Every day, millions of consumers engage with businesses in physical locations - retailers, restaurants, gyms, convenience stores, hospitality venues, and more. While digital advertising has transformed online experiences, most physical businesses are only beginning to modernize how they engage customers and monetize their in-store media. Rockbot brings music, TV, digital signage, and advertising together into a single, integrated solution to meet that moment. Our customers aren't simply evaluating software - they're determining how to build retail media networks, monetize in-store audiences, and modernize the customer experience across hundreds or even thousands of locations. Many are still defining what success looks like, and they're looking for a strategic partner to help shape that vision - not just another vendor. Whether the conversation begins as an open exploration or a formal RFP, this role requires someone who can guide customers with insight, curiosity, and credibility. The best people in this role don't lead with products - they lead with questions. They know how to uncover business challenges, build executive alignment, navigate complex organizations, and design solutions that create measurable value. They earn trust through insight, not presentations, and they leave every customer conversation with a deeper understanding of the customer's business than when they walked in. What Success Looks Like Success in this role isn't measured only by closing deals - it's measured by becoming the trusted advisor who helps enterprise customers navigate a genuine transformation in how they use physical space to connect with customers. Build Strategic Partnerships Develop executive relationships with Rockbot's largest prospective customers, positioning Rockbot as a long-term strategic partner rather than a vendor. Navigate Complex Organizations Understand how large, multi-location enterprises make decisions, and build a clear picture of who influences them. Build relationships across Marketing, Media, Operations, IT, Store Experience, Merchandising, Procurement, Finance, and Executive Leadership. Create thoughtful account maps that identify decision-makers, champions, influencers, and blockers - and use them to plan how to penetrate the account. Lead Consultative, Solution-Oriented Discovery Understand customer business objectives before proposing a solution. Ask better questions, challenge assumptions, and surface opportunities customers haven't yet considered. Translate business objectives into strategic solutions that improve customer experience, unlock new revenue streams, modernize in-store communications, and create measurable business outcomes using Rockbot's platform - rather than pitching individual products. Lead Complex Enterprise Buying Journeys Lead strategic enterprise opportunities from first conversation through deployment and expansion, owning the outcome even as the work spans many teams. Know when and how to bring in the right internal experts - Product, Advertising, Customer Success, Implementation, Engineering, and Operations - while maintaining ownership of the customer relationship throughout. Orchestrate cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless experience for the customer, from initial engagement to deal closure and beyond. Drive Expansion and Long-Term Value Look beyond the initial deployment to develop long-term account strategies that identify opportunities for expansion across locations, new revenue streams, and additional business outcomes. Build and maintain trusted relationships with customers operating large-scale, multi-location businesses, serving as their long-term strategic partner as their needs evolve. Who Will Thrive Here This role is built for someone who thinks like a consultant and operates like an owner - someone who is: Solution-oriented - energized by solving customer business problems, not just running product demos. A natural relationship-builder - comfortable navigating complex organizations and building trust with stakeholders at every level, from front-line teams to the C-suite. Autonomous and accountable - confident operating with significant ownership and ambiguity while creating alignment across internal teams and customer stakeholders. An exceptional communicator - able to craft compelling business narratives that build consensus and drive decisions. Curious and eager to learn - excited to quickly develop expertise in Rockbot's platform, including hardware, installation, and technical capabilities, even without prior experience. What You Bring: We value strategic, solution-oriented selling above any single industry or enterprise SaaS pedigree. Candidates from media, advertising, retail media, customer experience, or other relationship-driven industries are just as welcome as those from traditional enterprise software. 10+ years of experience selling complex, multi-product or solution-based offerings into large, multi-location organizations across retail, restaurants, hospitality, convenience, grocery, or similar industries. A proven track record of closing six- and seven-figure deals while navigating long, complex, multi-stakeholder buying journeys. Strong account planning and stakeholder orchestration skills, with the ability to map, penetrate, and influence complex buying organizations. Experience leading cross-functional deal teams and orchestrating enterprise opportunities from initial engagement through close. Executive presence and exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships at the C-suite level. Experience in OOH, DOOH, retail media, digital media, advertising, or customer experience technology is highly valued; deep traditional enterprise SaaS experience is not required. The technical curiosity and aptitude to quickly learn hardware, installation, and platform functionality through prior experience or on-the-job learning. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a data-driven approach to evaluating opportunities and improving sales outcomes. About Flexport: At Flexport, we believe global trade can move the human race forward. That's why it's our mission to make global commerce so easy there will be more of it. We're shaping the future of a $10T industry with solutions powered by innovative technology and exceptional people. Today, companies of all sizes—from emerging brands to Fortune 500s—use Flexport technology to move more than $19B of merchandise across 112 countries a year. The recent global supply chain crisis has put Flexport center stage as we continue to play a pivotal role in how goods move around the world. We are proud to have the support of the best investors in the game who believe in our mission, solutions and people. Ready to tackle global challenges that impact business, society, and the environment? Come join us. Hundreds of engineers and thousands of freight operators around the world rely on Flexport's internal systems every single day to keep billions of dollars of freight moving. Keeping those systems — and the people who use them — secure is not a compliance checkbox. It's the core infrastructure for a company operating across 112 countries. The PSI (Platform, Security & Infrastructure) team is looking for a Senior Security Engineer to own the security of Flexport's corporate environment: endpoints, identity systems, internal networks, and the SaaS estate. This is a security engineering role, not an IT support role, and not a role where you write policies and hope for the best. You'll build, automate, and be on the ground when things get real. What You'll Do Endpoint & SaaS security Own and mature our endpoint security stack (EDR) across macOS and Windows fleets , writing device policy as code — configuration profiles, remediation scripts, and enforcement rules — with staged rollout and rollback built in. Own security configuration and monitoring for Flexport's critical SaaS applications (Google Workspace, Slack, and similar) through SSPM tooling, catching risky OAuth grants and configuration drift before they become incidents. Access management Drive Flexport's identity posture: SSO coverage, phishing-resistant MFA and passkey rollout, SCIM lifecycle automation, and least-privilege access across the SaaS and cloud estate. Lead Flexport's zero-trust journey — making sure the right people have the right access, with the right controls, verified continuously. Detection & response Build and tune detection rules in our SIEM , turning signal into actionable alerts, not noise. Lead incident response for security events: triage, contain, remediate, and write the retrospective. Vulnerability & risk management Run regular assessments of corporate endpoints and prioritize findings by real business risk. Manage vendor and third-party security reviews , working with procurement and legal to evaluate risk before it lands in our environment. Security enablement & leadership Partner with IT, Engineering, and People teams to embed security into the way we work without creating friction that drives people to workarounds. Develop and maintain runbooks, playbooks, and internal documentation that make the whole team more capable, and mentor engineers earlier in their career. Bring a point of view on how agentic AI tools and browser-based AI assistants change what corporate security needs to watch for . You Should Have Typically 5–8 years of experience in enterprise security, corporate IT security, or information security engineering — we care more about what you've built than the exact number. If you meet most of this, apply. Strong working knowledge of endpoint security tooling: DLP (Cyberhaven, Purview, Varonis, or similar) and EDR (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, or similar). Practical SIEM experience , writing detection logic, triaging alerts, and reducing false positive noise. Experience leading or playing a significant role in security incident response. Working knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure). Nice to Have Experience with network security in a cloud-first environment (ZTNA, SASE, DNS filtering). Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform) for security configuration management. Familiarity with SCIM, OIDC, and fine-grained authorization at scale. Experience working in a high-growth, global technology company. Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar, for automating detection, response, and operational tasks. Exposure to privacy regulations relevant to a European and global context (GDPR, etc.). How We Work We come to the office 3 times a week to hang out, whiteboard, and ship together. We have the latest hardware and software, including frontier AI models on day one. We're agile, but not dogmatic. Teams decide how they work best. Why This Role Is Special Broad ownership: you're not a cog in a large security org — you own the corporate security posture end to end, from endpoints to observability to incident response. Real stakes: Flexport operates in 112 countries with a global workforce. Security here matters at a genuine scale. Build, don't just operate: we want to automate and engineer our way to a stronger posture, not just run playbooks. You're part of PSI: the platform, security, and infrastructure teams work hand in hand at Flexport. We value engineering quality and treat security as infrastructure, not just policy. We sponsor visas for the right candidate. What's in it for you An opportunity to contribute to one of the fastest-growing companies, where you'll have the chance to create a global impact while being part of a thriving multinational environment.
