About The Role The role is responsible for architecting and building highly performant, accessible, and responsive user interfaces that power core client products. This engineer will translate intricate product requirements and design systems into modular, testable React components that serve millions of active users. Working alongside product managers, designers, and backend platform teams, the engineer will optimize web applications for maximum speed, scalability, and cross-browser consistency while advocating for modern frontend engineering standards across the technical organization. Key Responsibilities Develop, test, and deploy rich, responsive web applications using React, TypeScript, and modern state management libraries Design and maintain reusable UI component libraries that conform to strict design tokens, accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA) guidelines, and performance budgets Optimize client-side application performance through code-splitting, lazy loading, asset optimization, and efficient state tree design Integrate complex REST and GraphQL APIs, ensuring robust error handling, caching, and state synchronization Establish frontend telemetry and monitoring, tracking metrics such as Core Web Vitals, error rates, and user engagement levels to drive continuous improvement Participate in technical design sessions and conduct rigorous peer code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality and modern styling conventions What We Are Looking For 4+ years of professional software engineering experience specializing in modern frontend web development Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and CSS/SCSS (including CSS-in-JS frameworks or Tailwind CSS) Deep understanding of browser internals, modern rendering strategies (SSR, SSG, CSR), and build tooling such as Webpack, Vite, or Turbopack Proven experience writing comprehensive test suites using Jest, React Testing Library, and End-to-End frameworks like Cypress or Playwright Strong communication and collaborative skills, with a track record of bridging the gap between product design and engineering execution Bonus: Experience with Next.js, Node.js backend integration, or contributions to open-source UI libraries Show more Show less
