Forward Deployed Engineer (Full-Time | San Francisco | Enterprise AI Deployments) At Dynamism, we partner with breakout startups backed by Sequoia, a16z, and Y Combinator to help them hire engineers with founder energy, people who build fast, think like owners, and thrive in zero-to-one environments. We're hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer for a fast-growing enterprise AI company transforming insurance claims. The company has raised more than $50M and is building production systems that combine multimodal AI, document intelligence, telematics, computer vision, and LLM reasoning. Its platform is already processing thousands of claims for major insurers and enterprise operators. You will own customer deployments from initial scoping through go-live. This is a hands-on engineering role that also requires excellent communication and the ability to build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders. Location: San Francisco Mission office, on-site Monday through Friday Comp Range: $165K to $250K base plus competitive equity Stage: Growth stage, more than $50M raised Stack: Python, APIs, LLMs, prompt engineering, agentic AI systems Customers: Major insurers and enterprise operators What You'll Own • Production deployment of multimodal and agentic AI systems • End-to-end delivery from scope through integration and launch • Customer APIs, data flows, and operational-system integrations • Prototypes that validate new product capabilities quickly • Product feedback based on real deployment outcomes • Senior customer relationships and technical decision-making You Might Be a Fit If You… • Have roughly 1 to 5 years of experience in a technical role • Are strong in Python, software fundamentals, and system design • Have shipped production code with measurable business impact • Can explain complex technical decisions clearly to customers • Are familiar with LLMs, prompt engineering, and agentic AI concepts • Want a role that combines engineering depth with customer ownership Bonus If You've… • Worked as an FDE, technical product manager, or customer-facing engineer • Shipped software at an early-stage or VC-backed startup • Built AI agents or multimodal systems in production • Integrated software into complex enterprise environments • Created playbooks or reusable systems for future deployments Visa: Open to transfers and new sponsorship for qualified candidates.
