P1 Security is one of the very few companies in the world tackling telecom security through pure Mobile and Telecom Security attacks and security from 5G and Cloud-based infrastructure Security , OpenRAN, Network Slicing and RAN Sharing, Edge Computing (MEC), down to legacy 2/3/4G Diameter, SS7 SIGTRAN attacks, GTP manipulation and fuzzing. Our offering and expertise range from Network and Telecom Core Network Security, Intrusion Detection and Vulnerability Assessment solutions, with technology backed by more than a decade of engineering research. We are a lean scale-up, engaged in emerging markets (Eastern Europe, Middle East, Asia), Europe and North America. The P1 Security team includes experts from telecom operators and security companies as well as renowned security researchers who regularly present unique P1 Security research at leading international security conferences & GSMA working groups. P1 Labs, the R&D branch of P1 Security, shares Open Source initiatives with the telecom security community (www.github.com/P1sec/). We are growing the team with people who want to help write it. We are looking for experienced profiles with grounded, hands-on knowledge of telecom networks — and a real appetite for FTTx technologies in particular. Curious, creative and open-minded people who want to dig deep into a genuinely sovereign topic: the security of the mobile networks our connectivity runs on. Job Description If your years have been spent in FTTx — access networks, PON, CPE, provisioning, field operations — and security has always been the question you kept coming back to, talk to us. The role described below does not really exist as a box to tick yet: we care far more about the person than about an exact match with a job title. Bring the part of the picture you know best, and we will build the rest together. What you will do Audits — you will plan and run scoped, authorized penetration tests of FTTH/PON infrastructure: OLTs, ONTs/ONUs, the management systems around the ODN, and customer premises equipment. PON internals — you will dig into GPON, XG-PON, XGS-PON and NG-PON2: OMCI, PLOAM, and how ONTs are authenticated and provisioned. CPE and gateways — you will take them apart: firmware extraction and reverse engineering, exposed debug interfaces (UART/JTAG), hardcoded credentials, update mechanisms and web/CLI management flaws. Subscribers at scale — you will look at what provisions and manages them (TR-069/CWMP, TR-369/USP, ACS/OSS/BSS integrations, zero-touch provisioning) and at the subscriber-facing edge: BNG/BRAS, PPPoE/IPoE, DHCP, RADIUS/AAA, VLAN segmentation, QoS and isolation between subscribers. Convergence and infrastructure — you will follow fixed–mobile convergence (5G FWA, shared core, shared OSS/BSS, unified identity and billing) and review devices and management planes (routers, switches, aggregation equipment, NMS/EMS, SNMP, NETCONF/YANG, SSH/Telnet, APIs, privileged access) against vendor and industry hardening baselines. Threat modeling — you will map attack paths for real operator environments using frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, the GSMA FASG/FS.xx guidance and the MITRE FiGHT knowledge base. Findings and clients — you will turn all of this into clear, prioritized reports with proof-of-concept evidence, risk ratings and actionable remediation, present them to stakeholders, and support remediation verification and retesting. The team — you will contribute to our internal tooling, test methodologies, lab environments and reusable attack playbooks. Preferred Qualifications Deep knowledge on Fixed-line network architecture (FTTx, DSL, Coaxial) MANDATORY: Experience in security audit pentests on OT and IT infrastructure Experience with vendor ecosystems such as Huawei, ZTE, Nokia, Ericsson, Calix, or Adtran FTTH equipment. Familiarity with telecom security standards and frameworks: 3GPP SCAS, GSMA NESAS, ISO/IEC 27001, NIST CSF, and ITU-T/BBF specifications. Experience in red teaming or adversary emulation against critical infrastructure. Relevant certifications, such as: OSCP / OSEP / OSWE / OSED GPEN / GXPN / GRID CEH (Practical), eJPT/eCPPT, or CRTO Telecom-specific training (GSMA, Black Hat/DEF CON telecom or hardware trainings) Published research, CVEs, conference talks, or bug bounty history in telecom or embedded devices. If you have a passion for telecom security and want to be part of a dynamic and innovative team, we encourage you to apply and join us in shaping the future of Telecom Security!
Revenue Engineering builds the platform that measures how customers use Datadog and turns that measurement into usage and cost data they can act on. Every product Datadog ships is metered here. Every customer who wants to see which team, service, or business unit drove their usage sees it through this layer.

As a Staff Product Manager for Metering and Cost Attribution, you will own product direction for that platform. You will set the standard for how usage is measured, attributed, and presented across Datadog.

The role starts with tagging: the mechanism customers use to attribute usage to owners inside their organization, and the foundation that cost allocation, chargeback, quotas, and governance build on. From there you will shape the metering capabilities that new pricing and packaging models draw on, and extend the platform's speed and scale as Datadog's portfolio grows. Over time you will own the vision and roadmap for a usage platform used by every team at Datadog and relied on by every customer.

The usage layer is the system of record for consumption, and it is what billing draws from. What you own is the path from usage events to billable output, along with the consumption models, cost attribution, and usage analytics that customers and their finance teams use to understand their spend. You will partner closely with the billing platform team across that boundary.

Usage and cost attribution reach across a broad portfolio of billable metrics, several regions, and customers organized into parent and child organizations and reseller hierarchies, and they surface in units and in dollars, in-app, through the API, and in agentic workflows. Designing for that range means making deliberate choices about granularity, timeliness, and flexibility, and holding those choices steady across the many teams that build on them.

This is a highly visible individual contributor role spanning several engineering teams, every product vertical that emits billable telemetry, and partners in Sales, Support, and Finance.

What You'll Do:

Set product direction for metering and attribution by defining the problems and outcomes that matter from usage events through billable output, holding a multi-quarter view of how the platform should evolve, and collaborating with multiple engineering teams to sequence work into phases that deliver clear customer value along the way.

Own the tagging model as a customer-facing product, giving customers a consistent way to define tags across every product, translating those tags into granular usage and cost breakdowns wherever they surface, and designing how customers adjust and reconstruct attribution when their tagging changes.

Define the metering and rating capabilities that pricing and packaging depend on, working ahead of launches on usage aggregation, unit definitions, commitments, included usage, and overage, so that the metering platform stays ahead of Datadog's commercial needs.

Act as the subject matter expert for metering and cost attribution across Datadog, setting the standard that product verticals build against when they bring a new SKU into usage attribution, aligning engineering, Cloud Cost Management, Support, Sales, and Finance on a single cost allocation model, and mentoring product managers taking on metering work in their own areas.

Own the quality standard for usage data, translating what customers need in accuracy, timeliness, and auditability into product requirements and service objectives, keeping measured usage, attribution, and billing consistent with one another, and producing the sizing and impact analysis that engineering leadership and pricing partners need to resource the work.

Build agentic capabilities on top of usage, surfacing an unexpected change in consumption early, explaining which teams and services drove it, and recommending what the customer can do next. Own the data contracts and interfaces that let agents across Datadog reason about usage.

Anticipate market movement in cost allocation and cost governance, tracking how FinOps practice, cloud provider primitives, and specialist vendors are evolving, shaping Datadog's investment in response, and engaging customers directly through preview programs, design partnerships, and industry forums.

Who You Are:

A strong systems thinker: you can follow cause and effect from telemetry intake through metering, aggregation, attribution, and the bill, you reason about unit economics and cost-to-serve alongside customer experience, and you hold the throughline as scope evolves across quarters.

Fluent in data models and pipelines: you are at home in the concepts that usage data depends on, including event pipelines, usage aggregation, cardinality, deduplication, backfills, and processing latency, and you understand how they shape what a customer can be shown.

A cross-org synthesizer: you read across engineering teams, Support, Sales, Finance, and product verticals, and turn diffuse signals into a defensible product position.

Rigorous about quality: you treat accuracy in usage and cost data as a product standard you personally own, and you know how to balance investment in quality with new capability.

Collaborative and opinionated: you build trust quickly with engineers, PM peers, designers, and commercial partners, you influence senior stakeholders without direct authority, and you adapt when new evidence emerges.

Experienced in product management: you have 8+ years of Product Management experience, or a track record showing Staff-level capabilities in related software roles, with significant ownership of complex technical products. You are comfortable operating with ambiguity and breadth in platform work where the scope shapes itself over multiple quarters.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Nice to Have:

Experience with high-cardinality telemetry and the cost and pricing tradeoffs it creates.

Experience with usage-based or consumption-based monetization, including metering, rating, and cost allocation.

Familiarity with usage-based billing infrastructure such as Metronome, Orb, m3ter, Amberflo, Zuora, or Stripe Billing, or with FinOps tooling such as CloudZero, Vantage, or Finout.

Experience owning a platform capability consumed by many internal product teams, including the adoption and onboarding motion that goes with it.

Experience with pricing and packaging, and comfort reasoning about margin and cost-to-serve alongside a packaging change.

Exposure to the FinOps Foundation framework or the FOCUS specification, and to chargeback, showback, and tag governance at enterprise scale.

Benefits and Growth:

High income earning opportunities based on individual performance

New hire stock equity (RSUs) and employee stock purchase plan (ESPP)

Continuous professional development, product training, and career pathing

Intradepartmental mentor and buddy program for in-house networking

An inclusive company culture, ability to join our Community Guilds (Datadog employee resource groups)

Free, global Spring Health benefits for employees and dependents age 6+, competitive global benefits

Benefits and Growth listed above may vary based on the country of your employment and the nature of your employment with Datadog.

Datadog offers a competitive salary and equity package, and may include variable compensation.
