Opportunity: This is an opportunity to be part of a talented, close-knit, and growing engineering team in an exciting technology startup. We have an opening for a Backend Software Engineer to join our Agile software development team who will be involved in all aspects of the product development lifecycle. The Software Engineer will have the following responsibilities: Code, test, and maintain end-to-end applications that run clients, in enterprise network environments, and on blockchain networks Participate in the full Agile software development process including brainstorming user stories, planning sprints, doing peer reviews, and of course lots of hands-on-keyboard coding Develop test cases, both unit and integration tests (we’re big on automation and continuous integration) Use well-established orchestration and provisioning frameworks like Kubernetes and Docker Deploy and manage complex networks across cloud platforms. We’ve worked hard to stay cloud agnostic! Be ready for troubleshooting anywhere, whether it’s inside a client application or on one of 20 Docker containers running on a cloud instance Be committed to high-quality software development principles while still meeting programmatic milestones Requirements Minimum Qualifications and Requirements College or university degree in Computer Science/ Engineering, or a related discipline 2-5 yrs. experience in the field Excited to work in a start-up environment and to experience all the excitement that goes with it Solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and common programming languages, such as Go, C++, and Java. We’re pretty much a Go shop. Experience developing back-end, particularly networking and authentication-focused applications Deep knowledge of encryption and authentication standards such as SSL, OAuth2, JWT, mutualTLS Willingness to learn and embrace new technologies (e.g., Hyperledger Fabric) Effective verbal and written communication skills Positive attitude, willingness to be a team player, and respect for our diverse and creative work environment U.S. Citizenship required. Ability to support a hybrid, in-office/remote work model at either Corsha’s Vienna, VA or Atlanta, GA locations.
