Adaptyv is building an automated lab that lets AI agents run biology experiments. We're entering the era of agentic science where AI models can now design novel proteins, propose hypotheses, and iterate on experimental results. But they can't run the experiments themselves - that's still a manual, months-long process. We're building the infrastructure that gives AI agents access to the physical world. We are one of the fastest growing biotech companies, trusted by leading biopharmas, frontier AI labs, and the techbio companies pushing the field forward. This is a rare chance to help advance some of the most important work happening in biotech today. Our automated lab is powered by a deep software + hardware stack: lab instruments worth millions of USD reverse-engineered into API-controllable hardware, dozens of devices orchestrated through complex workflows, full observability on everything that happens in the lab, processing pipelines for messy physical-world data, and AI systems that troubleshoot production results and accelerate assay development. We're growing rapidly and are hiring for talented people to scale and support the massive demand for AI-driven wet lab experimentation. About the Role We're looking for a hands-on scientist-engineer to help build our next-generation DNA synthesis platform, enabling high-throughput, cost-effective production of large and diverse DNA libraries. You'll work at the intersection of chemistry, materials science, bioengineering, and hardware development, designing and building prototypes, running experiments, and optimizing processes to turn new synthesis technologies into reliable, scalable production systems. DNA synthesis is a fundamental part of our protein engineering platform. We're developing new approaches to dramatically increase synthesis throughput while reducing cost and turnaround time. You'll work closely with our scientific and engineering teams to develop and prototype new DNA synthesis technologies. Your focus will be on translating scientific concepts into working hardware and experimental systems, designing and building prototypes, testing different approaches, and continuously improving their performance. This is a highly hands-on, interdisciplinary role combining experimental science with practical engineering. You'll take ownership of prototype development, experimental validation, and process optimization, helping move promising technologies from early concepts to reliable, scalable systems. We're looking for someone who enjoys building things, solving technical problems, and working across disciplines. You don't need to be an expert in DNA synthesis, but you should have strong scientific fundamentals, an engineering mindset, and experience turning ideas into working prototypes. What You'll Do Design, build, and test prototypes for next-generation DNA synthesis technologies. Translate scientific and technical requirements into practical engineering designs and experimental setups. Scope and evaluate different technical approaches, components, materials, and equipment for prototype development. Develop and optimize the chemistry, materials, and processes underlying the synthesis platform. Design and execute experiments to characterize performance, identify limitations, and improve reliability. Work closely with mechanical, electronics, software, and automation engineers to develop integrated experimental systems. Troubleshoot complex technical problems across chemistry, hardware, and process engineering. Develop analytical methods and quality control strategies to measure performance and guide optimization. Help scale successful prototypes into robust, reproducible systems suitable for routine production. Work with external suppliers and engineering partners to source components, evaluate technologies, and accelerate development. What We're Looking For A strong background in chemical engineering, chemistry, materials science, bioengineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field. Hands-on experience designing, building, and testing experimental setups, prototypes, or laboratory equipment. Strong understanding of chemistry, materials, or process engineering, with the ability to apply these fundamentals to practical engineering challenges. Experience developing and optimizing experimental processes, including systematic troubleshooting and performance characterization. Comfortable working across hardware and experimental science, translating scientific requirements into practical engineering solutions. Experience selecting components, evaluating technical trade-offs, and iterating on prototype designs. Strong experimental skills, including designing experiments, analyzing data, and making decisions based on results. Independent, resourceful, and comfortable working on open-ended technical problems. A practical, hands-on approach to engineering, with a focus on building, testing, and improving systems rather than purely theoretical development. Experience with DNA or oligonucleotide synthesis, including chemical or enzymatic approaches, is a plus. Experience with solid-phase synthesis, surface chemistry, or chemical process development is a plus. Familiarity with microfluidics, high-throughput dispensing, or array-based technologies is a plus. Experience with laboratory automation, instrumentation, or custom hardware development is a plus. Experience with CAD, electronics, fluidics, or mechanical prototyping is a plus. Experience scaling experimental technologies from proof of concept to production is a plus. Programming and data analysis experience, particularly in Python, is a plus. Details Location: Lausanne, Switzerland (on-site) Type: Full time Start date: ASAP Application deadline We are reviewing applicants on a rolling basis. From our headquarters on Zürich's Bahnhofstrasse, we're expanding globally, with a growing presence across Europe and North America. Join us and help make autonomous operations the new standard. About the role BLP only works when it talks to our customers' ERP systems. As an Integration Engineer, you build and own those connections and keep live integrations running for enterprise customers. A good understanding of purchase-to-pay data in Oracle ERPs: suppliers, purchase orders, receipts and supplier invoice matching. Solid programming skills in at least one backend language. We build our integrations in Go. If you come from Java, C#, Python or similar and are keen to pick up Go, that works for us. A degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience. A structured, self-reliant way of working, and ideally experience in a client-facing role. Fluent English. German is a plus, as most of our customers are in the DACH region. Nice to have: Experience with both cloud (Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, NetSuite) and on-premise (JD Edwards) environments, and the constraints of each (e.g., no direct database access in Fusion, governance limits in NetSuite). Extensive experience with SQL, common data formats (JSON, XML, CSV) and transports (REST/SOAP APIs, SFTP). Familiarity with modern engineering practices: Git, code reviews, automated testing and CI/CD. Integration experience with other ERPs, such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics or Infor. Integration Engineer or Senior Integration Engineer We hire at both levels. Four things decide where you start: years of experience, breadth of experience, coaching experience and scope. Integration Engineer Years: 2+ years of hands-on integration work, including Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, NetSuite or JD Edwards. Breadth: in-depth experience with one Oracle ERP and its interfaces. Coaching: you learn quickly from senior colleagues and share what you learn with the team. Scope: you deliver and maintain integrations and resolve issues independently, with guidance on architecture decisions. Senior Integration Engineer Years: 5+ years of hands-on integration work, several of them with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, NetSuite or JD Edwards. Breadth: integration experience across two or more of Fusion, NetSuite and JD Edwards, or across Oracle and other ERPs, in cloud and on-premise environments. Coaching: you have coached or mentored other engineers and help technical project managers grow. Scope: you own our Oracle integrations end to end, set technical direction and take on the most complex customer cases. Why BLP Real impact: your integrations decide whether a customer goes live. Breadth: Oracle, Infor, Microsoft Dynamics and many other ERPs, plus EDI and e-invoicing standards. Growth: fast-tracked growth, with promotions and a bonus scheme that includes company shares. Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century's most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril's family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years. ABOUT THE TEAM Anduril's global communications team is responsible for shaping how the world understands modern defense technology—and why it matters. We're seeking a Director of Communications, Europe, to build and lead Anduril's external communications presence across the continent. This is a senior individual contributor role based in Amsterdam, reporting to the VP of Global Communications, with a dotted line to Anduril's European General Manager. You will be Anduril's first dedicated communications hire in Europe, responsible for standing up a regional program from scratch, building relationships with media and institutions, and developing the narratives that will define Anduril's reputation across the world's most consequential defense markets. This is a builder role. You'll set strategy and execute it yourself, establish agency and contractor networks as the business grows, and work shoulder-to-shoulder with business development, policy, and senior leadership to earn Anduril a place in Europe's defense conversation. The ideal candidate has deep roots across multiple European markets, understands how defense, technology, and industrial policy intersect at the national level, and knows how to build presence and credibility in environments where trust is earned slowly and reputation matters enormously. WHAT YOU'LL DO Build Anduril's European communications program from the ground up, developing strategy, establishing infrastructure, and executing across markets with varying levels of maturity and priority. Drive media relations across defense, technology, business, and policy outlets in priority European markets, building the relationships and pipelines that will sustain long-term coverage. Develop and execute market-specific narrative strategies that connect Anduril's mission and capabilities to each country's defense priorities, industrial ambitions, and security context. Work closely with Anduril's European General Manager and business development teams to support market entry, customer engagement, partnerships, and key events. Build and manage a network of regional agencies and contractors as European operations expand. Partner with global communications, policy, and marketing teams to adapt core messaging for European audiences without losing coherence or accuracy. Engage think tanks, research institutions, and policy communities to build credibility and shape the broader discourse around defense innovation and allied cooperation. Own metrics and reporting frameworks to track progress and demonstrate impact across markets. QUALIFICATIONS 10+ years of experience in communications, public affairs, or media relations. Fluency in the European defense and political landscape across multiple countries, how decisions get made, who shapes opinion, and where the conversation is heading. A track record of building communications programs in new markets, not just inheriting them. Experience managing agencies, contractors, and regional communications networks across borders. Exceptional writing and strategic thinking, with the ability to develop narratives that land across cultures and audiences. Comfortable working autonomously in an early-stage market environment, with the judgment to make calls without a lot of process around you. You'll excel in this role if you: Have built something before, a market presence, a regional program, a communications function, and know what that actually requires. Can hold complexity: different countries, different threat perceptions, different industrial interests, all requiring distinct approaches under a coherent strategy. Know Europe's defense ecosystem personally, the journalists, the institutions, the officials who shape how these conversations evolve. Are energized by the moment Europe is in, and want to help shape how one of the most important defense technology companies in the world shows up in it. The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package. AV Industry Expert (German-speaking)

About us Rentman is a B2B SaaS scale-up building a smart, powerful operations management platform to support event and media production teams. Our users plan everything from small shoots to massive festivals in 70+ countries, and they all rely on Rentman to keep their gear, people, and timing perfectly in sync. We're based in Utrecht (NL) with a second office in Toronto (CA), and our 100+ team members work in a culture that's open, flat, and inclusive, where curiosity drives us, ownership matters, and everyone has the freedom to challenge ideas and make an impact. Check out our public roadmap to see what's coming next! Mission of this role The Netherlands is Rentman's biggest customer base, and DACH is our second-biggest. As a Rentman AV Industry Expert (German-speaking) on our Professional Services team, you make sure our German-speaking customers get the same excellent, hands-on support as everyone else. You are the solution expert who helps customers realize the full value of Rentman. You deliver paid trainings to existing customers that accelerate onboarding, boost account health, and broaden usage across teams. Everything comes from our standardized service catalogue: the offering is standard, the application is tailored to each customer. These services come on top of what every Rentman customer already gets free of charge: support, the support center, and for some a dedicated CSM. When you're not delivering customer trainings, you help the wider team stay useful year-round: you build standardized video trainings based on the most common questions coming out of our support center, and you're available to represent Rentman at customer events or trade shows in German-speaking markets. What you'll do Integrate Rentman knowledge with customer-centricity and commercial acumen to provide tailored training, in both German and English, that enhances customer usage, satisfaction, and professional services revenue. Deliver at least 60% of your time as direct, standardized-but-tailored training to customers, one-on-one or in groups. When you're not training customers, build standardized video trainings/webinars addressing the most common issues raised through our support center. Represent Rentman at customer-facing events or trade shows in German-speaking markets when needed. Always look for opportunities to expand and optimize our professional services and serve more customers in a standardized way. Maintain top-level knowledge of Rentman's functionality and industry challenges to advise customers effectively, and keep this knowledge current. Excel in administration and process efficiency to ensure internal processes (availability, booking, invoicing) run smoothly, and the customer journey is frictionless. Adopt a customer-friendly attitude and deliver high-quality training to ensure an optimal customer experience. What we are looking for Native or very fluent in German, and fluent in English. You're equally comfortable running a training in either language. You've worked inside the AV, production company, or event rental industry and know its workflows from the inside. This is what lets you speak credibly to customers about how they run their business, not just how the software works. You're curious about how customers actually get their work done and where the tool could serve them better. You take ownership of your pipeline and your numbers. You communicate clearly, both with customers and internally. You keep your training administration, scheduling, and invoicing organized so the customer journey stays frictionless. You can join us in the Utrecht office as this is a hybrid role. Nice to haves Experience training or onboarding customers on a SaaS platform. Familiarity with Rentman or similar equipment rental or event management software. Exposure to more than one segment, such as dry hire, staging, broadcast, or corporate AV. An existing network in the German/DACH AV and event industry. What you'll get Competitive salary based on experience, plus 8% holiday allowance A results-based bonus based on company performance (up to a full 13th month's salary) 25 vacation days to recharge Earn an extra day of PTO for each year at Rentman, from your second anniversary up to five years. A 4-week paid sabbatical after 5 years to go on an adventure Flexible WFH policy & work from anywhere for 4 weeks a year Pension plan through BrightPensioen An annual training budget to grow your skills Access to OpenUp for mental well-being and personal growth Your choice of a shiny new Windows, Linux, or Mac Stay active with the team: join the Rentman football team, squash and padel, plus a discounted Urban Sports membership An OV Business card if you live more than 10km from the office An ambitious, inclusive, and diverse international team A flexible, energizing workplace with free lunches, office perks (PS5, ping pong, D&D), legendary karaoke nights, and regular team activities An amazing office in the heart of Utrecht, in the historic Drift 17 Our process Here's a breakdown of our recruitment process to give you a clear idea: Introduction Call with the recruiter about the job & Rentman, online (30-45 mins) Past Experience & Culture Interview with the team, online or on-site (60 mins) A take-home assignment (max 120 mins) Final Skills Interview, on-site (60 mins) Apply now! For questions or additional information, contact us at At Rentman, we value diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
