Senior Software Engineer

We're working with a leading software solutions provider specializing in developing high-performance, scalable systems that power innovative applications across various industries. The Role Design, build, and deploy production-ready Rust services from conception to deployment. Own and evolve features within the cloud GraphQL API, handling schema, resolvers, queries, and migrations. Develop and maintain asynchronous, concurrent systems with a focus on correctness and observability under load. Work effectively across gRPC / Protobuf service boundaries, ensuring backwards compatibility. Contribute to foundational shared components, prioritizing narrow and well-tested changes. Extend peer-to-peer architectures, focusing on media transfer and real-time communication systems. What You'll Need Strong command of Rust, including ownership, borrowing, lifetimes, traits, and error handling. Solid experience with asynchronous Rust (Tokio or similar), understanding tasks, channels, streams, and concurrency. Proven experience in designing and operating backend services and their associated APIs (HTTP, GraphQL, gRPC). Production experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL, including schema design and raw SQL. A strong understanding of authentication fundamentals, including OAuth2, JWT, and RBAC. Proficiency in a command-line, cloud-native workflow, including Docker, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure.
