Lead the annual SOX scoping and risk assessment, including quarterly refreshes, and support the annual Fraud Risk Assessment, so the program has appropriate scope and coverage under COSO. Monitor BP and IT SOX testing and report status to leadership and share status with external auditors Lead work with the business to improve control documentation, including education of templates and SOX guidance. Find optimization and automation opportunities across the SOX lifecycle through the use of AI. Support the rollout of the GRC tool for SOX, including control libraries, workflows, evidence requests, and testing templates. Define the data and reporting requirements the platform must meet, and test that it produces what the program needs. Run the quarterly sub-certification process and report results to leadership Own SOX program status reporting: dashboards and metrics for leadership, audit calendar progress, and deficiency and remediation status. Own status reporting for the full SOX lifecycle: scoping and risk assessment, testing, deficiencies and remediation, segregation of duties (SOD), SOC 1 report reviews, the fraud risk assessment, and audit calendar progress. Minimum qualifications Big 4 audit firm experience on SOX 404 or ICFR engagements, including managing audit calendars, PBC requests, and fieldwork with external audit teams. Experience working directly with external auditor teams on requests, testing schedules, and findings, from the company side. Several years of hands-on SOX 404 experience, including scoping, risk assessment, control documentation, testing, and deficiency evaluation. How we're different We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills. The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences. Come work with us! Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues. As part of a recently public company, you'll have the autonomy and support to make an impact as we build for the long term. About the role: The Commercial Customer Success team supports hundreds to thousands of customers who depend on the Samsara platform daily. This team is dedicated to equipping every customer with the necessary resources to achieve rapid value, regardless of their background or expertise. To scale this impact, we are seeking a Digital Customer Success Manager, AI & Automation to be a hands-on developer responsible for designing, testing, deploying, and maintaining agentic systems to support a digital-first post-sales strategy. Key responsibilities include: Customer Journey Optimization: Pinpoint friction points in the customer experience, create proactive interventions, and turn interactions into automated, personalized journeys. End-to-End Execution: Write code, execute experimental tests, and continuously maintain production solutions. Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner across teams to ensure a cohesive experience for all users. Success is measured by key customer outcome metrics, including increased adoption, minimized churn risk, and higher NRR tied to the agents you deploy. This is a remote position open to candidates residing in the US except the San Francisco Bay Metro Area, NYC Metro Area, and Washington, D.C. Metro Area. You should apply if: You want to impact the industries that run our world: Every phone call you answer and every email you send can affect whether truck drivers deliver goods on time and without accidents, whether students get dropped off safely from school, or whether power gets restored quickly after a natural disaster. You thrive the most when solving problems: Our constantly expanding technology and the complexities faced by our customers provide an exciting range of challenges for our Customer Success teams. With a growth mindset and a desire to learn, you will strategically partner with our customers to find unique solutions to help keep their operations safe, efficient, and sustainable. You are a natural relationship builder: Whether the relationship is with our customers or with cross-functional teams in Samsara, you are in constant communication and collaboration with key stakeholders to win as a team. You are the architect of your own career: If you put in the work, this role won't be your last at Samsara. This Customer Success team is still shaping its future and you will have plenty of autonomy and opportunities to master your craft in a hyper growth environment. You want to be with the best: At Samsara, we win together, celebrate together and support each other. You will be surrounded by the best and brightest professionals out there. In this role, you will: Analyze: Identify customer painpoints and areas of opportunity with an analytical mindset combined with a customer-centric lens. Build: Build the digital CS playbooks, taking advantage of the programs and resources other teams have built, design agent architectures, write prompts, integrate with external systems (Salesforce, Samsara platform, Customer Success tools), build guardrails, and write clean Python code that the team can maintain. Test: Define success criteria and evaluation frameworks before you write the first line of code. Build automated test suites that cover real-world scenarios, edge cases, and known failure modes. Deploy: Own the deployment, versioning, and rollback plan for every agent. Ensure agents are production-ready before they reach CSMs. Ensure anything we deploy makes the experience more simple, not more complex, for our customers. Monitor: Track agent performance in production — monitor accuracy, latency, failure rates, and customer outcomes. Detect drift before anyone has to tell you something's wrong. Maintain & Iterate: Update agents continuously as Samsara's product evolves, Customer Success playbooks change, and real-world data indicates what needs improvement. Champion, role model, and embed Samsara's cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices Minimum requirements for the role: Hands-on experience building and maintaining production LLM-based agents or automations, with at least 1 year working directly with LLMs or AI agents in production Ability to code rapidly with Python proficiency or skilled at using AI to code; have a track record of connecting AI to external systems: CRMs, APIs, customer data, and operational tools Experience using product usage data to spot risk and opportunity (health signals, activation milestones, usage floors) and acting on it before it surfaces in a renewal conversation Comfort running experiments and drawing sound conclusions from the data in order to improve the performance A systems mindset for managing a high-volume book of business: you build repeatable playbooks and motions, not just manage individual relationships 3+ years of experience, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment An ideal candidate also has: Direct experience with Anthropic Claude or similar LLM APIs Experience building programs to support NRR, retention, or expansion outcomes on a digital or long-tail book of business (100+ accounts) Experience building regression test suites or eval frameworks for non-deterministic AI systems Experience in a product-led or high-velocity customer environment WHY THIS ROLE, WHY NOW You'll be first. This function doesn't exist yet. You'll define the role, the standard, and the playbook for digital customer success at Samsara. The problem is real. A CSM managing 350+ accounts can't do everything manually. Digital and agentic motions are what make this segment sustainable at Samsara's scale. The timing is right. The models have caught up to the use cases, and Samsara has the customer data, platform context, and Customer Success team to make these systems genuinely powerful. About the role Growth is how millions of people find Chime, set up direct deposit, transact every day, unlock all the features and benefits Chime offers, and keep coming back. The Growth Platform is the engine behind it: Web, Paid, Notifications, Incentives, Targeting, Experimentation and Personalization, all used by every Growth team at Chime. We're looking for a Director to lead this org and build what comes next, a platform where AI and ML decide what each member sees, when, and on which channel, and where AI agents design, run and learn from experiments on their own, so Chime learns faster every week. If you've built growth platforms at scale and want to define how they power Chime's hypergrowth in 2027 and beyond, we'd love to talk. In this role, you can expect to Lead the Growth Platform org, a team of tech lead managers (TLMs) and senior engineers across Web, Paid, Notifications, Incentives, Targeting, Experimentation and Personalization. You'll report to the VP of Growth Engineering. Set the multi-year vision and roadmap. Turn seven separate systems into one connected growth platform with shared member data, decisioning and measurement. Make the platform AI-native and agentic. Put ML and GenAI to work in targeting, bidding, content, incentives and send-time optimization. Invest in agentic flows across the platform, starting with self-learning experiment agents that generate hypotheses, launch and monitor tests, read results, and feed what they learn into the next round. Build in the evaluation, guardrails and human oversight to make this safe. Help Growth teams ship faster. Make it easy for squads, marketers and partners to launch, target, personalize and measure changes on their own, in days rather than weeks. Partner closely with Product, Marketing, Data Science/ML and Analytics leaders. You'll co-own the plan, make trade-offs openly, and tie platform bets to the metrics that matter: new direct depositors, retention and acquisition efficiency. Hire, coach and grow strong tech lead managers who stay hands-on technically while leading their teams. Build an inclusive, high-ownership team people want to join and stay on. Keep the platforms reliable, cost-efficient and compliant. Work with Risk, Compliance and Privacy so consent, fairness and member trust are built in from day one. To thrive in this role, you have 10+ years in software engineering, including 5+ years leading teams and at least 2 years leading tech lead managers or other leaders. You know how to help TLMs balance technical ownership with people leadership. A track record of building growth or marketing platforms that many teams rely on, such as experimentation, targeting, messaging, incentives/rewards, paid attribution or personalization. Hands-on experience shipping ML-powered systems that make real-time product decisions (ranking, propensity/uplift models, bandits or similar), plus experience building LLM-based agents or agentic workflows in production, with a practical view of how to evaluate, govern and scale them. Deep experimentation and measurement chops. You know how to prove a lift is real, and how to build platforms that keep tests trustworthy at high volume. Strong distributed systems and data architecture judgment: real-time event pipelines, feature stores, low-latency decisioning and high-volume messaging. Clear executive communication and a history of earning buy-in across Product, Marketing and Data Science. Bonus: experience in fintech or another regulated industry, paid acquisition/mobile measurement, or leading a large platform migration. #LI-Onsite #LI-AC2 Below is the base salary offered for this role and level of experience. At Affirm, we exist for the moments that matter—giving people a clear, predictable way to pay over time, with no hidden fees, no surprises, and no tradeoffs on what matters most. Affirm's engineering team is building a large-scale, highly available, and global infrastructure that is shared across multiple financial products. Ensuring that our infrastructure is accessible to all engineers is critical to the success of the business. We pride ourselves on our culture across engineering of engaging in thorough technical design review, operational excellence, and capable incident response and analysis. Affirm runs its workloads on more than 85 Amazon EKS clusters, and the number is growing. The Workload Safety team creates one set of standards for how workloads are configured and run, so Affirm can grow globally and still meet its availability and latency SLOs. The team identifies the industry best practices Affirm needs, drives their adoption across every engineering team on EKS, and enforces them through policy and automation so new workloads comply by default. As a senior engineer on the team, you will help set its roadmap, decide which standards matter most, and build a repeatable way to take each standard from research to enforcement across the fleet. What you'll do Define and evolve workload safety standards for Affirm's EKS fleet, such as CPU and memory settings, workload isolation and placement, tolerance for disruption, graceful termination to name a few Own each standard end to end: research and prototyping, white-glove onboarding for early adopters, self-service guidance for everyone else, and automation and policy guardrails that keep every workload compliant from day one Lead cross-team initiatives from design through fleet-wide rollout, mentor other engineers, and set a high bar for design, code review, and operational readiness Isolate workloads by criticality and resource profile so one misbehaving workload cannot degrade critical paths such as checkout Fix stuck workloads and node lifecycle problems, such as pods that ignore termination signals, pod disruption budgets that block node cycling, and Karpenter timeouts that prevent bin packing and the removal of excess capacity Determine the safe operating limits of each cluster (pod count, node count, API server request volume), keep clusters within them, and develop control plane scaling patterns for bursty workloads such as scheduled batch jobs and large deployments Analyze workload resource profiles across the fleet (CPU, memory, disk, network) to guide EC2 instance type strategy, and automate that analysis as workloads change Measure each standard's impact on availability, latency, risk, and cost, and use the results to prioritize the roadmap Participate in on-call for Kubernetes runtime issues across the fleet, and turn recurring failure patterns into roadmap items Work closely with the teams that run services, batch jobs, and ML workloads on EKS, and with the deployment, capacity, and SRE teams Keep up with new best practices from the Kubernetes community and adapt them to Affirm's needs What we look for 5+ years of experience running Kubernetes in production at scale, ideally Amazon EKS across many clusters Deep understanding of Kubernetes resource management and scheduling: requests and limits, OOM and CPU throttling behavior, affinity and anti-affinity, taints and tolerations, and topology spread constraints Solid grasp of the pod lifecycle and disruption management, including graceful termination, pod disruption budgets, and node draining Experience enforcing configuration standards through admission control and policy-as-code (for example, OPA Gatekeeper or Kyverno) Proficiency in Go or Python, including building production infrastructure software such as Kubernetes controllers, operators, or admission webhooks Strong production debugging skills and a demonstrated ability to turn recurring incidents into systemic fixes Track record of leading technical initiatives across multiple teams, driving adoption of shared standards, and mentoring other engineers Experience quantifying the impact of infrastructure changes on availability, latency, and cost Strong written communication, including standards and guidance that teams can adopt on their own This position requires either equivalent practical experience or a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
