This role is open to candidates residing in the US. You should apply if: You want to impact the industries that run our world: Your efforts will result in real-world impact – helping to keep the lights on, get food into grocery stores, reduce emissions, and most importantly, ensure workers return home safely. Architect and own Samsara's marketing data infrastructure: ETL/ELT pipelines, Databricks Gold Layer tables, and the core data models that power segmentation, targeting, automation, and analytics. Design the semantic layers, data dictionaries, and structured documentation that enable self-serve BI and conversational analytics, partnering with the BI team to ensure core sales and marketing KPIs are built on trusted, well-modeled data. About the role: Samsara's Telematics Business Unit — the company's oldest business line and the core of its revenue — is looking for a Principal Product Manager to take on a highly strategic, commercially-oriented mandate that cuts across the entire BU. In this role, you'll move fluidly between influencing company-wide strategic initiatives and hands-on building with engineering, reporting directly to the leader of the Telematics Business Unit. This role exists to drive two things in parallel: step-function improvement in the core telematics business, and new, adjacent product bets that grow out of our core vehicle gateway (VG) products. You'll act as a single-threaded owner on cross-cutting initiatives forming your own hypotheses and business cases, then building and shipping alongside engineering to prove them out. This is a remote position open to candidates residing in the US, based in the Eastern Time Zone. You should apply if: You want to impact the industries that run our world: Your efforts will result in real-world impact – helping to keep the lights on, get food into grocery stores, reduce emissions, and most importantly, ensure workers return home safely. You are the architect of your own career: If you put in the work, this role won't be your last at Samsara. We set up our employees for success and have built a culture that encourages rapid career development, countless opportunities to experiment and master your craft in a hyper growth environment. You're energized by our opportunity: The vision we have to digitize large sectors of the global economy requires your full focus and best efforts to bring forth creative, ambitious ideas for our customers. You want to be with the best: At Samsara, we win together, celebrate together and support each other. You will be surrounded by a high-calibre team that will encourage you to do your best.  In this role, you will:   Own cross-cutting initiatives that drive step function business & commercial impact for the entire Telematics business unit, working directly with the head of Telematics and with our GTM & field leaders. Identify, scope, and incubate new product bets adjacent to our core telematics and vehicle gateway products — forming hypotheses, building business cases, and, once validated, pairing with a small engineering pods to prototype and get in front of real customers. Operate as a deep individual contributor on highly ambiguous, complex problems — this is a path for someone who wants to stay hands-on. Champion, role model, and embed Samsara's cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices. Minimum requirements for the role: Product management experience in B2B (ideally enterprise B2B), with direct, hands-on familiarity working with field, go-to-market, and sales teams, and finding product-market fit for a B2B SaaS product. A track record of taking a product from 0 to 1 (or 1 to 10) in a B2B environment — you've built from a blank sheet of paper, not just optimized an existing roadmap. Strong commercial and business judgment — comfortable sizing a market opportunity and building a business case from first principles. Comfortable using AI tools to prototype and build quickly. No deep telematics domain expertise required — you'll build that on the job. An ideal candidate also has: Former founder or other high-ownership, self-starter experience. Experience in a business with some physical-world tangibility, similar to Samsara's own focus on physical operations. The compensation range shown spans approved pay zones for this role. Senior Technical Account Manager (Strategic Alliances)
InternshipFully RemoteSenior$133,000 - $133,000 / Year
pythonjavascriptsqlsnowflakerestjira+7

At Affirm, we exist for the moments that matter—giving people a clear, predictable way to pay over time, with no hidden fees, no surprises, and no tradeoffs on what matters most. As a Senior Technical Account Manager (Senior TAM, L6) at Affirm, you will own the operational aspect of technical account management across Affirm's strategic alliance portfolio—alerting, monitoring, troubleshooting, delivering against SLAs, fielding technical inquiries, and performing investigations and analysis, while also driving technical initiatives that translate merchant business objectives into technical strategies and product optimizations. Senior TAMs are part of the Engineering team and collaborate closely with Affirm's Product, Engineering, Operations, Customer Success, and Frontline Technical Support teams. This is an operations-heavy role to start. Expect the majority of your early focus to be on keeping merchant integrations healthy—monitoring, triage, troubleshooting, and SLA delivery—while you progressively take on more custom solutioning and cross-functional initiatives. Over your first 6–12 months, as you build operational mastery, you will grow into owning your own book of accounts and carrying it through to end-to-end account ownership. A Senior TAM independently owns operational health across the strategic alliance portfolio, designs custom integration solutions grounded in Affirm's standard integrations, drives cross-team collaboration on initiatives, acts as a technical lead on team projects, and mentors less-experienced members of the team. What You'll Do Own the operational aspect of technical account management across Affirm's strategic alliance portfolio—alerting, monitoring, troubleshooting, and fielding technical inquiries—so integrations stay healthy and issues are resolved quickly. Deliver against SLAs, proactively surfacing technical risks before they become customer-impacting and responding with urgency to merchant issues. Perform in-depth investigations and root-cause analysis across logs, queries, and integration data, owning resolution end to end and escalating to cross-functional partners or executives when needed. Drive technical initiatives and partner with internal and merchant stakeholders on launch initiatives—expansions, promotions, new product adoption, and integration optimizations—that grow the value of the accounts after launch. Design and deliver high-scope, often-custom integration solutions grounded in Affirm's standard integrations—combining, extending, and tailoring them to complex, open-ended problems while balancing speed, quality, maintainability, reliability, and scalability. Act as a technical lead for internal projects, defining and delivering well-scoped milestones and executing the project roadmap. Operationalize best practices by creating and updating playbooks, runbooks, alerting, and UAT certification plans across the strategic alliance portfolio and continuously reduce keep-the-lights-on (KTLO) work. Partner with Product and Engineering leads to identify, plan, and prioritize projects based on team goals and resources, acting as the voice of the merchant to influence the roadmap. Mentor and level up less-experienced TAMs, share learnings from your integrations and investigations, and contribute to interviewing and team development. Over your first 6–12 months, grow into owning a dedicated book of strategic alliance accounts—carrying operational ownership through to end-to-end account ownership. What We Look For Professional Background: at least six years in a technical, external-facing role such as Technical Account Management, Solutions/Partner Engineering, or Solutions Architecture—ideally within FinTech, payments, or SaaS—with a demonstrated track record of owning the operational health of technical accounts and delivering against SLAs. Operational Ownership: proven ability to run alerting, monitoring, troubleshooting, and technical inquiries across a set of accounts, balancing reactive operational work with proactive initiatives. Ownership & Autonomy: proven ability to independently scope and deliver complex, open-ended technical work, and to partner with stakeholders on launch initiatives, with strong project management and follow-through. API Expertise: deep understanding of RESTful APIs, webhooks, and the HTTP protocol, with hands-on experience using tools like Postman to debug and validate integrations. Architecture Fluency: Experience in API integrations and the ability to design custom solutions on top of them to solve complex merchant challenges. Coding & Code Fluency: ability to read and understand production-level code (HTML, JavaScript, SQL, and ideally one server-side language such as Python) and to author new, novel queries to diagnose merchant or system issues. Troubleshooting Acumen: ability to diagnose issues using browser developer consoles, log analysis and observability platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Chronosphere), and ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, Notion). Technical Communication: excellent verbal and written communication; able to tailor explanations to both non-technical leaders and technical teams, read a room and adjust in real time, and synthesize technical challenges back to internal teams. Relationship Management: ability to discover and develop relationships with technical decision-makers, secure written consensus on integration milestones, and drive cross-team collaboration. Leadership & Mentorship: demonstrated ability to mentor teammates, set best practices, and lead technical initiatives; a growth mindset with self-awareness and a habit of seeking and acting on feedback.   Nice to Have Familiarity with the payments ecosystem. Familiarity with web/mobile application architecture. Experience implementing or customizing e-commerce platforms, payment gateways, or in-store point-of-sale systems. Experience acting as a technical lead on cross-functional projects and influencing product roadmaps. Pay Grade - L Equity Grade - 4 Employees new to Affirm typically come in at the start of the pay range. Affirm focuses on providing a simple and transparent pay structure which is based on a variety of factors, including location, experience and job-related skills.  Base pay is part of a total compensation package that may include monthly stipends for health, wellness and tech spending, and benefits (including 100% subsidized medical coverage, dental and vision for you and your dependents). In addition, the employees may be eligible for equity rewards offered by Affirm Holdings, Inc. (parent company). CAN base pay range per year: $133,000 - $183,000 Location - Remote Canada This remote role is open only to candidates residing in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, or Saskatchewan. #LI-Remote Remote-first with flexibility built in Affirm is proud to be a remote-first company. ContractHybridPrincipal$213,000 - $236,000 / Year
rubyrailsgraphqltaxinsurancepayroll

About Gusto At Gusto, we're on a mission to grow the small business economy. We handle the hard stuff — payroll, health insurance, 401(k)s, and HR — so owners can focus on their craft and their customers. With teams in Denver, San Francisco, and New York, we support more than 500,000 small businesses nationwide and are building a workplace that reflects the people we serve. All full-time employees receive competitive base pay, benefits, and equity (RSUs) — because everyone who helps build Gusto should share in its success. Offer amounts are determined by role, level, and location. Learn more about our Total Rewards philosophy . AI is a fundamental part of how work gets done at Gusto. We expect all team members to actively engage with AI tools relevant to their role and grow their fluency as the technology evolves. AI experience requirements vary by role and will be assessed during the interview process. About the Role: As a Senior Staff Software Engineer on the Agent & Partner Experiences team, you'll be a key technical leader responsible for influencing the team and broader organization as we build and scale our platform. You'll do this through a combination of hands-on development in our complex Ruby on Rails codebase and guiding others to deliver a high quality platform experience. You'll sit at the bridge between our API and AI world - turning a payroll platform built for developers into one that agents can reason about and act through.  About the Team: Gusto Agent & Partner Experiences is a platform that allows developers to embed payroll directly into their own software using our APIs and allows AI agents to act on payroll on a customer's behalf. We've taken Gusto's robust payroll infrastructure and made it available beyond Gusto itself - to third party developers and to the agents acting on their customers' behalf. Our vision is to enable anyone to build the best payroll product for their end customers - powering payroll for small and medium businesses across a variety of industries, from vertical SaaS to fintech and neobanks to AI-native products. Learn more about Gusto Agent & Partner Experiences here . Here's what you'll do day-to-day: Identify and solve high-impact problems involving technical and organizational complexity that requires understanding and coordination across multiple domains. Design the API contracts and agent facing tools our partners and AI agents build on, including what a good interface looks like when the caller is an agent model. Engage directly with our developer-customers and internal agent partner to deliver a remarkable payroll product. Ship code. Clean, tested, and performant. Level up the craft of software engineering across the organization by providing technical guidance and mentoring. Inform and maintain best practices for reliability and observability for the team. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues. Here's what we're looking for: Experience: 12+ years of professional software development experience. You have been a technical owner for organization-wide engineering initiatives and have played a role in scaling engineering organizations. Technical Expertise : You are a Ruby and Rails expert. You have navigated massive Rails applications, worked with Ruby across multiple codebases, and are comfortable working at multiple layers of abstraction. Platform Thinker : You've designed and built platforms and public-facing APIs, and have a strong understanding of how to build for reliability and performance at scale. Bar Raiser : You've spent time mentoring and raising the technical bar for the entire organization. Others look to you for guidance on how to tackle ambiguous problems and handle competing priorities. Effective Communicator : You think in terms of business priorities and know about how to orient your team around the right technical goals for the business as well as how to convey technical constraints and needs to business leaders. And a few things that would be bonus - genuinely optional : Payroll domain experience : Payroll, tax or fintech experience is a real head start. It's also learnable, and we'll teach it. Agent facing tooling : Experience designing interfaces consumed by a model - MCP servers, tool and function definitions or an integration path for AI providers. We care how you think about turning an API into a navigable tool surface. GraphQL at scale : You've been a client of GraphQL - writing efficient queries, building the query construction and data mapping layer around them, and reasoning about performance when you don't own the resolvers. You have enough schema fluency to influence the design of APIs other teams own.  Our cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $213,000 to $236,000 in Denver & most remote locations, $251,000 to $278,000 in San Francisco, New York and Seattle. Stock equity is additional. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above. At Gusto, we don't use titles the traditional way, as a signal of rank or hierarchy. Instead, our titles describe two things at once — your craft (what you do, e.g. Engineering, Design) and your scope of ownership (what you're accountable for) — which is why you'll see something like "Head of X" instead of a rank word like "Director" that tells you neither. Because of this, the title on this posting may look different from what you'd expect based on the scope and seniority of the role, and from how similar roles are typically titled elsewhere. If you have questions about how this role compares to your current title or level, your recruiter can help translate. Gusto has physical office spaces in Denver, San Francisco, and New York City. Employees who are based in those locations will be expected to work from the office on designated days approximately 2-3 days per week (or more depending on role). The same office expectations apply to all Symmetry roles, Gusto's subsidiary, whose physical office is in Scottsdale. Note: The San Francisco office expectations encompass both the San Francisco and San Jose metro areas.  When approved to work from a location other than a Gusto office, a secure, reliable, and consistent internet connection is required. This includes non-office days for hybrid employees. Reliable, consistent presence: We expect regular and predictable attendance, whether you're working in-office, hybrid, or fully remote, so that you stay closely connected to your team, customers, and stakeholders in real time and ensure colleagues and customers receive the timely support and responsiveness they deserve. Our customers come from all walks of life and so do we. We hire great people from a wide variety of backgrounds, not just because it's the right thing to do, but because it makes our company stronger. If you share our values and our enthusiasm for small businesses, you will find a home at Gusto.  Gusto is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We do not discriminate in hiring or any employment decision based on race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex (including pregnancy, childbirth, or related medical conditions), marital status, ancestry, physical or mental disability, genetic information, veteran status, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, or other applicable legally protected characteristic. Gusto considers qualified applicants with criminal histories, consistent with applicable federal, state and local law. Gusto is also committed to providing reasonable accommodations for qualified individuals with disabilities and disabled veterans in our job application procedures. We want to see our candidates perform to the best of their ability. If you require a medical or religious accommodation at any time throughout your candidate journey, please fill out this form and a member of our team will get in touch with you. Gusto takes security and protection of your personal information very seriously. Please review our Fraudulent Activity Disclaimer . Waymo is an autonomous driving technology company with the mission to be the world's most trusted driver. Since its start as the Google Self-Driving Car Project in 2009, Waymo has focused on building the Waymo Driver—The World's Most Experienced Driver™—to improve access to mobility while saving thousands of lives now lost to traffic crashes. The Waymo Driver powers Waymo's fully autonomous ride-hail service and can also be applied to a range of vehicle platforms and product use cases. The Waymo Driver has provided over ten million rider-only trips, enabled by its experience autonomously driving over 100 million miles on public roads and tens of billions in simulation across 15+ U.S. states. The Waymo Safety team works to promote and help to continuously improve the safety of Waymo's fully autonomous driving technology. Our experts develop safety goals and strategies, and conduct safety engineering analyses to ensure safety is being considered throughout the design and development of our vehicles. The team develops and promotes safety strategies and policies for autonomous vehicles for its work with regulatory authorities, lawmakers, law enforcement and public and non-profit organizations.  In this role you will help build Waymo's offboard Field Safety monitoring capabilities, which help to ensure the continued safety of Waymo's vehicles as we expand our operations. As part of Waymo's Field Safety team, you will be involved in the analysis of events and issues affecting Waymo's autonomous vehicles. Inspired by these real-world issues, you will design and build proactive, offboard field monitors, making use of Waymo's latest available AI tools. You will receive direct mentorship from Waymo's Field Safety Architect and other safety leaders to transition cutting-edge academic theory into real-world autonomous fleet safety at scale. This role follows a hybrid work schedule and reports to the Senior Director, Safety. You will: Participate in investigations into driverless events, employee safety concerns, and other potential issues that could pose risks to the safety of Waymo vehicles, analyzing field data to identify trends. Identify opportunities for further offboard field monitoring, then design and build your own monitors, making use of Waymo's latest available AI tools. You have: Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. This role does not require post-doctoral work experience, and recent Ph.D. graduates are highly encouraged to apply. Hands-on experience developing software for data analysis, system modeling, or simulation. Demonstrated ability to independently write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code (e.g., Python, C++) to build reusable data analysis tools that anticipate the next technical question. Solid grasp of one (and, ideally, multiple) fundamental areas relevant to autonomous vehicle safety including physical system modeling, control theory, vehicle dynamics, sensing, perception, planning, behavior prediction, and machine learning. A natural curiosity to explore novel ways of leveraging data to rapidly answer safety questions arising from field events. Eagerness to network internally and build relationships across diverse engineering teams to trace issues and collect data. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. We prefer: Software experience in autonomy or machine learning. Familiarity with statistical data analysis, quantitative risk assessment, or reliability engineering. Experience working with large-scale datasets, database querying (SQL-like), or building interactive offboard data dashboards. The expected base salary range for this full-time position across US locations is listed below. Actual starting pay will be based on job-related factors, including exact work location, experience, relevant training and education, and skill level. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the role location or, if the role can be performed remote, the specific salary range for your preferred location, during the hiring process.  Waymo employees are also eligible to participate in Waymo's discretionary annual bonus program, equity incentive plan, and generous Company benefits program, subject to eligibility requirements.  Salary Range $170,000 — $210,000 USD
