Technical Solutions Architect

NetSuite Technical Solution Architect | US-Based I’m supporting a high-growth consulting firm that is expanding its NetSuite technical delivery team and looking to hire a NetSuite Technical Solution Architect . This is a client-facing consulting role focused on designing, implementing, integrating, and optimizing NetSuite solutions for complex organizations. The position would suit someone who enjoys owning technical architecture, solving difficult NetSuite challenges, and working closely with both business and technical stakeholders. The successful candidate will work across ERP transformation, finance systems, integrations, automation, data migration, and performance optimization projects, partnering with functional consultants, developers, project managers, finance leaders, IT teams, and third-party vendors. Key Responsibilities Architect and design scalable NetSuite solutions based on client requirements, business processes, and technical constraints. Lead technical discovery sessions to understand current-state processes, pain points, integration requirements, and future-state goals. Translate business requirements into NetSuite configurations, customizations, integrations, workflows, scripts, and technical design documentation. Lead or oversee technical implementation activities across SuiteScript development, SuiteFlow/workflows, data migration, integrations, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support. Design and support integrations between NetSuite and third-party systems, including ecommerce platforms, CRM, WMS, 3PL, EDI, payment, tax, reporting, and other business-critical applications. Review and optimize existing NetSuite environments, identifying opportunities to improve performance, scalability, automation, and system reliability. Conduct code reviews, support development teams, validate technical designs, and ensure delivery aligns with best practices. Prepare technical documentation including design documents, configuration guides, data mappings, test plans, and deployment notes. Present solution designs, project updates, demos, and recommendations to client stakeholders. Work closely with cross-functional consulting teams including functional consultants, business analysts, project managers, developers, and client-side finance/IT teams. Ideal Experience Strong NetSuite technical consulting experience, ideally within a partner, consulting, professional services, or systems integrator environment. Hands-on experience with SuiteScript 2.x, SuiteFlow, custom records, saved searches, Advanced PDF/HTML, workflows, and NetSuite configuration. Experience designing and delivering integrations between NetSuite and external platforms. Familiarity with integration tools or technologies such as Celigo, Boomi, Oracle Integration Cloud, MuleSoft, REST/SOAP APIs, SFTP, OAuth, or similar. Experience across finance and operational processes such as order-to-cash, quote-to-cash, procure-to-pay, record-to-report, inventory, revenue recognition, subscription billing, or SuiteBilling. Ability to lead technical discovery, solution design, documentation, testing, UAT, and stakeholder-facing delivery. Comfortable working directly with clients to understand requirements, explain technical solutions, and guide decision-making. Strong problem-solving skills across scripting, integrations, workflows, data migration, and system performance. Experience mentoring developers or leading technical workstreams would be highly beneficial. Nice to Have SuiteBilling, Advanced Revenue Management, or subscription billing experience. Salesforce CPQ, ecommerce, WMS, 3PL, EDI, or CRM integration experience. Experience with NetSuite performance optimization, script governance, saved search optimization, or system troubleshooting. NetSuite certifications such as SuiteCloud Developer, Administrator, or SuiteFoundation. Exposure to high-growth, private equity-backed, SaaS, manufacturing, retail, distribution, or multi-subsidiary environments.
