Job Location: High River, ABJob Type: Full TimeShifts Available: 1st (Monday to Friday 6:00 AM to 2:45 PM)Compensation: $32.95/hr ($44.30/hr. if ticketed)Benefits InformationBenefits are based in our Collective Bargaining AgreementPaid VacationExtended Health & DentalVision CarePension PlanShort-term Disability and Life InsuranceEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Tuition Reimbursement Principal AccountabilitiesReview, organize, and prioritize all approved maintenance work to ensure effective planning executionConduct field walkdowns to confirm job scope, validate site conditions, and identify hazards and risksDetermine equipment shutdown requirements and assess the need for engineering changes; initiate the Management of Change (MOC) process when requiredPlan and estimate work orders but not limited to: Procedures and detailed work instructions, Craft and labor requirements, Time estimates and defined milestones, Drawings and technical documentation, Material identification and quantity estimates, special tools and external services, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements, required permits and Validation criteria and completion requirementsCollaborate with Supply Chain to source, order, and stage required materials in alignment with the work scheduleOptimize and evaluate Preventive Maintenance (PM) programs to improve reliability, effectiveness, and asset performanceMaintain and continuously improve equipment Bills of Materials (BOMs), ensuring equipment attributes, specifications, and documentation are accurate and completeMonitor and enforce compliance with established work management processes and planning standardsEnsure all planning activities meet safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance requirements, including proper permit identification and documentationIntegrate safety and environmental controls into all maintenance plans and job scopesCollaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in maintenance planning processes and system effectivenessMaintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environmentPerform other duties as assigned Required QualificationsLegally authorized to work in Canada Must be 18-year-old and aboveStrong English communication (written and verbal)Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing, bending, and working in confined or elevated spaces Ability to work various schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as requiredBasic computer skills (MS Office package)Minimum of one year of experience working with control voltages, and/or PID loop controls, and/or 120/600vExperience with electrical systems MCC environmentAbility to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installationsKnowledge of electrical systems and detailed knowledge of the electrical maintenance workExperience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), such as SAP Preferred QualificationsPrevious experience as a maintenance plannerPrevious experience in a food manufacturing or industrial production environment Possess a valid Canadian full class 5 driver's licence in good standing authorizing you to drive independently during the course of your employmentPlease note that this position does not include relocation reimbursement.Cargill is an equal opportunity employer and commi
