Technical Project Manager (Efector Development)
Full TimeOn-siteMid
manufacturingavionicspropulsionproject managementschedulingprocurement+1

As Destinus scales its vehicle programmes, we are looking for a dedicated Technical Project Manager to own execution across the full vehicle development stack – from propulsion and structures through avionics integration, ground support equipment, and qualification. This frees our engineers to focus on technical depth and our team leads on strategic leadership. As one of the first hires in this group, you will manage a programme and help build the PM structure itself alongside team leads and fellow TPMs. You own execution – schedule, cross-disciplinary coordination, risk, and delivery. The engineers run the technical depth; you run the programme. What You'll Do · Own end-to-end execution of vehicle-level and subsystem product development programmes – from kick-off through hardware build, test campaigns, qualification, and delivery · Build and maintain programme plans spanning propulsion, structures, avionics, systems engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and regulatory dependencies; identify and resolve critical path risks early · Run programme reviews and cross-functional coordination meetings; keep decisions documented and actions closed · Work closely with engineering leads across disciplines to track technical progress and translate it into clear programme status · Coordinate system integration activities – ensuring interfaces between subsystems (propulsion, structures, avionics, GSE) are managed, dependencies tracked, and integration milestones owned · Manage external dependencies: supplier lead times, test facility scheduling, regulatory submissions, and customer milestones · Proactively flag scope creep, resource conflicts, and schedule risk to leadership – with options, not just problems · Contribute to building the PM structure, tools, and ways of working for the department alongside team leads and fellow TPMs Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in aerospace, mechanical, systems, or a related engineering discipline · 5–8 years in a hardware-heavy development environment; at least 2 in a project management, programme coordination, or technical lead role – career PMs without hardware exposure will not be considered · Background in aerospace, defence, or a similarly regulated hardware domain; familiarity with vehicle-level or system-level development and qualification cycles is essential · Experience managing cross-disciplinary programmes spanning multiple engineering domains (structures, propulsion, avionics, or similar) is a strong advantage · Able to manage multiple concurrent projects across engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and testing · Strong systems thinking – able to see the full picture, spot where the hard problems are likely to sit, and know when to dive into detail without losing the overall programme · Strong planning skills – able to build a programme schedule from scratch, identify critical path, and keep it current · Comfortable building structure in an ambiguous environment; pragmatic over bureaucratic · Clear, direct communicator in English; German is an advantage Find Jobs in Switzerland on Arbeitnow

About Airwallex Airwallex is the AI-native financial operating system for a real-time, intelligent economy. More than 675,000 businesses, including McLaren Racing, Qantas, SHEIN, and TikTok, use us, directly or through our platform partners, to run their financial operations or build and monetize financial products of their own. We started in Melbourne in 2015 to build the infrastructure global commerce runs on. We're the regulated backbone behind global payments: not by accident, but by design. A decade plus, 85+ licenses, and a financial infrastructure spanning North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific. We're co-headquartered in San Francisco and Singapore, with more than 2,300 people across 27 offices. We hire builders with founder-level energy, people who move fast with good judgment, dig in with real curiosity, and make calls from first principles rather than waiting to be told what to do. Read our operating principles to see it in full. About the Team The Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) team at Airwallex is a strategically vital function operating under a clear Three Lines of Defence model. As the independent second line, FCC owns the global AML/CTF programme, sanctions framework, risk assessment methodology, and governance infrastructure across all global entities. As Airwallex scales into new markets and deepens its engagement with global regulatory bodies, we are building a world-class compliance organization capable of managing complex financial crime risks at scale. This is an environment where you will tackle high-impact challenges, shape global fintech risk strategies, and help establish foundations for long-term growth. What you'll do As Senior Associate, FCC Monitoring & Testing, EMEA you will shape and scale Airwallex's global financial crime compliance monitoring and testing framework, establishing a rigorous, data-driven second-line assurance function. You will independently validate the design and operating effectiveness of AML, Sanctions, and KYC/KYB controls across all production environments and establish a monitoring framework and associated metrics to support executive decisioning and ongoing maintenance of program and control operating effectiveness. You will work closely with the broader FCC organization, Product, Engineering, Operations, and regional leadership to turn testing insights into operational accountability, robust remediation, and a defensible compliance posture before global regulators and institutional banking partners. This role covers the EMEA region and is based remotely in Birmingham. In this role, you will be a key part of a global team, collaborating closely across regions to drive consistent FCC Monitoring & Testing standards. Responsibilities: Contribute to the strategic development, execution, and continuous evolution of Airwallex's Global FCC Monitoring & Testing Programme, establishing robust, risk-based testing methodologies and annual plans for independent second-line assurance. Design comprehensive testing frameworks to validate core compliance controls across customer onboarding, periodic reviews, sanctions screening, transaction monitoring, and regulatory reporting workflows, ensuring coverage keeps pace with product and market expansion. Oversee the ongoing FCC monitoring program for EMEA, including establishment of KPIs and operating effectiveness metrics. Advance the transition from traditional sample reviews toward continuous, data-enabled assurance by leveraging data analytics, system logs, and automated testing scripts to evaluate compliance control performance at the population level. Oversee the independent validation of system-encoded controls, including transaction monitoring thresholds, screening logic, and customer risk-rating models, ensuring systems function as intended without logic drift or hidden control gaps. Translate complex testing outcomes and thematic trends into clear, decision-useful reporting for executive leadership and governance forums, providing constructive challenge to stakeholders and tracking the root-cause remediation of control deficiencies. Represent the FCC monitoring and testing function during regulatory examinations, internal or external audits, and banking partner reviews, confidently defending testing methodologies and control evidence. Who you are We're looking for people who meet the minimum requirements for this role. The preferred qualifications are great to have, but are not mandatory. Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Law, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related quantitative/analytical discipline. CAMS certification or an ICA International Diploma in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (or equivalent professional credential). 7+ years of experience within FCC quality assurance, compliance monitoring, internal audit, or a related second/third-line control function inside a fintech, payments, or highly regulated banking environment. Strong technical knowledge of financial crime controls across transaction monitoring, sanctions/PEP screening, customer due diligence, and digital KYC/KYB workflows. Proven mastery of risk-based testing methodologies, including scoping, sampling, design and operating effectiveness assessments, issue writing, and remediation validation. A high-ownership, pragmatic approach, with excellent written communication and stakeholder management skills to challenge senior partners constructively and drive operational accountability. Preferred qualifications: Advanced degree such as an MBA, Master's in Regulatory Compliance, Risk Management, or a related field. Professional assurance or audit certifications such as CAMS-Audit, CISA, or CIA. Strong fintech and platforms experience, including exposure to cloud-native, API-driven, high-growth global environments with significant cross-border transaction volume. Strong data literacy, including comfort using SQL, Python, BI dashboards, or automated tools to support continuous control validation and population-based testing. Experience partnering directly with Product, Data Science, and Engineering teams to validate automated rules, model-driven controls, and rapid deployments within an agile product lifecycle. Applicant Safety Policy: Fraud and Third-Party Recruiters To protect you from recruitment scams, please be aware that Airwallex will not ask for bank details, sensitive ID numbers (i.e. passport), or any form of payment during the application or interview process. About Pelico Traditional industrial manufacturing systems were built for predictability. Supply chains no longer are. Today, real-time data is buried in legacy tools that weren't designed for constant disruption. By the time an issue surfaces, it has already snowballed, sending everyone into firefighting mode. Pelico exists to close the gap between production plans and the daily reality on the factory floor. We've built the manufacturing orchestration platform trusted by the world's most complex industrial operations : companies like Airbus, Boeing, Safran, Eaton, and Cartier. Our AI connects fragmented supply chain, production, and quality data into a single live operational picture — then puts AI agents to work anticipating disruptions, simulating recovery options, and keeping every team aligned before small problems become expensive ones. Founded in 2019 and backed by General Catalyst, 83North, and Serena, we've raised $72M and are growing fast — 300% year-over-year revenue growth, deployed in 15+ countries, and supporting factories worldwide. We're headquartered in Paris, with offices in Miami, London and Amsterdam, and we're just getting started. This is a rare chance to join a company that's redefining an industry that hasn't been disrupted in decades — from the inside. What You'll Do Shape the talent strategy for EMEA Build our EMEA recruiting strategy from the ground up: the processes, playbooks, and operating rhythm that let us scale hiring with quality. Raise talent quality and density: define what great looks like for each role, coach hiring managers on how to spot and hire the right people, and track quality of hire. Partner with People leadership on a data-driven talent strategy, using funnel metrics and market insights to forecast needs and influence hiring decisions. Create our EMEA employer brand strategy, from job sites and career page to school partnerships and events, with a great candidate experience at every step. Stay hands-on: recruit every day Own full-cycle recruiting from kickoff through offer acceptance, with a focus on tech roles and support on select business hires. Run creative, outbound-first sourcing and build talent pipelines before needs become urgent. Advise hiring managers on candidate profiles, interview design, and calibration. Build a TA function powered by AI Embed AI across sourcing, market research, candidate engagement, and recruiting operations, and keep testing new ways of working. Set up the tools and ATS (Ashby) that let the team scale. About You AI-powered and innovative You design recruiting processes where AI does the heavy lifting, and you know when to automate and when to keep the human touch. You're resourceful and curious, and you bring ideas to the team rather than waiting to be asked. 6+ years of tech recruiting experience You have a proven track record hiring tech profiles (engineering, data, product) through full-cycle recruiting. You're comfortable as a generalist, hiring across functions and seniority levels as needs evolve. You're skilled at outbound sourcing and experienced with modern ATS platforms. Scale-up and agile mindset You've worked in a high-growth, fast-changing environment and love building from zero. You think like an owner, balancing speed with quality. You influence leaders with sound judgment and a genuine care for candidate experience. Nice to have International recruiting experience across multiple markets. Our quantum computing services are available through all major cloud providers, while we also meet the needs of networking and sensing customers across land, sea, air, and space. IonQ is making quantum platforms more accessible and impactful than ever before. Location: Oxford, England Travel: As needed Job ID: 1905 The Role: We are looking for a Technical Programme Manager to join the Quantum Systems Infrastructure (QSI) team at IonQ's Oxford office. QSI builds and runs the platform our next-generation quantum computers are built, tested, released and operated on, from bare metal in the lab to cloud, working across both Oxford and the US. Your mission is to run the machinery that keeps QSI's portfolio visible, planned and unblocked so engineers can engineer, leaders can lead, and the business always knows what is changing and why it matters. You will work very closely with the Technical Programme Managers in the Software and Science teams, ensuring our processes and workflows complement and integrate with their work, rather than duplicating effort. We run a centralised PMO operating model at IonQ which you will be a core part of though on a day to day basis you will work alongside the QSI team. As part of this model, this role will not make technical decisions, own engineering headcount, or define product but it will make the programme around those things run. Responsibilities : You will own programme execution across QSI's delivery streams, translating a leadership-visible roadmap into clear plans, measurable milestones and predictable delivery. You will create and run the operating rhythm that keeps teams aligned and leaders informed. When priorities shift, you will implement structure to that ambiguity, clarifying scope, coordinating trade-offs and pushing problems to resolution. Key responsibilities include: Owning programme execution across QSI's delivery streams: one planning rhythm, one backlog discipline, ensuring dependencies and risks surfaced early and chased to resolution. Running the roadmap-to-delivery link: keeping the roadmap, Jira and reality agreeing with each other, and making slippage visible early. Owning the programme ceremonies and the design of the workflows behind them (day-to-day stand-ups are run by the engineering managers). Working hand-in-hand with the Software and Science TPMs: shared or integrated processes wherever teams interact, and no duplicated ceremonies, boards or reporting. Coordinating across teams - Continuing Engineering (US), the PMO, product and science teams - serving as QSI's cross-functional programme liaison. Establishing programme cadences and reporting (changelogs, demos, leadership summaries etc) in plain English that non-infrastructure stakeholders can read and trust. Running the intake and triage process so requests reach the right stream with the right priority, without engineers being interrupt-driven. Requirements: We're looking for a technically fluent Programme Manager who brings structure, pace and clarity to a fast-moving infrastructure organisation. You will be comfortable working in a deeply technical environment, working daily with platform and systems engineers, while translating progress, risks and trade-offs into clear reporting senior stakeholders can trust. You will thrive in ambiguity and an organisation where you are able to drive change. You do not just coordinate: you unblock teams, keep plans honest, and raise the bar on how programmes are run. You will have prior experience tunning technical programmes across multiple engineering teams, ideally in infrastructure, platform or systems engineering environments. You should be fluent with modern programme tooling, such as Jira, Confluence and GitHub, and have the judgement to keep process lightweight. You'd be a great fit with: Experience harmonising ways of working across sibling teams or departments, integrating processes rather than multiplying them. Strong, plain-English communication and the ability to make infrastructure work legible to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously across sites and time zones in a fast-paced, changing environment. A chase-without-nagging, escalate-without-drama working style, and a clear sense of the difference between a risk and a noise. Additional experience would be beneficial, such as a background in hardware-adjacent software (labs, manufacturing, robotics, scientific instruments), exposure to regulated or government-customer delivery, or agile coaching / scrum mastery experience. Working knowledge of quantum computing concepts would be a plus though is not essential. Benefits: Be part of a team that's shaping the future of quantum. We offer more than just a role, you'll join a world class community of scientists, engineers and innovators working to unlock the full potential of quantum computing. We offer a range of benefits, including opportunities to further your career alongside industry leaders, a competitive salary with IonQ stock options, an annual performance bonus, generous annual leave, flexible hybrid working, private medical and dental insurance for you and your family, and much more. Join us and be part of the future of quantum computing. We're proud to be an equal opportunity employer and welcome applicants from all backgrounds. Compensation will vary based on individual factors such as education, qualifications, and experience of the final candidate(s), specific office location, and calibration against relevant market data and internal team equity. Posted base salary figures are subject to change as new market data becomes available. Our benefits include comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans, matching 401(k), unlimited PTO and paid holidays, parental/adoption leave, legal insurance, and a home technology stipend. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided when a candidate receives an offer of employment. At IonQ, we believe in fair treatment, access, opportunity, and advancement for all while striving to identify and eliminate barriers. We empower employees to thrive by fostering a culture of autonomy, productivity, and respect. We are dedicated to creating an environment where individuals can feel welcomed, respected, supported, and valued. We are committed to equity and justice. We welcome different voices and viewpoints and do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, ancestry, physical and/or mental disability, medical condition, genetic information, marital status, sex, gender, gender identity, gender expression, transgender status, age, sexual orientation, military or veteran status, or any other basis protected by law. We are proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity employer. US Technical Jobs. The position you are applying for will require access to technology that is subject to U.S. export control and government contract restrictions. Employment with IonQ is contingent on either verifying "U.S. Person" (e.g., U.S. citizen, U.S. national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum) status for export controls and government contracts work, obtaining any necessary license, and/or confirming the availability of a license exception under U.S. export controls. Please note that in the absence of confirming you are a U.S. Person for export control and government contracts work purposes, IonQ may choose not to apply for a license or decline to use a license exception (if available) for you to access export-controlled technology that may require authorization, and similarly, you may not qualify for government contracts work that requires U.S. Persons, and IonQ may decline to proceed with your application on those bases alone. Chapter Lead AI Engineering (f/m/d)
VestigasMünchen (Hybrid), Germany (Hybrid)17 days ago
Full TimeHybridLead
pythonazureterraformmachine learningmlopsscrum+4

We're digitizing the construction industry – are you in? At VESTIGAS, you build the digital backbone of the construction supply chain. We turn purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices into a digital, legally compliant platform used in everyday operations by construction companies and suppliers. You'll work on a product with real market traction in the DACH mid-market, ship iteratively, and take ownership of solutions that must work in the field – not just in theory. Your Role As Chapter Lead AI Engineering, you'll own the AI infrastructure and capabilities that power our supply chain platform end to end – from pipeline design to production deployment. You bring experience in technical leadership and take responsibility for the AI engineering chapter across Scrum teams, shaping architecture, aligning technical standards, and enabling engineers to build dependable AI systems. This is a hands-on technical leadership role. The Technical Challenge Your chapter will tackle problems like extracting structured data reliably from many different documents, building uncertainty estimation so the system knows when to flag a document for human review instead of silently guessing, and automatically reconciling purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices against each other – all within legal and compliance requirements that leave no room for "close enough". This is a domain where clean benchmark metrics mean far less than robustness against real documents nobody has seen before – and you'll set the technical direction for how the chapter navigates that trade-off, deciding where to push automation further and where human review still matters. Agentic AI systems that plan, use tools, and act on their own are an increasingly important part of this work as well. Your Mission Provide technical leadership for the AI engineering chapter, own its technical direction and strengthen shared engineering practices across Scrum teams Own MLOps processes and infrastructure, ensuring our AI systems are reliable, scalable, and secure Drive the design and implementation of advanced AI features, partner closely with engineering and product leadership to deploy machine learning models and data pipelines Set the bar for accuracy, efficiency, and uncertainty estimation of our AI features through rigorous testing practices Ensure the scalability, maintainability, and core functionality of our AI solutions – and drive the build of new ones from scratch Translate customer needs into technical priorities and represent AI engineering in strategic product and sales discussions Establish and evolve engineering standards, tooling, and quality practices across the chapter Mentor fellow AI engineers through technical feedback, pairing, and knowledge sharing Champion the use of modern AI tools such as Claude or Cursor across the chapter Your Profile Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; alternatively, an equivalent education You have at least five years of AI engineering experience, including one year of technical leadership, with practical responsibility spanning the AI lifecycle and MLOps Demonstrated ownership of technical decisions, with the ability to align engineers across teams and mentor peers Hands-on expertise in natural language processing and image processing Strong Python skills and experience with Azure; Terraform experience is a plus A passion for generative AI, OCR, and building customer-focused solutions A habit of writing clean, well-tested code with an eye on what happens after deployment Solid understanding of AI agents, tools, and their limitations Fluent English and German (C1 or above) Willingness to work from our Munich office at least two days a week Your Benefits Real ownership instead of micromanagement. You shape, you decide, and you see the impact of your work directly in the market. Direct line to founders and leadership. Flat hierarchies are our everyday reality – short paths, fast decisions. AI-First workflow. Copilot, Claude, Cursor & co. are standard tools for us. We expect and support their use. Hybrid work with an office in the heart of Munich, just around the corner from Theresienwiese. Flexible setup with regular office presence – because we believe the best ideas happen in person. EGYM Wellpass or BahnCard, corporate benefits, team events, annual offsites. Fair, competitive compensation. Find more English Speaking Jobs in Germany on Arbeitnow
