About Anthropic Anthropic's mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems. About the role New hires join Anthropic every week; their first days here shape how they understand our mission and culture, and help to accelerate their time to productivity. We're looking for a Program Manager to own the live delivery of our new hire onboarding program, so that every cohort, whatever its size or timing, gets an experience that is well run, welcoming, and grounded in what makes Anthropic distinctive. You'll own our San Francisco onboarding program end to end: facilitating sessions, overseeing the operating rhythm behind each cohort, and orchestrating across Recruiting, People Services, Workplace, IT, and the many presenters who bring the program to life. You'll work within our overall onboarding strategy and program design, and your job is to deliver our live onboarding program reliably, week after week, while spotting where the experience can get better and feeding those insights into how the program evolves. This role suits someone who loves the craft of running a great program: the preparation, the moments in the room, and the systems that make it all repeatable at scale. You'll do well here if you stay calm when plans change, care deeply about the details that shape a first impression, and bring warmth and clarity to a room of people on their first day. This role requires being in the office at least two days a week – on all programming days and as needed otherwise. Key responsibilities Own weekly program delivery: Run each onboarding cohort from pre-arrival readiness through program close, so every cohort gets a consistent, high-quality experience Facilitate live sessions: Serve as the primary facilitator and host for every cohort, setting the tone for new hires and keeping the program on time and on message Support presenters and facilitators: Brief and prepare the speakers, panelists, and backup facilitators who deliver program content, so sessions land well regardless of who is in the room; deliver feedback as needed and support content iteration Oversee cross-functional execution: Partner closely with the NHO coordinator to coordinate across Recruiting, People Services, Workplace, IT, and AV, so that start dates, device readiness, rooms, catering, and communications come together each week Set the weekly operating rhythm: Prioritize and sequence program logistics and coordination work each week, making sure nothing falls through the cracks Support improvements to the program's operating system: Partner closely with the NHO coordinator to improve run-of-show documents, checklists, playbooks, and automations that make the program repeatable, reduce single points of failure, and flex with variable cohort sizes Track program health: Monitor operational and experience metrics via new hire feedback, surface trends and friction points, and bring recommendations that inform program design and priorities Drive content improvement: Based on new hire feedback and company needs, work with facilitators and the broader onboarding team to iterate on and improve program content over time Plan ahead for what could change: Anticipate cohort size swings, holidays, space constraints, and last-minute changes, with contingency plans ready before they're needed Minimum qualifications Interest in Anthropic's mission and in helping new hires connect their work to it Extensive experience owning the end-to-end delivery of a recurring program, event series, or training program with many stakeholders Advanced experience facilitating or presenting to large groups, in person and virtually Strong project management skills, including building and running timelines, trackers, and checklists in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar) or similar tools Working proficiency with Slack and Google Workspace Exceptional written and verbal communication, including communications for audiences ranging from new hires to senior leaders Demonstrated ability to coordinate across teams without formal authority to meet fixed, recurring deadlines Preferred qualifications Experience running onboarding, orientation, or learning and development programs in a fast-growing organization Experience scaling a program's cadence or volume, such as moving from biweekly to weekly delivery, while maintaining quality Experience building workflows or automations with AI tools like Claude to reduce manual work Familiarity with program measurement, including survey tools (such as Qualtrics), feedback analysis, and reporting on program metrics Experience managing a bench or rotation of presenters, facilitators, or volunteer contributors The annual compensation range for this role is listed below. For sales roles, the range provided is the role's On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. Annual Salary: $240,000 — $240,000 USD Logistics Minimum education: Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience Required field of study: A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience Minimum years of experience: Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices. Visa sponsorship: We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this. We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification. Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. About the role Claude is becoming the AI layer inside the platforms where enterprises already work. Our partnership with Salesforce — anchored by Claudeforce — is the first and largest example, and a growing roster of strategic technology partners is following the same path: making Claude the front door to their products for millions of users. As Field Marketing Manager, Tech Partnerships, you will own the ongoing comarketing relationship with these strategic tech partners. You will be the single marketing point of contact for each partner's marketing organization, build and run the joint marketing plan, manage shared marketing funds, and turn large partnership agreements into pipeline-generating field programs — exec summits at partner flagship events, joint workshops, enablement moments, and co-branded activations around the world. Key responsibilities Own the day-to-day comarketing relationship with strategic tech partners, starting with Salesforce: be the one consistent Anthropic marketing voice your partner counterparts plan with, and keep both sides working from a single joint plan Build joint marketing plans with each partner, with goals and success metrics agreed before any shared funds are committed Manage joint marketing development funds (MDF): allocation across programs, spend tracking, compliance with partnership terms, and reporting on what the investment returned Design and execute flagship joint moments — executive summits and sessions at partner events (e.g., Dreamforce, World Tours), joint customer workshops, partner sales kickoff enablement, and co-hosted executive dinners Extend partner programs through the broader ecosystem, including joint activations with shared systems-integrator and consulting partners Measure what matters: partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline, program-level attribution, and a partnership marketing health scorecard built with Marketing Ops Protect the brand: apply comarketing guidelines, run messaging and asset approvals in both directions, and know when to say no to a partner ask Operate as connective tissue across Anthropic: Partner Marketing, Partnerships/Business Development, segment field marketers, Product Marketing, Events, and Comms all touch these relationships. You keep them coordinated and the partner experience coherent Minimum qualifications Ownership of a comarketing relationship with a large strategic partner: a hyperscaler, a major SaaS platform, or an equivalent, including joint planning and MDF management A track record of executive-level field programs: summits, flagship-event activations, C-level dinners, and roadshows, with the pipeline to show for them Strong relationship-building skills: able to earn trust with partner marketing leaders while holding Anthropic's line on brand, messaging, and spend Comfort building in ambiguity: the playbook for this motion is being written now, and you'll write much of it Rigor on measurement: fluent in pipeline attribution with sales and ops counterparts Preferred qualifications 7+ years of B2B marketing experience, with significant time in field, partner, or alliance marketing at a technology company Experience on both sides of a platform partnership (at the platform and at the ISV/partner) Familiarity with the AI ecosystem and how enterprises adopt AI products Experience running programs at global scale across multiple regions and event series Experience working with or marketing through global systems integrators The annual compensation range for this role is listed below. About the Role We are looking for a SOX Director - Compute and Infrastructure to join our Internal Audit team at Anthropic. In this role, you will lead financial risk assessment and internal control design over compute and infrastructure. This is Anthropic's largest cost and one of the most complex areas of our financial reporting. You'll focus on cloud spend, usage-based costs, vendor commitments, accruals, and cost allocation, as we scale rapidly toward an IPO. This is a unique opportunity to build SOX controls at an AI-first company, in a domain where few established playbooks exist. Compute is purchased under multi-year agreements with multiple providers, metered in third-party environments, accrued from internal telemetry, and increasingly provisioned and scheduled by automated systems and agents. You will help define how controls work in that environment for both business and IT environments, from reliance on service providers to full-population monitoring of high-volume usage data, while maintaining the rigor required for public company compliance. As the SOX Director, Compute and Infrastructure, you will own scoping, control design, testing, remediation, and reporting for compute and infrastructure processes, partnering directly with Compute Accounting, Finance Analytics & BI, Infrastructure Engineering, Finance & Strategy, and Procurement to design scalable controls, oversee documentation, and support communication with external auditors. This role reports to the Head of Business Controls and plays a critical part in strengthening internal control maturity through pre-IPO readiness and beyond. Key responsibilities Lead financial risk and internal control design for compute and infrastructure accounting, including cloud spend, usage-based costs, vendor commitments, credits, refunds, accruals, cost allocation, budgeting, and asset lifecycle management Develop and execute the SOX control plan and roadmap for compute and infrastructure, making defensible prioritization calls on what must be controlled now and what can follow Own scoping, risk assessment, walkthroughs, testing, remediation, and reporting activities for compute and infrastructure processes Build scalable, automated, and sustainable controls to support growth through pre-IPO and post-IPO readiness Pioneer the use of AI and automation to enhance control effectiveness, including full-population matching of usage to invoices, continuous monitoring, and anomaly detection Design, implement, and monitor controls over the completeness, accuracy, and cutoff of compute cost, including monthly accruals built from internal workload telemetry and the true-up to provider invoices Establish controls over multi-year provider agreements, including reserved capacity, minimum spend commitments, usage-based charges, signing credits, service-level credits, refunds, and billing corrections Design and test controls over the allocation of compute cost between cost of revenue and research and development, including workload tagging, shared clusters, and changes to tagging logic or allocation models Establish the investigation threshold and variance criteria used in the control design to ensure the precision needed to detect a material misstatement Design and test controls over infrastructure related control inclusive of development of an asset lifecycle management system Oversee control documentation and ensure audit-ready evidence is maintained for all compute and infrastructure processes, in compliance with US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements Own control requirements across high-volume financial data pipelines, partnering with Finance Analytics &BI, Finance & Strategy, and Accounting to validate completeness, accuracy, classification, general-ledger mapping, key reports, and monthly close governance Own the identification and control treatment of key reports and Information Produced by the Entity (IPE) used in compute accruals, allocation, and the close Partner with IT SOX and engineering teams on the IT general controls and automated controls that support compute data, including interface, ITAC's, and change management over pipelines and models Embed control requirements into new systems, pipelines, and process changes at design time Lead the assessment of reliance on cloud providers that meter and bill compute, including review of SOC 1 reports, scope and period coverage, bridge letters, and exceptions or qualified opinions Define and monitor complementary user entity controls, and design alternative procedures where a provider report is missing, does not cover the relevant system or period, or includes exceptions Assess how the use of AI in Finance and in the close changes what controls need to cover, and update the control environment accordingly Partner with Compute Accounting, Finance Analytics & BI, Infrastructure Engineering, Procurement, and Finance & Strategy to implement scalable controls over compute and infrastructure Work with the Compute Controller and Chief Accounting Officer organizations to align control priorities with business objectives Train and enable process owners and control performers, many of whom are new to SOX, on control execution, evidence retention, and what audit-ready means Support management's assessment of internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR) and related disclosures Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors on compute and infrastructure SOX matters Prepare the Company's formal positions on control design, provider reliance, and deficiency evaluation for compute and infrastructure Manage audit requests, coordinate testing schedules, and facilitate walkthroughs across compute and infrastructure processes Track and report on control status, testing results, and remediation to leadership Drive alignment with external auditors on testing approaches, reliance strategies, and deficiency evaluation and aggregation assessment Minimum qualifications Have designed controls over cloud, compute, or infrastructure cost, or over a comparable high-volume, usage-based process, and understand control objectives, IPE, and sufficiency of audit evidence Have proven ability to establish or scale SOX controls at newly public or pre-IPO companies Possess deep understanding of compute accruals, vendor commitments, cost allocation, financial close, and US GAAP requirements Have experience evaluating service organization reports (SOC 1 and SOC 2) and complementary user entity controls Are comfortable working with large datasets and data pipelines, and
