A curious spirit and a thirst for knowledge; an eagerness for innovative ideas and cultures. We believe we can build anything together in an environment that frees you to do your best work. Our values: We make a positive impact. We aim for the stars. We care for each other. Impact of a Product Manager As a Product Manager at Upsun, you own a significant area of Upsun Cloud, our cloud application platform, and the outcomes it delivers for the developers who build on it. The team you join owns the platform's foundations: the API, the runtime, environments, and the reliability every application running on Upsun depends on. And because Upsun is the cloud application platform humans and robots love, much of what you build will be used by AI agents as much as by people. This is a hands-on, technically rich role that bridges product strategy and deep infrastructure understanding. You own the strategy and the roadmap for your area, working closely with engineering to define platform behavior, build scalable abstractions, and shape workflows that empower modern development teams. Throughout, you act as the key voice for the user, making sure everything we ship contributes meaningfully to an exceptional developer experience. What to expect Strategy and roadmap: Own the strategy, roadmap, and priorities for your area of Upsun Cloud, balancing established foundations with uncharted territory. Problem definition: Synthesize inputs from customers, support, sales, and engineering into clear problem statements, constructively testing underlying assumptions. Solution definition: Explore options with your team, weigh trade-offs, and land on the right scope. Ship small, iterate fast: Release in increments and shorten the loop between shipping and learning. Technical execution: Collaborate with engineering (especially infrastructure and systems teams) to deliver platform capabilities that are reliable, scalable, and developer-friendly. Design for humans and agents: Build with two audiences in mind—ensuring features, APIs, documentation, and error messages serve both people and AI agents. Customer and data authority: Connect with customers regularly, serve as an internal advocate for their needs, and define metrics that demonstrate value for users and the business. Influence across teams: Build alignment across engineering, design, Product Marketing, support, and leadership. Go-to-market: Partner with Product Marketing early so go-to-market strategy helps shape the product, not just the launch. What you bring Product management experience: Proven experience in product management owning a distinct product area, ideally focused on developer platforms, PaaS, or cloud infrastructure. Technical depth: Understanding of building, deploying, and running applications in the cloud, with the ability to collaborate closely with infrastructure engineers on multi-tenant architectures or distributed systems. Software development background: Familiarity with building software using languages such as Python, Ruby, JavaScript, PHP, Go, or Rust. CI/CD, containers & APIs: Hands-on experience or close collaboration with CI/CD workflows, Docker/OCI container technologies, and a clear vision for intuitive API design. AI fluency: Daily use of modern AI tools to research, draft, and prototype workflows, paired with a realistic understanding of where current tools and models fall short. Agentic development: A strong perspective on autonomous agent architecture and how agentic workflows are transforming modern software engineering. Navigating ambiguity: Comfort with turning unstructured problem spaces into clear strategies and taking thoughtful action even with incomplete information. Collaborative communication: Clear written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of listening, building consensus, and uniting teams around a shared vision. Data-informed decision making: Ability to seek out and evaluate data to guide decisions and track success. Bonus points for Enthusiasm for using and testing the platform capabilities you help build. Before the detail, here's the challenge you'd help us solve. We build the embodied intelligence that moves real vehicles safely, and the ecosystem a billion machines will run on in the future. Very few people in AI can say this. Every role here, whatever the team, plugs into that. Here's what this particular role covers. 🛠️ About our Engineering Teams Robot Software builds the on-vehicle software platform that Wayve's AI Driver runs on. Within it, the Experiment Platform team owns the systems that let our researchers develop driving models on the road: deploying models to vehicles, running experiments, and collecting the data that trains the next model. The team builds a portable development platform that connects to partner vehicles and brings Wayve's model development capabilities to them, including data collection, experiment control, telemetry and over-the-air updates. It is used across our own fleet and on pre-production vehicles with OEM partners in Europe and Japan, and is central to how Wayve adapts its AI Driver to new vehicles. You will lead a team of engineers based in London, working alongside the Runtime Platform, OS, Sensors and Platform Integration teams in Robot Software. 🧠 Your day-to-day You will lead the team's people, plans and partnerships. Most of your time goes to your engineers: regular 1:1s, clear expectations, feedback, performance and promotion cycles, and helping technical leads take on more scope. You will work with your tech leads on technical decisions, own the outcomes, and make sure the team responds well when issues come up in the field. You will maintain the team's mission, charter and twelve-month roadmap, turn them into quarterly and six-week plans, and keep delivery on track. You will be the team's main point of contact for partner engineering teams, programme managers, operations and OEM customers, and you will make it clear what the team owns. You will stay technically capable and aware of the team's work across the codebase. You will monitor the architecture, guide the team through technical blockers when needed, and engage with technical leaders in other teams at a technical level. 🧩 What you'll be working on: Growing the platform: Take the development platform from its first stable release to a product used across many vehicle types, with predictable releases and validation in CI and on HIL benches. Experiment control and fleet orchestration: Own model and controller download, the robot state machine, and over-the-air deployment of software, configuration and calibration. Self-serve experimentation: Make the platform self-serve, so research teams can run their own experiments on vehicles without waiting for platform changes. Scaling data collection: Onboard and event-based logging, data quality, and data offload over New vehicles and OEM integrations: Deploy the full platform on Wayve's next-generation vehicles, and support new OEM integrations through configuration rather than new releases. Building the operating model around the platform: Releases, support rota, on-call, metrics and observability. Building the team: Own hiring and onboarding, and grow the team as adoption of the platform expands. 🙌 You should apply if: You have managed software engineering teams, including hiring, coaching and performance management. You have owned a platform or product that other teams or customers relied on, and shipped it to devices in the field. You are technically capable, with hands-on experience in embedded Linux systems software (C++ or Python), and stay close enough to the code to review your team's work, guide architecture and help resolve technical blockers. You understand connected device fleets, such as vehicles, robots or IoT, including data logging and offload, over-the-air updates and observability. You are comfortable leading delivery across many stakeholders, including external partners, and can engage with other technical leaders as a technical peer. You care about operational reliability and release quality. Experience with autonomous vehicles or robotics, automotive ECUs (for example NVIDIA Jetson or DRIVE, QNX), Yocto, IPC middleware such as ROS 2 or DDS, or containerised workloads on embedded systems is desirable. 🌱 Not ticking every box? That's totally okay! If you're passionate about autonomy and keen to learn, we encourage you to apply even if you don't meet every requirement. More about Wayve: 🚀 Wayve is building the leading AI platform for autonomous driving. We are pioneering an end to end AI approach that enables vehicles to learn directly from real world experience, developing the ability to adapt, generalise and improve at scale. Instead of relying on hand coded rules or pre mapped environments, our AI Driver learns to drive by understanding the world around it. The result is technology that navigates complex urban environments with intelligence, precision and natural flow, unlocking meaningful advances in both safety and efficiency. We believe autonomy represents a once in a generation transformation in how people and goods move, comparable to the shift from horses to cars, and from human driven vehicles to intelligent machines. Our ambition is to make autonomy universal. Wayve's mapless and hardware agnostic AI platform integrates with global OEM partners, enabling continuous software evolution and unlocking advanced levels of automation from L2 plus through to L4 as our core AI model scales. In a race increasingly defined by intelligence and real world learning, Wayve is taking a distinct approach, building a generalisable driving intelligence that can power any vehicle, anywhere. By combining embodied AI with scalable deployment, we are creating technology that can be shaped to each OEM brand and driver experience, accelerating the transition to a safer, more intelligent future of mobility. How we work 💻- Locations & Flexible Working: Our main hubs are in London, Sunnyvale, Yokohama, Herzliya, Vancouver and Leonberg. We operate a hybrid working model that combines in-person collaboration in our dedicated office spaces with focused time working remotely. This gives our teams the connection and energy of working together, alongside the flexibility to do their best work in a way that fits their lives. This role is based in our London office. 🔍 The Interview Process: Our process is clear and respectful of your time: Initial call / recruiter screen (30 mins) Competency Interviews : leadership and management interview, and hiring manager interview; 2 hours total Deep-dive interviews : domain, systems design and code review interviews; 3 hours total Final interview : values alignment (30-45 mins) We'll always explain the format and work around your availability. What's in it for you (Location dependant): 💰 Salaries benchmarked against the market annually 📈 Meaningful equity, sharing in the ownership and long term success of Wayve ✈️ Relocation support and visa sponsorship where applicable ✅ Hybrid working, core hours and the chance to work hands on in vehicle workshops and labs 📚 Learning and development budgets with support for training, conferences and growth 🩺 Comprehensive benefits including health insurance, dental, enhanced maternity and paternity leave, retirement or pension where applicable, access to therapists, wellbeing partnerships, team socials and more A quick, honest note before you apply. Wayve is not a mature, fully-structured place with the playbook already written. Much of how we work is still being written, and if you join, you'll help write it. That suits people who want real ownership more than people who need a settled structure from day one. If that sounds like the kind of problem you want to spend your time on, we'd really like to hear from you. At Wayve we're committed to creating a diverse, fair and respectful culture that is inclusive of everyone based on their unique skills and perspectives, and regardless of sex, race, religion or belief, ethnic or national origin, disability, age, citizenship, marital, domestic or civil partnership status, sexual orientation, gender identity, veteran status, pregnancy or related condition (including breastfeeding) or any other basis as protected by applicable law. To learn more about what drives us, visit Values at Wayve DISCLAIMER: We will not ask about marriage or pregnancy, care responsibilities or disabilities in any of our job adverts or interviews. However, we do look to capture information about care responsibilities, and disabilities among other diversity information as part of an optional DEI Monitoring form to help us identify areas of improvement in our hiring process and ensure that the process is inclusive and non-discriminatory. Who we are Melotech is revolutionizing media and entertainment. We create art through technology for humans to enjoy. In just 24 months, our work has been heard, watched and loved for over 4 billion minutes worldwide. Founded by entrepreneur and investor Soheil Mirpour, we are backed by top VCs Cherry Ventures, Speedinvest and GFC, alongside world-class angels from firms such as Spotify, Blackstone and KKR. What you will do Melotech is scaling fast, and organic reach is one of the engines behind it. As Organic Growth Lead, you own that engine end to end: the creators, the formats, the trends and the numbers behind them. This is an organic growth role first, measured on how much reach every hour and every euro brings back. You work directly with our founders, our Growth Manager, product and data team. Your first job is to turn organic reach into a machine: find the creators and communities that move culture, turn what works into repeatable playbooks, and run more experiments in a week than most teams run in a quarter. On a typical day, your tasks may include: Creator network: finding and briefing creators at scale, from small accounts with loyal audiences to the ones that set trends, and keeping the ones that deliver Launches: getting our products in front of the communities where they can travel, at the right moment Trend spotting: catching formats and memes early and moving on them within days, not weeks Experiments: running many cheap tests every week, with clear rules for what wins and what gets killed, and turning the winners into playbooks the team can repeat New channels: finding places where attention is still cheap, from new communities to platforms nobody on the team is using yet Organic and paid together: working with our Growth Manager so organic winners get scaled with paid, and what paid learns feeds back into organic Measurement: knowing which number answers which question, for example what saves and shares tell you that views do not, and what each view really costs Tooling: building the trackers, scripts and automations you need, with platform data and AI tools as your daily coworkers Who you are We're looking for a hands-on organic operator who lives on the platforms, or a creative growth generalist who has made things travel. Either way, you have done it yourself, not through a team or an agency, and you can show the numbers. Typically, your profile will look like this: Interest: a strong interest in organic growth, creator marketing and social, ideally with hands-on experience from a startup, brand, app, creator agency or your own channels Breakouts you can show: you have made things go viral more than once, for a brand, an app or your own channels, and you can explain why it worked and what it cost Creator marketing at scale: you have run creator or UGC programs with many creators at once, negotiated the rates and written briefs that keep the content native; ideally you bring a network of creators, pages and managers Platform fluency: you know how TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts distribute content today, what makes a hook, and when a format is burning out Creativity with discipline: you come up with ideas nobody else would try, and then test them properly, with small budgets, kill rules and numbers Measurement: you track reach, engagement and cost per view in your own data, not in screenshots, and you judge every channel by what it brings back Data and tooling: you are fast in spreadsheets, ideally comfortable with SQL or Python, and you automate the boring parts with AI tools Pace: you thrive in a fast-paced and performance-oriented environment A big plus: you are or were a creator yourself, with a real following, and you're into media, entertainment, gaming or social What makes this exciting You own a lever the whole company feels. Every breakout you engineer shows up directly in how fast we can grow, at a fraction of what paid reach would cost. You're not a cog in the machine but the captain of your own ship, rewarded for performance and respected for leadership. Flat hierarchies mean that your voice matters, your ideas get implemented, and your impact is immediate. We pay competitive salaries and make you an owner of the business with equity. We work remotely to give you complete freedom over your life, while meeting regularly around the world for global offsites where we strategize, bond, and push boundaries together. What the process will look like We hire on a rolling basis. Earliest starting date is always ASAP. Once you begin our process, you can progress from start to offer within a week, depending on how quickly you can move through each stage: Initial interview: 30-minute introductory call, getting to know you Case interview: 90-minute case discussion, present and debate your skills Founder interview: 90-minute interview with our CEO, going deep on all topics Offer, contract signing and onboarding Note: As we are still in stealth, you will learn more about Melotech as you progress through the stages. By the end of the Founder interview, you will have a full grasp of our business and the details of your role. Find more English Speaking Jobs in Germany on Arbeitnow
