Construction Project ManagerHolland Power Services Inc., a subsidiary of Alectra Inc., is a leading power line restoration company in North America with operations in New Brunswick, Ontario, Quebec, and New England. As a rapidly growing organization, we are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Construction Project Manager to support the successful planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects. This role is critical to ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with client requirements and company standards.Position OverviewReporting to the Director of Operations, the Construction Project Manager will be responsible for managing construction projects from tendering and planning through execution and closeout. Working closely with Operations, Project Services, clients, contractors, and field personnel, the successful candidate will play a key role in delivering projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with company and customer requirements. The successful candidate will provide leadership throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring effective coordination of resources, risk management, scheduling, budgeting, quality assurance, and stakeholder communication.Key ResponsibilitiesProject ManagementManage construction projects from tendering and planning through execution and closeout.Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, estimates, and resource requirements to support successful project delivery.Monitor project performance to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with customer requirements.Project ExecutionCoordinate project activities with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.Oversee project documentation, drawings, safety plans, work procedures, and quality requirements.Identify and manage project risks, scope changes, and financial impacts.Financial and Operational PerformancePrepare project estimates, budgets, forecasts, progress billings, and project reports.Monitor project costs and financial performance to support profitability objectives.Provide regular project updates and recommendations to management.Safety and QualityPromote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and applicable regulations.Support project quality assurance activities, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives.Client and Stakeholder RelationsBuild and maintain positive relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams.Represent Holland Power Services professionally throughout all phases of project delivery.Support business growth by contributing to tendering activities and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.QualificationsPost-secondary education in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering Technology, Business, or a related field.Minimum 5+ years of progressive construction project management experience.Experience managing industrial electrical, utility, powerline construction, civil infrastructure, or related projects is preferred.Strong understanding of project planning, scheduling, budgeting, estimating, and contract administration.Experience managing multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge of applicable safety regulations, construction practices, and quality management principles.Excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is considered an asset.Must maintain a valid driver's license and satisfactory driver's abstract, remain legally eligible to travel internationally, and be available to travel throughout Canada and the United States as required.Work LocationThe preferred location for the successful candidate is Fredericton, NB.
