Senior Financial Analyst - FP&A

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century's most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril's family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years. About the Team Anduril's UK operations are scaling rapidly, with a growing portfolio of defence technology programmes and an expanding international footprint across Europe and the Middle East. The Finance & Accounting team sits at the centre of this growth - partnering with programme teams, engineering, and business development to deliver financial rigour, while simultaneously building the regional finance infrastructure that will underpin Anduril's long-term international success. This is a new role created to bridge two critical requirements: hands-on programme finance across a live portfolio of contracted customer work, and the ground-up build of a regional finance capability that does not exist today. About the Job This role has two pillars, and the balance between them will flex with business demand. The first is programme finance. You will own the financial planning and analysis for a portfolio of contracted customer programmes and internal R&D activities within the Air Maneuver business line. This will include day-to-day forecasting, Estimate at Completion (EAC) maintenance, actuals analysis, variance reporting, bid pricing, and business case support across UK and European campaigns. The second is regional finance maturity. You will help build the internal management reporting process for the UK, Europe, and Middle East region from scratch - establishing KPIs, creating a monthly close cadence, producing performance narratives for leadership, and putting the systems, controls, and automation in place to make it repeatable and scalable. This is not a role where you inherit a playbook or sit within a large established team. You will be creating structure, defining processes, and shaping how finance operates in a fast-growing defence technology company. If you want ownership, breadth, and the chance to build something from nothing, this is it. What You Will Do Own day-to-day programme finance across a portfolio of contracted customer programmes - EAC maintenance, actuals analysis, variance narrative, and monthly financial reporting. Be an effective finance business partner to cross-functional programme teams. Build and maintain programme forecast models and support the divisional forecast cycle. Support financial activities for UK-specific IRAD (Internal Research & Development) programmes. Build and operate the regional internal management P&L reporting process from scratch, covering UK, Europe, and the Middle East. Establish the monthly close and associated reporting timetable. Define and maintain regional performance KPIs. Produce the first-draft performance narrative each period - actuals, risks, opportunities, and recommended actions - bringing P&L and balance sheet views together with base case, upside, and downside scenarios. Own the monthly data pulls from Foundry and Oracle EPM. Build the controls and automation that make the reporting cycle repeatable rather than manual. Reconcile management reporting back to the statutory ledger and document the process and its controls as it is built. Interface with international accounting managers on statutory, tax, and audit requirements. Support the UK leadership team and Global Defence & Growth Operations. Required Qualifications ACCA or CIMA qualified (or equivalent chartered qualification). 3+ years of post-qualified experience across a broad range of finance disciplines - not someone who has done the same narrow role repeatedly. Programme finance experience including percentage-of-completion (PoC) revenue recognition and Estimates at Completion (EACs). Experience setting up finance processes from scratch or materially redesigning how things are done. Advanced Excel and Power Query skills - you build data-connected models, not just spreadsheets. Familiarity with ERP systems, ideally Oracle. Strong PowerPoint skills for executive-level reporting and storytelling. Comfortable with AI tools and finding ways to automate manual work. SC clearance eligible (or willing to obtain). Right to work in the United Kingdom. Preferred Qualifications Aerospace and defence finance experience. Experience with programme finance including EAC management, PoC accounting, and IRAD cost tracking. Prior experience in a scaling or start-up environment where finance infrastructure was being built for the first time. Familiarity with Foundry or similar data platforms. Exposure to international or multi-region financial reporting. The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package. Additionally, Anduril offers top-tier benefits for full-time employees, including: Benefits At Anduril, we invest in our people. This newly created role sits within the Financial Reporting Team and will play a key part in helping the business achieve its objectives through providing financial reporting support to the business wherever it is needed, so we can deliver great outcomes at pace. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a technical mindset who is flexible, adaptable, and happy to roll up their sleeves. Reporting to the Associate Director of Finance Projects, you'll gain broad exposure to a wide variety of projects, requiring expertise across technical accounting, statutory reporting, taxation, finance transformation and data automation, treasury, securitisation and capital markets, and M&A activity. You'll collaborate with teams across the business, including senior management, so we're looking for a confident individual who can communicate effectively at all levels. With multiple projects running at any one time, you'll need to be well-organised, proactive, and adaptable. The right person will have a strong grounding in accounting — ideally with an audit background — and experience in financial services or fintech. About Notabene Notabene is building infrastructure that's transforming how money moves in the digital economy. We're evolving beyond our compliance foundations to enable the next generation of digital financial services between regulated institutions with unprecedented efficiency. With nearly 50 employees across 14 countries and having recently closed our Series B round last November with support from leading investors including Y Combinator, DRW, F-Prime, Jump Capital, Castle Island, and Green Visor Capital, we're looking for people like you to help shape the future rails of the crypto industry. Location: US-based, Remote East Coast The impact you will have Notabene is planning on going through its first external financial statement audit, covering the fiscal years ending January 2026 and January 2027. You will own that process. You will also own the close, the books, and the accounting policy for a two-entity, multi-currency business whose revenue includes subscription fees, usage-based transaction billing, and a payments network take rate that has no clean accounting precedent anywhere. The accounting function is already substantially built. Close runs, the books are in order, and readiness work for the audit is well underway. What we need is someone to own it, finish it, and take it through the audit, while raising the standard on policy and documentation as the business gets more complex. You will be the most senior accounting voice in the company, reporting to the VP of Finance, with one direct report and a set of external providers. You will not have a large team before late 2027, and that is deliberate. Capacity here comes from better systems and better automation, and you will be the one deciding what those look like. Within a year you are successful if Notabene has a clean audit opinion on both fiscal years, with no material weaknesses and no second cycle on auditor requests The close hits its calendar consistently, starting with the revenue close landing on time Revenue recognition is documented in a written memo that stands up in fieldwork, rather than living only in the billing system configuration Multi-entity consolidation and FX translation run cleanly enough to survive audit scrutiny, with intercompany and CTA tied and supported Payroll allocation across departments and software development capitalization are written policy applied consistently, not judgment applied after the fact Key accounting controls are documented, operating, and evidenced At least two accounting processes that are manual today run without a person in the loop, and still hold up under audit What you will be doing Audit. Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close across Notabene Inc. and Notabene GmbH. Produce GAAP financial statements, consolidations, intercompany eliminations, and FX translation under ASC 830. Technical accounting. Write the positions and the memos. ASC 606 across three revenue models, ASC 350-40 for internal-use software capitalization, ASC 718 for stock compensation expense, and whatever emerges as stablecoin payment revenue matures. Revenue and billing systems. Own Tabs as the billing and revenue system of record, including contract configuration, usage data integrity, and the bridge from Tabs to the general ledger. Controls. Design and implement controls over revenue, cash, procure to pay, and payroll. Not SOX. Controls that operate, are evidenced, and can be walked by an auditor. Automation. Evaluate the accounting stack and the processes running on it with a bias toward automation, including agentic tooling where work is rule-bound and high volume. Own US tax compliance in coordination with our external advisers, including the income tax provision and sales tax. Coordinate Swiss compliance with our local accountants. External providers. We produce revenue in-house, our Swiss accountants produce their piece, and our outsourced firm assembles the close. 💬 Accurx is solving healthcare productivity for the NHS. For decades, the NHS has struggled with fragmented systems that make simple tasks feel impossible. At Accurx, we're changing that by building a single, system-wide platform that helps every patient get gold-standard, efficient, and joined-up care. What started as a way for GPs to text a patient has now evolved into an all-in-one digital toolkit used by 98% of GP practices. Our platform now powers Total Triage to manage patient demand, and Self-Book , which lets patients schedule their own appointments in seconds. We've automated routine care with Patient Questionnaires for long-term conditions, while Accumail finally allows staff-to-staff communication to happen instantly across different care settings. We're now pushing the boundaries of the consultation itself with Accurx Scribe , our AI-powered note-taker that drafts medical notes in real-time. We're not just shipping features. We're giving clinicians their time back and ensuring every patient journey is as smooth as it should be. The challenges you'll solve as our Interim Head of Finance Our finance function continues to evolve, and we are looking for a driven finance leader to step in for a 12-month maternity cover, to keep our momentum going and materially upgrade how finance supports our commercial teams. You will run the core finance engine to a high standard, while taking this window of opportunity to raise the bar on commercial reporting, providing real margin insight, and ensuring finance has a genuine seat at the table in commercial decision-making. Elevating the finance function: Moving beyond just keeping the lights on to fundamentally changing what "good" looks like for us and raising the bar in our reporting capability. Driving trading insights: Developing core trading metrics and improving the speed, quality, and usefulness of commercial reporting to give leadership clear visibility of progress and risk. Running the core engine: Overseeing all accounting, financial operations, treasury, and compliance, while managing the annual audit, budget, and quarterly forecasts. Commercial business partnering: Acting as the lead finance partner to the commercial team by embedding yourself in planning and influencing decisions, rather than just reporting on them after the fact. Margin and cost optimisation: Owning key trading initiatives focused on margin improvement Automating for the future: Working alongside our data team to automate reporting through our data infrastructure and transition away from a reliance on spreadsheets. Team leadership: Managing and guiding an established, high-performing team of two direct reports (FP&A Manager and Finance Ops Manager), helping them increase their business impact. You should apply if... You have proven experience operating autonomously at a Finance Director, Head of Finance, or senior FP&A level, including line management of a finance team. P4rior experience in an interim role where you've left a high-performing function even better than you found it. You are a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent). You have a strong track record as a genuine business partner to commercial or trading functions, with specific examples of influencing decisions through financial insight. You have experience working within a mature-stage B2B SME, ideally in a fast-growing, PE/VC-backed business scaling between £30m and £200m. You are comfortable taking full ownership of the complete finance remit, spanning accounting, treasury, compliance, audit, and FP&A. You have experience collaborating with data teams to build, improve, and automate commercial reporting systems. Senior Software Engineer, Integrations
GivebutterLos Angeles, United States37 days ago
Full TimeOn-siteMid$170,000 - $185,000 / Year
phpdjangolaravelrailsci/cdsql+13

Company Description Givebutter is the most-loved nonprofit fundraising and CRM platform, empowering millions of changemakers to raise more, pay less, and give better. Nonprofits use Givebutter to replace multiple tools so they can launch fundraisers and events, use donation forms and donor management (CRM), send emails and text blasts—all in one place. Use of the Givebutter platform is completely free with a 100% transparent tip-or-fee model. Givebutter has been certified as a Great Place to Work® every year since 2021, and is the #1 rated nonprofit software company on G2 across multiple categories. Our mission is to empower the changemaker in all of us. We believe giving should be fun, so you'll want to do it again, and we also believe that work should be fun, so that you'll have the greatest impact. We are excited to hear from talented people who want to work with other talented people in making the world a butter place—and have fun along the way. Role Description Givebutter is hiring a Senior Software Engineer, Integrations, to join our Growth pod. Nonprofits live inside dozens of tools they already love: CRMs, accounting, volunteer platforms, AI assistants. This role decides how well Givebutter meets them there. You'll shape our public API into something builders and their AI agents actually want to reach for, and hold the partner surfaces we care about most as they grow with us. Most of this work happens in the space between two systems: reading partner docs, spiking to see what breaks, sitting on calls with external engineers, closing the ambiguity that turns "maybe we could" into "here's how." Why join the Givebutter Engineering team? Democracy of code. We value equal contributions from all engineers and foster an environment of open discussion on architecture and ideas. Autonomy in work. We keep meetings to a minimum. Engineers have the freedom to manage their own calendars and block out uninterrupted time for focused work. Automated CI/CD. Our build and deployment processes are fully automated and hands-off, allowing engineers to focus on problem-solving through code. Mission-driven, full stop. You'll be working with inspiring nonprofits, charities, and organizations that are making a positive impact around the world. Peer ownership of production surfaces. You'll take an integration or an API surface and hold it, cycle over cycle, as sales, success, and product shape it further. AI-native workflow. We use terminal-based agents (Claude Code and similar) daily. We review what they hand us. You'll have opinions about your setup, and we'll want to hear them. We Want To Hear From People Who… Read someone else's API docs carefully, and know why the choices in them matter Care as much about the person calling the API as the person writing it Know that a good integration keeps a nonprofit inside the tools they already love, instead of dragging them into ours Spike, learn what breaks, and turn that into an engineering conversation without needing a project manager to translate Get on a call with a partner engineer and come out with less ambiguity than you started Take your development setup seriously (terminal, editor, agent) and have probably built one or two custom skills to make them work harder Responsibilities Own one or more of our partner integration surfaces end-to-end, and hold them coherent as sales, success, and product shape them further Shape our public API as its audience grows to include AI agents building on behalf of nonprofits who don't code themselves Spike, prototype, and de-risk new partnerships, including the ones we don't yet know how to build, and the ones that only ship because someone had an aha moment Design and defend API contracts, webhook shapes, and data flows that other engineers (and other agents) will build against for years Partner with an existing integrations lead on the surfaces they hold today, and grow into shared ownership over time Partner with Product, Growth, Marketing, and occasionally an external partner engineer, as a natural translator between what each group needs Requirements 4+ years shipping production backend services, ideally on a modern web framework Strong proficiency in PHP / Laravel, or the kind of adjacent framework fluency that ramps quickly (we won't rule you out for having lived in Rails, Django, or Spring) Deep familiarity with REST API design, HTTP semantics, and the patterns that make an API worth building against Solid SQL, MySQL specifically or comfortable enough with another relational database to speak to the trade-offs you've made Experience building against real-world third-party APIs, not just the pristine documented examples Comfortable designing async job workflows, queued work, and observable failure paths Strong instincts around OAuth, webhooks, and the trust-boundary decisions that keep a public API safe and honest Active use of terminal-based AI development tools (Claude Code, Cursor, or similar) with a clear review discipline for what the agent produces Experience contributing to on-call rotation for production services Comfortable navigating an existing monorepo (ours is real, and PHP / Laravel is most of the backend) Nice to have Contributions to a public API you helped design (bonus if it survived a v2) You've built your own AI tooling, custom skills, or agent workflows, not just used the defaults Familiarity with the emerging surface where AI agents consume APIs on behalf of end users, and opinions about what a legible API looks like to a non-human caller You have opinions about the difference between a specification and an implementation (OAuth 1 vs 2, JSON:API vs REST, GraphQL and what came after: any of it, all of it) Nonprofit or mission-driven experience More about Givebutter Benefits Remote Work: Work remotely from one of our 10 hubs (Austin, Denver, Indianapolis, Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Salt Lake City, Minneapolis, Seattle, and Nashville).
