About Anthropic Anthropic's mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems. The Editorial Publishing team is looking for a team member to write, edit, and review material that Anthropic publishes about its own systems, including model cards, risk reports, safety and security reports, and other technical material. You'll have a front-row seat to some of the most consequential material a frontier AI lab produces, working cross-functionally with teams like Alignment, Interpretability, Safeguards, Policy, and Legal to produce rigorous reports on tight timelines. You'll be describing model behavior, training environments, evaluation methods, and their limitations, and must be legible to both technical experts and general-public readers. The ideal candidate brings clarity and structure to complex writing and editing processes involving many stakeholders. Key responsibilities Write and edit technical public-facing reports and blogs for Anthropic Takes pieces from inception to publication on short deadlines Solicit input from partner teams across Anthropic, while preserving narrative clarity Minimum qualifications Strong alignment with our mission and experience working in AI safety  Strong writing and editing skills, with a portfolio of published work that demonstrates an ability to explain technical subjects to non-specialist readers Familiarity with how frontier AI systems are trained, evaluated, and deployed A track record of shipping accurate, polished work on short deadlines and under pressure Ability to work with subject matter experts to understand technical concepts and fact-check assertions Strong judgement about how to incorporate legal, policy, and reputational considerations into the work Comfort taking ownership in a fast-moving environment where processes are still taking shape Preferred qualifications Experience writing or editing safety or security reports, postmortems, transparency reports, or similar public disclosures Experience as a technical writer or editor at a technology company or research lab Comfort working in a content management system (CMS) and publishing web content Experience using AI tools like Claude to streamline editorial processes The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.  For sales roles, the range provided is the role's On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. Annual Salary: $265,000 — $295,000 USD Logistics Minimum education: Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience Required field of study:  A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience Minimum years of experience: Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices. Visa sponsorship:  We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this. We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification. Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed.  Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team. Your safety matters to us. To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses. In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains. Legitimate Anthropic recruiters will never ask for money, fees, or banking information before your first day. If you're ever unsure about a communication, don't click any links—visit  anthropic.com/careers  directly for confirmed position openings. How we're different We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills. The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences. Come work with us! Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues. Partner Enablement Lead, Beneficial Deployments
AnthropicNew York City, United States (Hybrid)3 days ago
ContractHybridMid$265,000 - $265,000 / Year
goconcretefacilitationsalesaccount managementpartnerships+6

About Anthropic Anthropic's mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems. About the role Anthropic's Beneficial Deployments team brings Claude to organizations doing some of the world's most important work across the nonprofit and education sectors. These organizations share a problem: mission-critical work, thin budgets, and little slack to figure out new technology on their own. Our Customer Success team helps them go from first login to Claude being part of how their teams work, but we cannot do that one organization at a time, nor should we. The sector already has trusted intermediaries these organizations turn to first: networks, capacity builders, funder technical assistance providers, community colleges, and fellowship programs. This role exists to make those intermediaries as effective at activating and training organizations on Claude as our own Customer Success team is. As the Scaled Enablement Lead, you'll build the Claude for Nonprofits train-the-trainer program that qualifies intermediaries to onboard organizations and deliver Anthropic-designed workshops on our behalf. You'll own the kits, credentials, and quality gates that let them run the show without an Anthropic CSM in the room. You'll also own the enablement thinking behind scaling impact through Claude Corps : how what fellows learn and build serves every organization we support, not only the ones that host them. The people you enable are not selling Claude. They are trainers, implementers, and program staff whose job is to help mission-driven organizations meaningfully adopt AI. Your job is to make sure these intermediaries can do that with Claude, to the same bar we hold ourselves to, and to help them evolve their offerings as we learn what these organizations need. The measure of success for this role is organizations activated and trained well without Anthropic delivering it. You'll be half program builder, half facilitator. You'll design and deliver the first cohorts yourself, then make the system repeatable: kits, qualification paths, credentials, teach-back gates, and a refresh rhythm that keeps content current as our products change. You'll build on the operating model and certification infrastructure of Anthropic's Education team and own everything specific to this audience, working closely with Beneficial Deployments Customer Success, Partnerships, Claude Corps program leadership, and our Education teams. This is not a partner account management or alliances role, and it carries no quota. It is not a book-of-business Customer Success role either, though you'll spend time with organizations to stay grounded in what these nonprofits truly need. The role reports to the Customer Success Lead for Beneficial Deployments, has no direct reports today, and may grow into people management as the program scales. Expect periodic travel for in-person cohorts and sessions. Key responsibilities: Own the Claude for Nonprofits train-the-trainer program end to end: its tracks, the qualification path for each, the credential, and recertification Build the kits intermediaries teach from: an activation playbook covering kickoff, admin setup, launch, and Day 30/60/90 reviews, and workshop-in-a-box modules starting with AI fluency and use case discovery, each with a deck, facilitator guide, demo scripts, sample data, and workbook Recruit and qualify a pilot cohort of anchor intermediaries, then open a repeatable application process that routes each to the right track and the right home, whether the Claude Partner Network or a Beneficial Deployments credential Design and deliver enablement for network intermediaries, adapting the program to how each reaches and supports its members, and help them evolve their offerings as we learn what organizations need Build the connective tissue among intermediaries so they learn from each other: shared office hours, a facilitator cohort that stays together after qualification, and a clear path for bringing new intermediaries along Support the enablement thinking for Claude Corps: how we extend the reach of fellows and the organizations around the program, and how what they learn feeds back into the enablement every customer receives Hold the quality bar when Anthropic is not in the room through teach-back gates, graded mock sessions, shadowing, and session satisfaction and activation quality at or above Anthropic-led benchmarks Run the program as one system: content intake and refresh calendar, production standards, resource hub organization, learning management system courses and assessments, and the agreement and attribution model for intermediaries acting on Anthropic's behalf Own the program's numbers, including approved trainers, collaborator-led activations and workshops, the Anthropic effort required per organization activated, and quality against benchmark, and use them to decide where the effort goes next Be the field voice for intermediaries inside Anthropic, bringing what they learn back into our enablement content, product feedback, and engagement model Minimum qualifications: 7+ years of experience in enablement, training, or program management  Train-the-trainer at scale. You have built and run a program that qualified other people to deliver your training consistently without you in the room: a certified facilitator network, a partner or community education program, or an instructor credential.  Learning design and delivery. You have designed adult learning experiences end to end, including curriculum, facilitator guides, and assessments, and delivered them live Nonprofit ecosystem fluency. You have worked with or inside the intermediaries that reach mission-driven organizations (networks, capacity builders, funders, technical assistance providers) and understand how they influence adoption Hands-on proficiency with AI tools. You use Claude and/or other AI tools in your day to day and understand their impact firsthand Preferred qualifications: Comfort being the single owner of a program while depending on teams you do not manage Ownership of, or close partnership with, a certification or badging program, including assessment design and recertification Experience with Skilljar or another learning management system, and with partner portals or resource hubs Facilitation of change management or AI fluency programs for non-technical teams Time at a capacity-building organization, an intermediary, or an edtech or technology company serving the sector Experience leading work through contractors or vendors while keeping several programs coherent   The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.  For sales roles, the range provided is the role's On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. Annual Salary: $265,000 — $320,000 USD Logistics Minimum education: Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience Required field of study:  A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience Minimum years of experience: Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. About the role As a Communications Manager at Anthropic, you will bring The Anthropic Institute's research to the world. The Institute works to advance the public conversation around AI, publishing findings so that policymakers, researchers, journalists, and the public can reckon with what's here and prepare for what's ahead.  You will provide dedicated communications coverage for the Institute's two largest and fastest growing research engines: 1) Economic Research, which tracks AI's effect on jobs, wages, and the broader economy through the Anthropic Economic Index and labor market analysis, and 2) Societal Impacts, which studies how Claude is actually used, from workplace impacts and personal guidance to Claude's values and frontier agent use. You'll also support TAI's other teams, including Special Projects and the Frontier Red Team.  In this role, you'll drive research tracking, publication strategy, and reactive press across both portfolios, including launches like quarterly Economic Index releases and the rollout of the new Economic Research Fund. You'll partner closely with the Economic Research and Societal Impacts research teams day to day, work alongside the Deputy Communications Lead, and coordinate with Anthropic's broader communications, policy, and editorial teams to keep messaging aligned while maintaining the Institute's distinct voice. Responsibilities Drive day-to-day communications for the Economic Research and Societal Impacts teams, including research tracking, publication planning, and reactive press Lead communications planning and launch execution for the Anthropic Economic Index, recurring labor market analyses, and new research initiatives like the Economic Research Fund Develop narratives that translate technical and quantitative research for audiences well beyond specialist communities Build and maintain relationships with reporters across economics, labor, technology, research, and general interest outlets, along with academic economists and think tank researchers Draft communications plans, briefing documents, talking points, press materials, and social content Manage reactive press on sensitive findings in partnership with the Communications Lead, Deputy Communications Lead, and policy team Partner with policy and editorial teams on publishing strategy, ensuring research reaches the largest appropriate audience through the Anthropic blog, the Institute's site, microsites, interactive experiences, video, and audio Present researchers for media interviews, podcast appearances, and speaking engagements, and prepare them to succeed in those moments Partner with Institute communications leadership on major announcements and milestone engagements Build repeatable rollout playbooks and processes that allow a lean team to cover a growing research portfolio Track both teams' research agendas to shape findings early and plan publications months in advance You may be a good fit if you Have deep communications experience, with significant depth in research, science, economics, or policy communications Have a track record of translating complex, technical, or academic research into public narratives that reach audiences well beyond specialist communities Are comfortable reading and interrogating quantitative research, and can engage substantively and credibly with the researchers who produce it Have strong, active media relationships Can move between long-lead strategic messaging and fast-turnaround tactical execution without losing quality, from planning a launch months out to handling an inbound press inquiry the same day Have led multi-channel rollouts spanning strategy, digital, press, and cross-functional approvals Are intellectually curious about AI's impact on the economy, society, and the future of work, and can embrace the unexpected in a field where the unusual is the norm Thrive in fast-moving environments where priorities shift and ambiguity is common Are excited about Anthropic's mission to develop AI that is safe and beneficial Strong candidates may also have Experience at a research institution, think tank, economics publication, or policy organization communicating quantitative findings Familiarity with the AI policy landscape and the debates around AI's labor market and societal impacts Experience standing up communications processes or playbooks on a small, growing team A background working directly with economists, social scientists, or academic researchers on publication strategy Experience managing sensitive or high-scrutiny press moments, including deciding what to say, when, and how Enthusiasm for using AI tools in your own workflows to multiply what a small team can do The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
