About The Role We are seeking an experienced Laravel PHP Developer to join our dynamic development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality web applications that support our core platform. Your expertise will contribute to building scalable, secure, and efficient software solutions that enhance user experience and operational efficiency. As a key member of the team, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver features that meet business needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in PHP development, particularly with the Laravel framework, and a passion for writing clean, maintainable code. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in PHP development, with a proven track record of delivering robust web applications. Expertise in PHP 7.x and experience working with Laravel framework versions 5.5 to 6.x. Solid understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, and related frameworks. Proficiency in database management, particularly with MySQL and Elasticsearch. Experience with version control systems, especially Git, for source code management. Knowledge of RESTful API development and integration. Familiarity with Composer, npm, and package management workflows. Experience with automated testing methodologies such as TDD and integration testing. Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Bachelor’s or Master’s). Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Responsibilities Develop, test, and maintain web applications using Laravel framework, ensuring high standards of code quality and performance. Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate requirements into technical specifications and solutions. Write clean, well-structured, and documented code adhering to best practices and coding standards. Manage and version control source code using Git, ensuring proper documentation of changes and updates. Troubleshoot and resolve bugs and performance issues promptly to maintain optimal application functionality. Design and implement new features and enhancements to improve user experience and operational efficiency. Participate in code reviews and team meetings to ensure code quality and project alignment. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continually improve development processes. Assist in database optimization and management to ensure data integrity and performance. Contribute to the development of automated tests to support continuous integration and deployment processes.
