About The Role We are seeking a talented and motivated remote Flutter Developer to join our dynamic team on a part-time basis. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on multiple projects that align with our mission of creating applications that improve the world. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience with Flutter and mobile app development for iOS and Android platforms. As a Flutter Developer at Gorin Systems, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications, collaborating closely with our lead developers and project managers to ensure timely delivery and adherence to best practices. This position is perfect for someone who is passionate about mobile technology, eager to work on meaningful projects, and looking for flexible working hours within a supportive team environment. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of professional experience with Flutter development. Proven experience in mobile app development for iOS and/or Android platforms. Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and design patterns. Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git, and project management tools like Jira. Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting and debugging. Fluent in English, both written and verbal, with excellent communication skills. Availability for meetings between 9 am to 1 pm EST; flexible outside of those hours. Willingness to undergo identity verification as part of the onboarding process. At least 4+ years of overall software development experience is preferred. Comfortable with lengthy technical assessments and demonstrating technical proficiency. Immediate availability to join the team is highly desirable. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Flutter applications for mobile devices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Implement best practices for app performance, security, and user experience. Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and adhere to coding standards. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code to facilitate future updates and scalability. Test applications thoroughly across different devices and operating systems to ensure optimal functionality. Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Flutter and mobile development. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues promptly. Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and workflows.
