Security Engineer (Wiz)

Job Title: Security Engineer Pay Rate: $73/HR Duration: 6 months Location: Charlotte, NC / Phoenix, AZ / Dallas, TX About the Role We are seeking an experienced Security Engineer to support a large-scale cloud security transformation initiative. In this role, you'll help migrate cloud security operations from Prisma Cloud to Wiz CNAPP while improving vulnerability management, cloud security visibility, and automation. You'll collaborate with cloud, application, and security teams to reduce cloud security risks across Azure, Google Cloud, and Kubernetes environments. Key Responsibilities Manage and investigate cloud security findings using Wiz CNAPP. Build automation using Python , Terraform , Bash , or PowerShell . Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI or Tableau. Support vulnerability management and cloud security remediation. Integrate Wiz with enterprise tools including Splunk and ServiceNow. Work closely with cloud engineering teams to improve security posture. Analyze cloud security data and recommend remediation actions. Support Agile delivery and continuous security improvements. Requirements Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience. Cybersecurity or cloud security certifications are highly preferred. 5+ years of Information Security Engineering experience. 2+ years securing Azure and Google Cloud environments. Experience with Wiz or another CNAPP platform. Python, Terraform, Bash , or PowerShell scripting. Power BI or Tableau reporting. Splunk and ServiceNow integration. Identity & Access Management (IAM). Kubernetes and container security. Strong communication and analytical skills. Nice-to-Have Skills & Experience Prisma Cloud migration experience. Microsoft Defender. Google Security Command Center. Aqua Security. Microsoft Sentinel. MongoDB. HashiCorp Sentinel. Cloud implementation or migration projects. Financial services or regulated industry experience. CISSP, CISM, GIAC, CCSK, CKS, Azure or Google Cloud certifications.
