission of SOPs for Approval by Technology Leadership Required Skills & Capabilities Advanced enterprise networking expertise (routing, switching, segmentation) Firewall administration (Check Point, Fortinet, Palo Alto) Strong infrastructure security and Zero Trust knowledge Hybrid cloud experience (on-prem + cloud) Azure and AWS networking expertise Experience in Agile environments (Kanban and weekly iterations) Understanding of Change Enablement / Change Management processes Ability to support incident-driven environments and collaborate across teams Infrastructure Modernization & Data Center Expertise On premises to cloud migration experience Hybrid infrastructure design experience SAN configuration (switches and storage devices) Data center modernization initiatives High availability and performance optimization Preferred Skills & Capabilities Multi-site enterprise environment experience Automation or infrastructure-as-code exposure Compliance-based architecture experience Disaster recovery and high availability design Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience 7+ years network engineering experience Enterprise and cloud networking expertise Infrastructure modernization and SAN exposure Two professional references required Required Certifications Azure Network Engineer Associate (AZ-700) Cisco CCNA Palo Alto (PCNSA/PCNSE), Fortinet (FCP), or Check Point (CCSA/CCSSE) Preferred Certifications Cisco CCNP Enterprise Performance Expectations Quantitative Maintain uptime and availability SLAs Reduce incidents through proactive monitoring Deliver projects on time Improve network performance metrics Qualitative Demonstrate strong technical judgment and decision-making Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation Adhere to Change Enablement practices including approval workflows and communications Support incident response, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis Collaborate with Windows and Linux Systems Administrators and infrastructure teams Operate effectively in Agile environments using Kanban and iterative delivery Contribute to continuous improvement and operational excellence Why You Will Love Working Here Collaborative, supportive, and mission-driven environment Opportunities to work with experienced professionals Exposure to high-impact projects Strong focus on professional growth and development About Us Concorde is a technology-driven, compliance-focused organization committed to delivering secure, reliable, and high-quality services while fostering collaboration, innovation, and professional growth.
