Senior DevSecOps Engineer

Location: Washington State (Hybrid) Employment Type: Contract (Full-Time) About the Role We are seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to lead enterprise automation, platform engineering patterns, and cloud governance implementations. This role helps define secure, repeatable cloud architectures while supporting decentralized teams. Key Responsibilities Architect and implement enterprise level DevSecOps automation Design reusable landing zones and cloud provisioning frameworks Lead security automation, policy as code, and compliance enforcement Oversee migration and modernization automation strategies Mentor DevSecOps engineers and review automation designs Collaborate with security, operations, and architecture stakeholders Required Qualifications 7+ years of DevOps / platform engineering experience Deep expertise in cloud automation and infrastructure design Strong background in security focused CI/CD pipelines Experience defining enterprise cloud standards and guardrails Excellent communication and technical leadership skills Washington State residency required Preferred Qualifications Experience with multi-agency or large-scale enterprise platforms Familiarity with NOC/SOC tool integrations Experience in governance heavy or compliance driven environments Azure DevOps Engineer Expert Level Certification
