About The Role The Lead Front End Engineer at Capital One Software is a pivotal role responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the company's marketing website. This position requires a highly skilled professional with extensive experience in front-end development, particularly with React, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and content strategists, to deliver a high-performance, accessible, and scalable web presence. The role involves translating business and marketing goals into technical solutions, optimizing website performance for core web vitals and SEO, and ensuring a seamless user experience. As a leader in the engineering team, you will also govern development workflows, implement best practices, and drive continuous improvement in deployment and operational processes. This is a remote position, offering an opportunity to contribute to a company that is pioneering cloud and data solutions for the financial industry and beyond.
