EggAI · Full-time · Remote (EU only) The Role You will lead a small, highly-skilled remote team of engineers designing and shipping production-grade agentic AI systems. Working directly with enterprise clients, you will validate where AI can create value, redesign business processes, and own the resulting system from early experiments through adoption and measurable results. Across these environments, you will learn from recurring production failure modes and have the latitude to choose the models, tools, and architecture to solve the business problem. Alongside client delivery, you will turn successful approaches into shared assets that strengthen future engagements. Those contributions will shape EggAI's engineering culture and give you broad influence over how we work. This is a hands-on leadership role. You will write production code, set technical direction, develop engineers through example, review, feedback, and coaching, and guide senior client stakeholders through difficult decisions. This is a remote position. We only accept candidates located in the EU. What You'll Own Act as a trusted technical counterpart to client teams throughout the engagement, helping them make sound decisions and create lasting capability as you: Discover: Validate business opportunities against AI capabilities and constraints, and identify new opportunities enabled by the technology. Design: Own solution design and system architecture across agents, tools, data, evaluations, controls, human oversight, and deterministic boundaries. Build: Personally implement the system's critical agents, integrations, evaluation infrastructure, permissions, observability, controls, and feedback loops. Deliver: Lead the team and client from implementation through adoption, owning engineering quality and production readiness while establishing a clear delivery rhythm and engineering accountability across the project team. Compound: Package successful work as tools, datasets, evaluations, patterns, and engineering methods. What We're Looking For A sustained record of exceptional technical leadership that generated real business impact, including experience leading small engineering teams. Experience designing, shipping, and operating production-grade AI systems, with practical judgment across architecture, context, tools, evaluation, observability, production controls, reliability, and cost. A demonstrated ability to keep pace with advances in AI, test what matters, and change working methods when new capabilities prove substantive, evidenced by advanced use of agentic AI in day-to-day work. Repeated ownership of difficult stakeholder environments and the judgment to connect technical decisions to business value, user needs, risk, and organizational change. Excellent communication skills across engineering, product, and business stakeholders. Strong coding skills and the ability to write and review production-grade code in languages such as Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, or similar. A strong engineering foundation and the first-principles judgment to understand what established practices protect and how those protections should be implemented in AI-native systems. Strong statistical and experimental judgment, including the ability to create the instrumentation, annotation, review, and feedback loops needed to learn from uncertain AI behaviour and improve systems over time. Additional strengths Experience operating AI systems in security-sensitive or regulated environments. (FEQ128R42) The Role You will be the technical leader and lead architect for one of Databricks' most strategic global customers: a health technology company whose diagnostic, therapy, connected-care and consumer health products reach hundreds of millions of people every year. You will own the technical relationship and the Data + AI vision for a single complex enterprise that spans multiple business units, regions and regulatory regimes. The account is a large, Azure-first Data Intelligence Platform customer. It runs a portfolio of well over a hundred use cases across business units and global functions, delivered as a multi-year program in quarterly releases. You will set the technical direction for that program and turn it into an executable roadmap. You will work as one team with the Account Executive and a dedicated pod of Solutions Architects, specialists, Professional Services and partners. We are looking for a visionary who can see where Data + AI will take health technology, explain that clearly to executives and engineers alike, and bring a large, distributed group of people with them! The Impact You Will Have Own and drive the technical vision Define the customer's enterprise Data + AI vision with CxO and VP stakeholders, tied directly to business priorities. Be the executive suite's trusted advisor on platform strategy, build-vs-buy, responsible AI and regulated-industry governance. Show, don't tell: inspire CTOs, chief architects and engineering leaders with working examples, and build prototypes yourself when it matters. Lead the account pod technically: set direction for Solutions Architects, Specialist and Delivery SAs, Professional Services and partners, and coach them to raise the bar. Partner with the Account Executive on account strategy and consumption planning, owning technical strategy and path to value for every major initiative. Align pre-sales, delivery and partners so the customer sees one Databricks team, one plan and one escalation path, local to global. Lead discovery and solution design for strategic, high-risk deployments, driving each to production and measurable outcomes. Build lasting C-level, VP and Director relationships across IT, data & AI, R&D, Quality & Regulatory, Service, Operations and the business units. Be the customer's voice internally, shaping Databricks product and go-to-market strategy with field insight while leading the account's largest modernisation programs Scale GenAI and agentic AI from pilot to production across business units. Build partner ecosystem relationships (GSIs, ISVs, hyperscalers) to scale delivery. Create reusable IP (reference designs, accelerators, talks, blogs) for the wider Databricks health and life sciences community. What We Look For (Note: it is not expected that you "tick every box" below and encourage you to apply if you are meeting several of the key criteria and can demonstrate a strong ability to transfer skills and develop quickly in the role!) Proven record as lead technical figure on a large global enterprise account, or as enterprise/chief architect at a similar organisation, owning the vision over multiple years. Experience leading virtual teams without direct authority: setting direction, coaching senior architects and aligning specialists, delivery and partners on one plan. Thrives with high autonomy in ambiguous, high-stakes, multi-region, multi-business-unit environments. Excellent communicator, from boardroom to engineering floor, with clear written thinking. Technical depth 10+ years in data engineering, analytics, ML or AI architecture, with significant customer-facing technical leadership (pre-sales, consulting or enterprise architecture). Deep, hands-on expertise in modern data and AI platforms; Apache Spark, Delta Lake and Databricks experience is a strong plus. Experience designing: Large-scale data platforms and migrations from legacy warehouses, Hadoop or other clouds Enterprise governance and security models Production ML, MLOps, GenAI and agent systems Proven ability to win platform decisions against hyperscaler-native and competing platforms on architecture, cost and governance. Proficient in Python and SQL; able to prototype quickly, including with AI-assisted development. Domain knowledge Experience in health technology, medical devices, life sciences or another regulated industry, and a passion for improving patient outcomes with Data + AI. Working knowledge of MedTech and medical AI regulation: EU MDR/IVDR FDA SaMD and Predetermined Change Control Plans ISO 13485, IEC 62304 and ISO 14971 EU AI Act requirements for high-risk medical AI Understanding of privacy and data-sharing regimes (GDPR, HIPAA, European Health Data Space). Signal Processing & Data Engineer
Full TimeOn-siteMid$6,240 - $6,240 / Year
pythonrustci/cddata engineeringgitelectrical engineering+1

Who We Are Limatica measures what batteries whisper. We turn the tiny voltage noise of battery cells into a quality verdict, far faster than conventional tests, and help cell manufacturers cut scrap. We are a team of twelve in Chemnitz and Munich, spanning data, ML, HPC, hardware and industrialization. Early adopters across Europe and Asia already use our technology. In 2026 we move from pilots to production lines, and our data grows faster than our team. What You'll Do Our measurement stations produce several hundred GB of high-resolution voltage data per hour. You own the step from raw signal to reliable answer. Work with novel cell noise data: Derive features from raw time series that make physical sense that hold up in production Build for streaming: Design feature computations that work in streaming mode, at a throughput of up to 10,000 measurements per hour. Make throughput a design decision: Build modular, parameterizable nodes for our distributed processing pipeline and help bring them into our Rust-based production environment. Ship modules, not scripts: Automate evaluations end to end, from raw data to reports for our engineering team and our customers. Own customer projects technically: Assess requirements, communicate interim results and findings, and turn feedback into improvements. What You Bring Measurement experience: A degree in electrical engineering (or comparable) and 3+ years with real-world measurement data. Sampling, noise, filtering and artifacts you know from practice, not just lectures. Physical intuition: You can explain why a feature makes sense, and you prefer a simple, well-understood method over a model nobody can explain. Data at scale: You think in throughput: data formats, intermediate results, distributed and cached processing. Clean engineering: Python, Git, tests and CI/CD as a matter of course. No Rust expertise needed, but the will to learn it. Customer confidence: Fluent German and English, written and spoken. You explain results clearly to engineers and managers alike. Why Limatica Real ownership: Your own part of the pipeline and your first customer project within months. As we grow, this role can grow into technical lead. Learn what few get to learn: Electrochemistry, Rust in production and data engineering at scale, with real cells and international manufacturers. Share the upside: Salary package including virtual stock options. Invest in yourself: Additional holiday for personal learning Flexibility & wellbeing: Flexible hours, hybrid work, further benefits via Guud Card and free beverages What it's like here: You get a lot of trust and a lot of room to shape things. We look for people who stay with a problem until it's solved and who enjoy the moments when a customer launch needs the whole team. Those are the moments where people here grow fastest. This role is intentionally a towards-senior position. You will take on increasing responsibility for pipeline modules and customer projects. Those who help shape the architecture and lead projects independently grow into a senior role with us. Ready to find the signal in the noise? Let's build the future of battery diagnostics together. ⚡ Find more English Speaking Jobs in Germany on Arbeitnow
