Company: Kapitus Duration: 6 month Contract-to-hire Pay rate: $60/hr Location: Remote (must work Eastern Standard Time hours) Schedule: Standard business hours (aligned to EST) Relocation: Not required – open to remote candidates (EST alignment required) Interview: 1-2 Rounds Virtual Must-Haves: Active CSM certification (SAFe Scrum Master or A-CSM preferred) 5+ years experience as a practicing Scrum Master 3+ years in financial services (banking, lending, fintech, or payments) Experience working in regulated environments with compliance integrated into delivery Strong proficiency with Jira and Confluence Proven ability to facilitate agile ceremonies and drive continuous improvement Plusses: Experience in small business lending domain Background in SAFe environments Demonstrated success coaching teams toward measurable behavioral improvements Strong understanding of Scrum Master vs Product Owner role distinction Experience handling compliance or risk reviews within sprint cycles Day-to-Day: Embed within stream-aligned Scrum teams delivering against business OKRs Facilitate all agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, etc.) Identify and remove impediments to maintain team velocity Protect team focus and shield from outside disruptions Partner closely with Product Owners and engineering teams Coach team on agile best practices and continuous improvement mindset Ensure compliance and risk review steps are embedded within sprint workflows Drive meaningful retrospectives that result in tangible process improvements Job Description: Insight Global is seeking a Scrum Master for a top financial services client specializing in small business lending.
