Cloud Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and innovative Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure in a remote environment. The ideal candidate will work on cloud architecture, deployment automation, security, and performance optimization to support business applications and services. Key Responsibilities: Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Build and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud environments Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation Monitor system performance, availability, and costs, and optimize cloud resources Implement cloud security best practices, access controls, and compliance measures Manage CI/CD pipelines and support application deployments Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and networking issues Collaborate with DevOps, development, and security teams to improve system reliability Maintain cloud documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational runbooks Support disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity planning Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field 3–6 years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure roles Strong expertise in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible Proficiency in Linux, scripting (Python, Bash), and networking concepts Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or CircleCI Strong understanding of cloud security, IAM, and monitoring tools Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently in a remote environment Preferred Qualifications: Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, or Google Associate Cloud Engineer Experience with serverless technologies and microservices architecture Familiarity with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, CloudWatch) Knowledge of cost optimization and FinOps practices Experience in SaaS, fintech, healthcare, or enterprise-scale systems
