PlaidLondon Office, Germany11 days ago

We believe that the way people interact with their finances will drastically improve in the next few years. We're dedicated to empowering this transformation by building the tools and experiences that thousands of developers use to create their own products. Plaid powers the tools millions of people rely on to live a healthier financial life. We work with thousands of companies like Venmo, SoFi, several of the Fortune 500, and many of the largest banks to make it easy for people to connect their financial accounts to the apps and services they want to use. Plaid's network covers 12,000 financial institutions across the US, Canada, UK and Europe. Founded in 2013, the company is headquartered in San Francisco with offices in New York, Seattle, Washington D.C., Raleigh, London, and Amsterdam. Client Engineering is the technical arm of Plaid's European GTM team. We own our customers' technical outcomes: designing the right solution, getting it built and live, and keeping it healthy as they grow. We work with the most technically forward companies in European financial services – fintechs, lenders, and payments and wealth platforms – helping them build on payment initiation, account data, verification, and underwriting across UK Open Banking and PSD2. As a Sales Engineer for Plaid Europe, you'll be a technical lead across the region's sales team, partnering with 5–6 Account Executives from the first technical conversation through proof of concept to signature. You'll run technical discovery, design solutions, and demo and prove Plaid's products to engineers and commercial buyers, making sure every customer's architectural decisions set them up for long-term success on the platform. You'll also help build the Sales Engineering function in Europe, from the demo environments, sample apps, discovery frameworks, and integration playbooks the team sells with, to feeding what you hear from customers back into Plaid's roadmap. Responsibilities Serve as technical lead on active opportunities across Startup, Mid-Market, and Enterprise accounts, partnering with Account Executives throughout the sales cycle. Run technical discovery and map customer requirements to Plaid's products and integration patterns. Deliver tailored demonstrations and own proof-of-concept engagements, including hands-on debugging with customer engineers. Design integration architectures and validate the approach in sandbox with the customer's engineers before signature. Respond to technical, security, and regulatory questionnaires and RFPs. Build and maintain reusable selling assets for European use cases and competitive positioning. Translate customer and prospect feedback into structured product insight for Product and Engineering. Raise the technical fluency of the sales team through enablement and deal reviews. Qualifications 4+ years in a customer-facing technical role, such as sales engineering, solutions, implementation, or customer engineering, ideally at an API platform. Hands-on understanding of APIs and web and mobile integration, including REST, OAuth, webhooks, JSON, and SDKs, with the ability to build and debug a demo in JavaScript, Python, or similar. Experience working in, or selling to, fintech or financial services in the UK or EU. Ability to move between deep technical conversations and business value conversations with different audiences. A consultative approach, strong customer empathy, and clear communication skills. A self-starter who's comfortable building in a growing region with a globally distributed team. Willingness and ability to travel across the UK and Europe up to 25% of the time. Nice-to-Haves Knowledge of open banking, including UK Open Banking, PSD2/PSD3, AIS/PIS, and VRP. Domain depth in payments, identity verification, or credit and underwriting. A formal technical background or prior software engineering experience. Fluency in a second European language. Our mission at Plaid is to unlock financial freedom for everyone. To support that mission, we seek to build a diverse team of driven individuals who care deeply about making the financial ecosystem more equitable. We recognize that strong qualifications can come from both prior work experiences and lived experiences. We encourage you to apply to a role even if your experience doesn't fully match the job description. We are always looking for team members that will bring something unique to Plaid! Solutions Architect
Zelara.aiBerlin, Germany11 days ago
Full TimeOn-siteMid
goarchitecturehubspotklaviyocrmsalesforce+4

About Zelara Most CRM marketing still blasts generic messages at scale and calls it "personalization." Our founders experienced this firsthand in senior roles at HelloFresh, Salesforce, Uber, and others. Backed by top-tier VCs, they decided to build a better way. Zelara is an agentic lifecycle marketing platform that improves with every interaction. It works with the CRM infrastructure our customers already use, replacing static journeys and manual segmentation with a system that creates content, makes individual-level decisions, and learns from every outcome. With bunq, Europe's second-largest neobank, we delivered +7.4% activation and +66% reactivation uplift, measured against a control group. We raised a €3M pre-seed and are generating revenue with paying enterprise customers. We are growing our Solutions Architecture team to make the path from integration to measurable value repeatable across more customers. The Role This is a deeply technical customer role centered on post-sales value realization, with involvement in pre-sales discovery. It is not reactive customer success, nor a pre-sales role that hands off at signature. You own technical value realization for a portfolio of customers, from discovery and onboarding through live experiments, measured results, and scaled adoption. You and the commercial lead run each account as a pair. They own pricing, contracts, expansion, and renewal. You own the technical plan and the evidence behind those decisions: before signature you lead technical discovery alongside them, after signature you are the customer's named technical lead for solution design, data mapping, the experiment plan, and go-live. There is no separate customer success manager; the two of you hold the whole relationship. Product, Engineering, and Science own the platform, the integrations, and the measurement standards. You turn their work into a working customer solution and bring them in when a requirement crosses those lines. Our customers are mid-market and enterprise B2C companies across Europe: fintech, e-commerce, travel, and employee benefits. What You Will Do Lead technical discovery before signature: how the customer makes money, which metric moves it, and what the pilot can credibly promise Own onboarding: align stakeholders, define the data mapping and acceptance criteria, and take the customer live on its existing CRM stack Design and pre-register each experiment to Zelara's scientific standards, because a success bar set after seeing the data is not a result Own the customer-facing readout: reconcile our analysis with the customer's data, and say clearly when the evidence is not decision-ready Enable the customer's team to run campaigns independently Partner with the commercial lead on annual contracts, expansion, and renewal Drive the product loop: turn recurring customer needs into product opportunities and research questions, backed by evidence from live accounts, and use agents to build the scripts and prototypes that unblock an account in the meantime Your First 90 Days 30 Days: Learn the platform and the portfolio, join the active accounts, and take over your first technical customer relationship. 60 Days: Lead one onboarding independently, with the integration, experiment design, and measurement plan agreed before launch. 90 Days: Own a small portfolio and deliver your first evidence-backed results readout. Who You Are You have led deployments, implementations, or technical accounts for mid-market or enterprise customers at a B2B SaaS company, and your work has influenced adoption, renewal, or expansion. You judge a customer's business before you design for it: which metric their leadership is held to, and what matters that nobody has said out loud. You have led real customer integrations and know that a successful import is not the same as usable data. You turn a business question into an analysis plan and understand experiments: control groups, effect sizes, statistical power, and why the design is frozen before it runs. You know the lifecycle marketing stack (Braze, Bird, Iterable, Klaviyo, Customer.io , Emarsys, HubSpot) and how a CRM team works inside it. You are credible with a Head of CRM and their data engineer in the same hour. You say the uncomfortable thing early, and a commitment with a date on it is a commitment. You are AI-native. A software engineering background is not required, but building with agents is: the script that reshapes a customer's export, the prototype that shows a CRM team what we mean. You are fluent in English. German is a strong advantage given our current market focus. Bonus You have run lifecycle or CRM programs in-house, so you know what we ask a customer's team to change. You have experience with experimentation platforms, bandits, or applied ML in production. You have converted pilots or POCs into multi-year contracts and can say what moved the decision. How We Work We are an AI-first team. We adopt what makes us faster and drop what does not, and we value evidence, speed, and clear ownership over process theater. What We Offer Work alongside founders who have built and sold an AI-driven SaaS business and led large-scale B2C operations from the customer's side of the table. A senior individual-contributor role in a small Solutions Architecture team, with real influence on how we deliver. Autonomy over onboarding, pilots, and technical value realization, and a tight working relationship with Product, Science, and Engineering. Direct access to real customers and real production data. Based in Berlin, with regular travel to European customers. A competitive salary and a meaningful equity stake. Your choice of a Deutschlandticket or bike subscription, plus a gym membership. Our Compass We are guided by four core values: Seek Truth: We ground decisions in evidence. When the facts change, we change our mind. Act with Integrity: We build trust through transparency, reliability, and ownership. Put Customers First: We succeed only when they succeed. Find more English Speaking Jobs in Germany on Arbeitnow

About the role WPP Enterprise Solutions in Amsterdam is the central hub for SEO and GEO expertise across the WPP network. From our team, we work with major national and international organisations on complex challenges across search, websites, digital platforms and AI-driven discovery. Our team currently consists of ten SEO and GEO specialists and is growing rapidly. We are therefore looking for a Senior Technical SEO Specialist to strengthen our technical capabilities. This is explicitly not a traditional SEO role with some technical SEO added on top. We are looking for someone who approaches SEO from a technical perspective. Someone who understands how websites, platforms, JavaScript frameworks, crawlers, rendering, APIs and search engines interact, and who can independently investigate and solve complex technical problems. You are comfortable working with SEO specialists, developers, solution architects, product teams and other technical stakeholders. You are able to go deep into the technology when needed, while also translating complex findings into clear priorities, recommendations and implementations for enterprise clients. What you will do As a Senior Technical SEO Specialist, you will be responsible for the technical quality and scalability of our SEO solutions. You will work on complex websites and digital ecosystems where standard SEO checklists are simply not enough. Your responsibilities will include: Conducting advanced technical SEO audits for large and complex websites, platforms and international domain structures. Analysing crawling, indexing and rendering to identify the root causes of technical SEO and indexation issues. Working with modern JavaScript frameworks and rendering architectures, including SSR, CSR, SSG and hybrid rendering. Analysing HTML, JavaScript, HTTP requests, response headers, status codes, redirects, canonicalisation and robots directives. Investigating and optimising crawl architecture, internal linking and information architecture for websites with hundreds of thousands or millions of URLs. Advising on complex technical challenges involving migrations, replatforming, URL structures, faceted navigation, pagination, internationalisation and hreflang. Performing log file analysis to understand how Googlebot and other crawlers interact with websites and to improve crawl efficiency. Developing scripts, tooling and automation that make recurring analyses faster, more reliable and more scalable. Reviewing technical solutions, specifications and implementations from an SEO perspective before they go live. Working closely with developers and engineering teams to translate SEO recommendations into clear technical requirements and tickets. The technical expertise we are looking for For this role, we are looking for someone whose technical capabilities go well beyond using standard SEO tools. You have a strong understanding of: HTML, CSS and JavaScript, and can independently analyse source code and identify technical issues. HTTP and web architecture, including requests and responses, status codes, caching, redirects, headers and CDN behaviour. JavaScript SEO and the implications of client-side and server-side rendering for crawling, rendering and indexing. Technical concepts such as SSR, CSR, SSG, hydration and dynamic rendering. Crawling and indexing, and how search engines technically process websites. txt, XML sitemaps, canonical tags, meta robots, X-Robots-Tag and other crawling and indexing directives. Structured data and Schema.org. Core Web Vitals and web performance. International websites, hreflang and complex multi-market architectures. Website and platform migrations. Crawl budget and scalable website architectures. You do not need to be a software engineer in every area. However, we do expect you to be comfortable reading code, manipulating data, working with APIs and building scripts or technical solutions when needed. What seniority means to us Being senior means more than being able to independently deliver a technical SEO audit. We expect you to be able to break down complex technical problems where there is no obvious answer. You combine experience, data and technical knowledge to define your own investigative approach and develop solutions that can realistically scale within enterprise organisations. You will also: Proactively improve the way we work, using tooling and AI to increase efficiency, quality and impact. Make significant improvements to our SEO guidelines, workflows and processes. Develop innovative solutions to complex SEO challenges, including algorithm changes, large-scale site architecture, crawling and automation. Build frameworks, templates, scripts and automations that can be adopted across multiple clients and projects. Independently develop new approaches for challenges where no standard solution exists. What you'll need: 10+ years of experience in Technical SEO, with a strong track record of solving complex technical SEO challenges for large-scale, international and/or enterprise websites. Currently based in the Netherlands and able to work from our WPP office in Amsterdam. Deep technical knowledge of how modern websites are built, crawled, rendered and indexed, including strong expertise in HTML, JavaScript, HTTP, web architecture and rendering technologies. Strong experience working with l arge and complex website architectures, including crawling and indexation, faceted navigation, internationalisation, migrations, internal linking and crawl budget optimisation.
