From Fivetran's founding until now, our mission has remained the same: to make access to data as simple and reliable as electricity. With Fivetran, customer data arrives in their warehouses, canonical and ready to query, with no engineering or maintenance required. We're proud that more organizations continue to leverage our technology every day to become truly data-driven. About Us Fivetran and dbt Labs are bringing together two industry-leading companies with a shared mission: helping organizations unlock the full value of their data together, we're delivering the data infrastructure layer that helps organizations move, transform, and trust their data — from the moment data moves, through every transformation, to the context teams and AI systems rely on. Fivetran helps organizations automate data movement across the systems, clouds, engines, and tools they rely on. dbt Labs pioneered analytics engineering, helping teams transform data into reliable, governed insights. Together, we support thousands of organizations as they build a trusted foundation for analytics, AI, and better business decisions. As we bring our teams and technology together, we're building on the strengths of both companies while continuing to deliver the products and experiences our customers know and trust. It's an exciting time to join us: we're creating a company with the scale, talent, and technology to help more organizations put their data to work with greater speed, confidence, and impact. During this transition period, you may see references to both Fivetran and dbt Labs throughout our recruiting process as we integrate our teams, systems, and career sites. About the Role Fivetran and dbt Labs are now one company. Together we build the data movement and transformation tools that data teams around the world rely on. Our Analytics team runs on those same tools every day, so you'll work on a modern data stack and help set best practices for the industry. As a Senior Product Analyst, you'll help product leaders understand how customers adopt, use, and stay with our core Fivetran data movement and dbt platform products as well as new product releases spanning AI, BI, and compute. You'll be a "full-stack" analyst. You'll build the data models, define the metrics, create the dashboards, run the analysis, and turn it all into recommendations that shape what we build next. AI is part of how we work. We expect analysts to use AI tools thoughtfully to accelerate analysis and increase efficiency, while applying their own judgment and validating the results. This is a full-time, flexible hybrid position based in Oakland, CA. Our hybrid work model offers remote flexibility and in-person collaboration; there is no fixed number of required office days, and we encourage teams to meet in person regularly. Why This Role Is Exciting Two product portfolios just came together. Many questions about how customers use Fivetran and dbt together have never been asked. You'll be one of the first people to answer them. Your work drives leadership decisions. You'll focus on adoption, engagement, and retention, the metrics product leaders use to decide where to invest. You own the work end to end, from raw data to the decision it informs. You'll analyze products built for people like you. Our customers are data teams. Technologies You'll Use SQL (BigQuery / Snowflake) dbt / dbt State Looker / LookML / Omni Hex / Sigma / Google Sheets Claude Code / Codex What You'll Do Partner with product managers and product line leaders to understand problems and potential solutions with data. Deliver regular analysis and insight on product adoption, engagement, and retention. Proactively investigate trends in user behavior and product usage. Find issues and growth opportunities before anyone asks, and use them to shape product and growth strategy. Define, measure, and monitor the KPIs that show whether our products are healthy and whether the company is on track. Size the potential impact of new product initiatives and recommend how to prioritize them. Analyze product launches and experiments, and recommend what to do next. Find and reduce friction in the funnels users go through to sign up, activate, and adopt our products. Tackle questions where product data meets broader business data, such as revenue, sales, and support. Build and maintain the data models, metrics, and dashboards behind your work. Help new hires, colleagues, and partners understand our data and use it well, so data-informed decisions become the norm. Skills We're Looking For 5+ years in analytics, mostly in product analytics, ideally at a high-growth B2B or SaaS company. Advanced SQL. You can turn messy, raw data into clean, trustworthy datasets, and write, debug, and explain SQL yourself. Comfort using AI tools in analytics workflows to explore data, draft or improve SQL, automate repetitive work, and synthesize findings. You can evaluate and validate AI-generated output. Hands-on experience building data models, ideally with dbt, creating dashboards in a BI tool such as Looker, Omni, or Tableau, and performing funnel, cohort, and segmentation analysis. A track record of using analysis to drive product or business decisions, not just report on them. You can take an open-ended question with little direction and turn it into a clear analysis and recommendation. Strong attention to detail and prioritization. Clear written and verbal communication, including the ability to explain findings to executives and technical tradeoffs to engineers. Experience influencing cross-functional, distributed teams, both asynchronously and in real time. Bonus Skills Experience designing and analyzing experiments (A/B/n tests), including test design, sample size, significance, and turning results into launch decisions. Deep knowledge of the SaaS customer lifecycle and business metrics, such as ARR (annual recurring revenue), retention, and expansion. About the role We're hiring a Lifecycle Marketing Manager to join our Lifecycle & CRM Marketing team. In this role, you'll build and optimize campaigns that engage, retain, and grow Chime members across their lifecycle — from acquisition through long-term retention — with a focus on member experience, revenue, and LTV. This is a role for a hands-on marketer who thinks beyond the send. You'll work across email, push, in-app, and SMS, building campaigns grounded in member behavior and lifecycle signals. You'll partner with data, analytics, and cross-functional teams on segmentation, experimentation, and personalization — and you bring genuine enthusiasm for how AI tools are changing what's possible in lifecycle marketing. This is a growth role for someone early in their career who has already shown they can execute and is hungry to build toward strategy. You move fast, ask good questions, and care about the member experience in everything you do. If you're curious, driven, and love working in a fast-paced environment alongside people who care about the product and the member, we want to meet you. What you'll do Build and manage lifecycle campaigns across email, push, in-app, and SMS — from brief through launch and measurement Think in journeys, not just individual sends — you'll map member flows based on what they do, where they are in their lifecycle, and what they need next Develop audience segments that go beyond demographics and reflect where members actually are in their relationship with Chime Run experiments and come back with a clear point of view on what worked, what didn't, and what to do next Work closely with data and analytics partners to understand campaign performance and what member behavior is telling us Use AI tools in your day-to-day — for drafting, content variation, personalization logic, or finding efficiencies. Respect and apply channel best practices and consider channel health in building your strategy and programming: deliverability, frequency, compliance, and the overall member experience Collaborate and build strong cross-functional relationships with creative, product, and other stakeholders to align on goals and get campaigns out the door What we're looking for 2–4 years in lifecycle, CRM, or retention marketing with real campaign execution experience across at least one channel (email, push, in-app, or SMS) Hands-on experience with a marketing automation or CRM platform — Braze, Iterable, Klaviyo, or something similar Detail-oriented: quality of output is important to you and you understand how it affects the member experience Comfortable with data — you can read a dashboard, pull your own numbers, and figure out what the story is You use AI tools and have real enthusiasm for them; you've formed opinions from experimenting, not just reading about it Strong instincts about what makes a good (or bad) member experience, and you speak up about it Clear written and verbal communication — you can translate strategy into execution and results into a coherent point of view You move fast, you're curious, and you pick things up quickly #LI-AM1 #LI-Hybrid Below is the base salary offered for this role and level of experience. Who we are Samsara (NYSE: IOT) is the pioneer of the Connected Operations™ Cloud, which is a platform that enables organizations that depend on physical operations to harness Internet of Things (IoT) data to develop actionable insights and improve their operations. At Samsara, we are helping improve the safety, efficiency and sustainability of the physical operations that power our global economy. Representing more than 40% of global GDP, these industries are the infrastructure of our planet, including agriculture, construction, field services, transportation, and manufacturing — and we are excited to help digitally transform their operations at scale. Working at Samsara means you'll help define the future of physical operations and be on a team that's shaping an exciting array of product solutions, including Video-Based Safety, Vehicle Telematics, Apps and Driver Workflows, and Equipment Monitoring. As part of a recently public company, you'll have the autonomy and support to make an impact as we build for the long term. About this role: Samsara's cloud-connected sensor platform collects observations about the world in near real-time. Samsara builds an extensive set of products, including battery-powered, wireless sensors, Linux-based IoT gateways, and Internet-connected dashcams. These devices are the building blocks Samsara uses to construct enterprise solutions for a wide range of verticals, including commercial fleet management and industrial monitoring. Through a unique integration of sensor data such as GPS, acceleration, temperature, video, and more, we enable our customers to gain greater insights into operations, identify and eliminate inefficiencies, and react to alerts all in near real-time. As a Senior Embedded Software Engineer at Samsara, you will develop software that runs on millions of devices, deployed by our industrial and enterprise customers. You'll tackle challenges including evaluating and selecting hardware components, bringing up new hardware platforms and sensors, building systems to gather data and detect meaningful events, and structuring recorded data to allow efficient analysis across thousands of devices while providing deep insights into individual events. We use C for our MCU-based platforms, Golang for embedded applications on Linux-based gateways and backend services, Google protocol buffers to structure data, and various AWS technologies to process and store data. Experience with these exact technologies is not required. You should apply if: You want to impact the industries that run our world: Your efforts will result in real-world impact—helping to keep the lights on, get food into grocery stores, reduce emissions, and most importantly, ensure workers return home safely. You are the architect of your own career: If you put in the work, this role won't be your last at Samsara. We set up our employees for success and have built a culture that encourages rapid career development, countless opportunities to experiment and master your craft in a hyper growth environment. You're energized by our opportunity: The vision we have to digitize large sectors of the global economy requires your full focus and best efforts to bring forth creative, ambitious ideas for our customers. You want to be with the best: At Samsara, we win together, celebrate together and support each other. You will be surrounded by a high-caliber team that will encourage you to do your best. Click here to learn more about Samsara's cultural philosophy. In this role, you will: Shape the hardware, not just the code that runs on it. Sit in reviews with our electrical engineers and argue for the right SoC, amount of flash/RAM, and combination of sensors, then prove those choices out on prototypes that reach real customers in months, not years. Be the first person to make a new board do anything at all. Bring up new platforms and prototypes from virgin silicon: configure I/O, get SPI, I2C, UART, BLE talking, debug system init, validate the design, and turn unproven hardware into a product. Own the layers everything else depends on. Peripheral drivers, secure bootloaders, device firmware updates, as well as the core management layers like power and connectivity, that determine whether a device in the field quietly recovers on its own or becomes an RMA. Chase every microamp. Design protocols and hardware management for battery-powered sensors and gateways where the gap between good firmware and great firmware is measured in years of device life. Work with the people who ship the whole product. Partner with product, full-stack, mobile and quality engineers so the data your firmware produces arrives intact and useful as it lands in the hands of dispatchers, fleet managers, and technicians who depend on it every shift. Raise the bar for the engineers around you. At the Senior level, you are a force multiplier for your team. Through thoughtful designs, rigorous reviews, hands-on mentorship, and sound technical judgment, you help other engineers deliver better work. You lead by example, strengthen engineering practices, and connect technical decisions to customer and business outcomes. You bring clarity to ambiguous problems, act with intellectual honesty and urgency, and deliver high-quality solutions iteratively. What you bring 8+ years building firmware for resource-constrained systems , You have delivered reliable firmware where memory, processing power, energy and timing are all scarce, and you know how to measure, optimize and make deliberate trade-offs between them. You have led firmware development for several new products end to end. You have taken firmware from initial concept through architecture, technical implementation, validation, and product launch, providing hands-on technical leadership throughout. Substantial bare-metal and RTOS experience - Zephyr, FreeRTOS, or equivalent. You have made scheduling, memory and timing decisions. Mutexes and semaphores are everyday tools for you. You have brought up new boards. First power-on of unproven hardware, at the bench with the electrical engineer who drew it up, working out whether the bug is in your code, a library, the schematic, or the part itself. Fluency in the low-level interfaces - SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, ADC and the ability to debug the seam between hardware and software. Real bench instincts. The usage of an oscilloscope, network analyzer, or RF spectrum analyzer, is how you form a hypothesis, not what you reach for after the print statements run out. Senior-level scope. You have led work spanning hardware, firmware, cloud and quality from concept to shipped product. You have consistently driven consensus across teams. Cross-layer judgment. You can trace how a decision at the driver level surfaces in a customer's experience three layers up, and you make that trade-off on purpose. Fluency in C. You know what the compiler is doing, and you can read a linker map, a stack trace, or a corrupted heap without guessing. You write things down. Design docs, review comments and post-mortems that other engineers can actually act on. You ship fast without shipping badly. Comfortable iterating on customer feedback at speed, backed by automated testing and code you would be content to inherit. You use AI smartly. It's part of your every day work flow and multiplies your output without watering things down. What will set you apart BLE at depth - You understand what's going on down the PHY and can build orchestration for the system to use in a performant and power efficient way. Cellular IoT - LTE-M or NB-IoT modem integration, power state management, and the certification gauntlet (FCC, PTCRB, carrier approval). Securing embedded systems end to end - secure boot, firmware signing, cryptography, and key management that survives contact with manufacturing. OTA and device firmware update at fleet scale - A/B partitions, rollback, and the discipline of never bricking a device you cannot physically reach. You've been on the factory floor - You have an understanding of the processes behind the mass production and quality assurance of electronics. You have a track record of fixing production show stoppers. Automatically included at the end of external job posts: At Samsara, we welcome all. About the role Chime's Data Science & Machine Learning team builds the models, services, and platforms behind how millions of members manage and grow their financial lives. We're hiring a Staff AI/ML Engineer on our Lending and Cashflow team to lead the modeling behind cash flow underwriting and surface member insight: using members' transaction and deposit data to make fair, accurate credit decisions for people that traditional credit scores often miss. In this role, you'll build and deploy machine learning systems on some of the richest transactional and behavioral data in fintech, turning it into the credit decisions behind products like MyPay, Instant Loans, and SpotMe. This is a highly applied role: you'll own problems end to end, from framing the question through to a model running in production and moving a metric that matters, and you'll set the technical direction for how Chime underwrites with cash flow data. In this role, you can expect to Lead the design, training, and deployment of deep learning and classical ML underwriting models that turn members' transaction and cash flow data into credit decisions, from approval and line assignment to loss forecasting Take models from problem framing through to production — training, evaluation, deployment, monitoring, and iteration — and stay accountable for how they behave once they're live Design and improve the systems around the model: feature pipelines, batch and real-time inference, monitoring, and retraining Partner with Product, Engineering, Analytics, and Risk to turn ambiguous business problems into ML solutions, and to make sure the solution is the right one Connect model performance to member outcomes and business metrics, and use experimentation to prove impact Set the technical roadmap for Lending ML and raise the bar across the team through design reviews, mentorship, and shared standards for model development, validation, and governance Help identify where AI/ML creates measurable impact for members — and where a simpler answer is the better one To thrive in this role, you have A track record of leading the design and deployment of deep learning models in production, including multi-quarter initiatives that span teams, with a solid grasp of architecture choice, training dynamics, and evaluation, and the judgment to make model design choices Solid machine learning fundamentals: classical modeling, evaluation design, and knowing which metric actually answers the question in front of you Hands-on experience across the end-to-end ML lifecycle — training, experimentation, optimization, deployment, and monitoring Comfort with messy real-world data, including label definition, leakage, class imbalance, and train/serve skew Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch and distributed compute such as Spark or PySpark Working knowledge of modern ML infrastructure — AWS and tools such as SageMaker, Airflow, Kafka, Redis, and Snowflake — and an MLOps mindset for keeping production systems healthy The ability to operate independently in ambiguous environments, influence technical direction beyond your own team, and explain model decisions clearly to engineers, risk partners, and senior leaders Nice-to-have Experience in either of these is a plus: Credit or underwriting models, and familiarity with model governance, explainability, and fairness requirements, such as adverse action reason codes and fair lending testing Cash flow or alternative-data underwriting: building credit features from bank transaction data, such as income and expense detection, balance trends, and transaction categorization Deployed transformer models in production #LI-Onsite #LI-DA1 Below is the base salary offered for this role and level of experience. Full-time employees may also be eligible for bonus(es), competitive equity, and benefits. For commissioned roles, the base salary listed in this job description does not include incentive/variable pay. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience.
