Software Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner! The Role • Contribute to the design, development, testing, and implementation of software solutions under guidance from senior engineers. • Develop and maintain application code in accordance with established engineering, quality, and security standards. • Create and execute unit tests and support automated testing efforts. • Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback to improve code quality. • Assist with troubleshooting, defect resolution, and application support for critical systems. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver assigned work on schedule and adhere to compliance requirements. What You'll Need • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience. • Foundational knowledge of software engineering concepts and the software development lifecycle. • Experience with one or more programming languages, with Java being a primary requirement. • Familiarity with Agile development practices, testing concepts, and version control systems. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-based environment and a willingness to learn new technologies.
