About the Role Apexon is looking for an experienced Data Scientist with 8+ years of hands-on experience in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Advanced Analytics. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in the AWS AI/ML ecosystem and experience building scalable ML solutions that solve complex business problems. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies including Amazon SageMaker, Amazon Bedrock, Amazon Q, Apache Iceberg, and enterprise AI platforms while collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver production-ready AI solutions. Key Responsibilities Design, build, train, and deploy scalable machine learning models using Amazon SageMaker . Develop advanced analytics solutions to solve complex business challenges. Work with large-scale structured and unstructured datasets using Apache Iceberg and distributed data platforms. Build Generative AI solutions leveraging Amazon Bedrock , Amazon Q , and enterprise AI services. Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA), feature engineering, and model optimization. Collaborate with Data Engineers, ML Engineers, and Software Developers to productionize AI/ML models. Develop predictive models, recommendation systems, classification, regression, and NLP solutions. Support enterprise AI initiatives including Agent Core and AI-driven automation platforms. Monitor, evaluate, and continuously improve model performance in production. Communicate analytical findings and recommendations to technical and business stakeholders. Required Qualifications 8+ years of professional experience as a Data Scientist , Machine Learning Engineer, or related role. Strong background in Statistics, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Advanced Analytics . Hands-on expertise in Python and SQL . Experience with Python data science libraries including: Pandas NumPy Scikit-learn Matplotlib/Seaborn Strong experience with the AWS Machine Learning ecosystem , especially: Amazon SageMaker AWS AI Services Experience working with large datasets and distributed data processing frameworks. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Generative AI applications. Hands-on experience with Amazon Bedrock . Experience using Amazon Q . Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs) . Prompt Engineering experience. Knowledge of NLP use cases and AI-powered enterprise applications. Experience with Apache Iceberg . Exposure to enterprise AI implementation and AI platform modernization.
