Android Developer — Mobile Engineering Team We're looking for an Android Developer who is passionate about building high-quality mobile experiences and wants to be part of a collaborative, fast-moving team. THIS ROLE WILL BE ONSITE MON-FRI IN FORT LAUDERDALE. Only local candidates will be considered* What You'll Be Doing Building, improving, and maintaining Android applications and their core components Turning product and design requirements into clean, reliable, and well-structured code Shipping new features while continuously improving the performance, security, and stability of existing functionality Tracking down and resolving bugs and technical issues across the codebase Engaging in code reviews and helping raise the bar on engineering standards across the team Keeping a pulse on the latest developments in the Android ecosystem and bringing fresh ideas to the table What We're Looking For A degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering At least 2 years of hands-on Android development experience Strong command of Kotlin or Java Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and how mobile apps communicate with backend services Hands-on experience with the Android SDK and Android Studio Comfort working with Git or similar version control tools A good eye for UI design principles and building layouts that work across screen sizes
