Job Description DevOps / Cloud Engineer Location: Ontario (Onsite) Contract Type: Contract Work Arrangement: Full-time, Onsite (Monday?Friday) Job Overview We are seeking an experienced DevOps / Cloud Engineer to support enterprise application modernization, middleware administration, cloud infrastructure automation, and production operations within a large-scale government environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, automating, and supporting Azure cloud infrastructure and enterprise middleware platforms while ensuring high availability, security, and operational excellence. The consultant will be responsible for infrastructure automation, CI/CD implementation, middleware upgrades, production support, disaster recovery planning, and knowledge transfer throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Infrastructure & Cloud Engineering Design, implement, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps. Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Ansible, and Packer. Build and maintain containerized deployments using Docker and OpenShift. Configure Azure networking components including Application Gateway, Load Balancers, and Firewall rules. Support cloud migration and environment modernization initiatives.
