At Graviton, we don't believe the best trading strategies come from following established playbooks. They come from asking better questions. Why does a pattern exist? What is driving it? Is it real or just noise? Can it be explained, modelled and turned into an edge? As a Quantitative Researcher, you'll work on those questions every day. You'll investigate market behaviour, develop quantitative models, build and test hypotheses and turn insights into trading strategies, working alongside researchers and technologists in an environment where an idea on a whiteboard can reach live trading quickly. This isn't a role where the answers are in a textbook. The problems are open-ended, the data is enormous, and finding the answers is the job. Ideal candidates are rigorous thinkers who genuinely enjoy mathematics, programming and figuring out things that aren't obvious, based in our Singapore, London, Amsterdam or US offices. What You'll Work On You'll work across quantitative research and systematic trading, taking ideas through the full lifecycle: question, hypothesis, experiment, model, validation, strategy, production. Depending on your team and research interests, your work would include: Discovering predictive patterns and sources of alpha from billions of market events Formulating hypotheses about market behaviour and designing experiments to test them Applying probability, statistics, optimization and machine learning to build predictive models and quantitative signals for systematic trading Designing robust backtests and statistical tests to distinguish genuine signals from noise Working with large and complex datasets to uncover patterns that aren't immediately visible Investigating market microstructure and how markets behave at different timescales Evaluating strategy performance, identifying weaknesses and continuously refining models Developing research infrastructure and AI-powered tools and agents that make experimentation faster and analysis deeper Working closely with technologists to translate research ideas into efficient, production-ready systems Exploring new techniques in machine learning, statistics and quantitative finance to uncover new sources of edge No two research problems are the same. Good research finds patterns. Great research understands why they exist. What Success Looks Like Successful researchers at Graviton discover new sources of alpha and turn them into robust trading strategies, build models that hold up under real market conditions and not only in backtests, develop a deep understanding of market behaviour, create research frameworks and tools that make the broader team more effective, work with technologists to take ideas from research into production, and communicate complex quantitative ideas clearly and rigorously. Your impact isn't measured by how many models you build. It's measured by the quality of the ideas you discover and what those ideas enable. Who We're Looking For We're looking for exceptional problem solvers who genuinely enjoy mathematics, programming and figuring out things that aren't obvious. Degree in a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, physics, computer science, statistics, operations research or machine learning No active backlogs Strong programming skills in Python and/or C++ Solid grounding in probability, statistics, linear algebra and optimization, with experience in machine learning, statistical modelling or data analysis, whether through coursework, research or personal projects Comfort working with large, complex datasets, and strong analytical thinking A passion for applying quantitative thinking and rigorous research to solve open-ended problems in markets Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas clearly Prior exposure to quantitative research, algorithmic trading, market microstructure, competitive mathematics or machine learning is valuable, but we care more about how you think than whether you've worked in finance before. Our Culture More than specific tools or techniques, we care how you think. We look for people who are curious enough to keep asking why, analytical enough to separate signal from noise, persistent enough to pursue difficult problems, intellectually honest enough to abandon an idea when the evidence says so, and humble enough to keep learning. At Graviton, researchers sit alongside technologists on specialized trading teams that operate with significant autonomy. You'll have meaningful ownership of research problems from day one: forming your own hypotheses, challenging existing approaches and following the evidence wherever it leads, with the infrastructure and datasets to test ideas at scale, competitive compensation, and a culture where the best idea wins regardless of who proposed it. Markets are among the most complex systems humans have ever created, and they never stop changing. Neither should our thinking. Every day, someone asks a better question and finds an answer nobody had. That someone could be you. Find more English Speaking Jobs in Netherlands on Arbeitnow

About Nebius: Nebius is leading a new era in cloud infrastructure for the global AI economy. We are building a full-stack AI cloud platform that supports developers and enterprises from data and model training through to production deployment, without the cost and complexity of building large in-house AI/ML infrastructure. Built by engineers, for engineers. From large-scale GPU orchestration to inference optimization, we own the hard problems across compute, storage, networking and applied AI. Listed on Nasdaq (NBIS) and headquartered in Amsterdam, we have a global footprint with R&D hubs across Europe, the UK, North America and Israel. Our team of 1,500+ includes hundreds of engineers with deep expertise across hardware, software and AI R&D. The Role: Nebius is looking for a Technical Program Manager to join our Capacity team and drive capacity expansion across our data centers. In this role, you will work at the inersection of data analysis, infrastructure engineering, procurement, data center operations, and product teams. You will analyze how cloud resources are consumed, forecast future demand, identify capacity risks, and coordinate infrastructure expansions — from identifying the need for additional capacity to making that capacity available to customers. The role covers several key cloud resources, including compute and storage capacity, ultimately translating demand forecasts into requirements for additional servers across our data centers. This is a hands-on, analytical role. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working with metrics and forecasts and can use data to make decisions, while also being able to coordinate complex cross-functional projects involving multiple engineering and business teams. Your responsibilities will include Analyze historical and current consumption of cloud resources and identify trends, anomalies, and potential capacity constraints. Build and maintain capacity forecasts for infrastructure resources and translate them into concrete capacity requirements across multiple data centers. Initiate capacity requests and work with Supply Chain teams throughout the purchasing and delivery process. Maintain a clear end-to-end view of capacity expansions, from forecast and capacity requirements through procurement, delivery, installation, deployment, and availability for customers. Coordinate expansion plans with data center teams, including installation schedules and infrastructure readiness. Coordinate with engineering teams to plan deployment of new capacity. Provide engineering, product, and business stakeholders with clear and reliable information about capacity plans, delivery timelines, current status, dependencies, and risks. We expect you to have: Have experience in technical project/program management, data analytics, capacity planning, infrastructure planning, or a similar role. Have a strong analytical background and be comfortable making decisions based on quantitative data. Understand basic statistical concepts and forecasting methods and know their practical limitations. Be comfortable communicating with infrastructure engineers and understanding technical constraints and dependencies. Be able to coordinate work across multiple independent teams without relying on direct authority. Have strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to translate technical and analytical information into clear plans, decisions, risks, and status updates for different audiences. Take ownership of outcomes: proactively identify upcoming problems, drive decisions, follow up on commitments, and ensure that issues do not disappear between teams. It would be a strong advantage if you have: Have worked as a data or product analyst before moving into project or program management. Can independently query data using SQL. Have hands-on experience with monitoring and BI tools such as Grafana, DataLens, or similar platforms. Have experience with capacity planning, demand forecasting, or infrastructure resource management. Understand the basic architecture of cloud or data center infrastructure, including servers, racks, compute, storage, networking, and their operational dependencies. Have experience working with procurement, hardware supply chains, or physical infrastructure deployments. Benefits & Perks: Competitive compensation Career growth and learning opportunities Flexibility and ownership Collaborative and innovative culture Opportunity to work on impactful AI projects International environment and talented teams What's it like to work at Nebius: Fast moving - Bold thinking - Constant growth - Meaningful impact - Trust and real ownership - Opportunity to shape the future of AI Equal Opportunity Statement: Nebius is an equal opportunity employer. About us Encord is the universal data layer for AI that helps 300+ AI teams train and run models on the right data. Our platform indexes, curates, annotates, and evaluates data across the full AI lifecycle, from development through production. Trusted by Woven by Toyota, AXA, UiPath, Zipline, and more. We're an ambitious team of 100+ working at the frontier of AI and have raised $60M in Series C funding from Wellington Management, CRV, Next47 and Y Combinator. The role We're hiring Technical Program Managers in London to run Encord's highest-stakes human data projects end to end — the work for frontier AI labs and physical AI companies, in specialist domains such as medical imaging and robotics, and the data types we are running for the first time. These are the projects where the technical complexity is highest and where a mistake is expensive. You will work at the point where machine learning requirements become annotation work: translating what a research team actually needs into workflows, standards and instructions that a specialist workforce can execute at volume, then holding the result to a measurable standard. This is the load-bearing role in the business, and it is a hands-on one. You will know your projects' annotation standards better than anyone at the company, teach them to the annotators producing the work, decide who works on what, judge who is performing and who should come off, resolve the edge cases nobody anticipated, and answer for the delivery timeline. You will run several projects at once, and you will own how they are run. What you'll do Own delivery of your projects end to end — throughput, quality and timeline Translate complex machine learning requirements into clear annotation workflows, and design the process that produces the data the model actually needs Become the deepest expert at Encord on your project's annotation standards, and the person who resolves ambiguity and edge cases as they surface Maintain quality through process refinement, auditing and structured feedback loops, rather than through inspection at the end Train annotators onto the project and keep them improving — building the material yourself until our Learning & Development Specialist is in place Coach your annotation teams: give them the context behind the task, not only the rules, and develop their skills as the work gets harder Measure annotator performance and make the calls it implies: who continues, who needs retraining, who comes off the project Allocate tasks and manage the queue so that throughput and quality targets are met together rather than traded against each other Instrument the project at launch with the Quality Systems Lead — acceptance criteria, sampling plan, reviewer ratio — so it is measurable before the first batch ships Produce the delivery reporting for customers, and surface risk early enough that something can still be done about it Partner with Product and Engineering on process and tooling improvements, and feed recurring problems back into the playbooks, into training and into the platform Who we're looking for You go deep on the detail. Your instinct is to read the whole specification and annotate fifty items yourself before you assign anyone else Execution-oriented: you are measured by what shipped, not by what was planned, and you would rather fix a workflow than document one Analytically rigorous. You work in numbers — throughput, quality rate, utilisation — and you notice when one is being bought at the expense of another Technically fluent enough to work with ML teams on what they need and why, and to pull your own data rather than wait for it You make people calls on evidence rather than on impression, and you can have the difficult version of that conversation Organised under real load: several projects, several time zones, and requirements that move A clear writer and a strong cross-functional communicator. Most of the workforce delivering your project you will never meet in person Entrepreneurial: when a date is at risk your first move is to re-plan, not to escalate, and you invent the process where none exists Genuinely interested in AI and in what the data you are producing is actually for Experience requirements 3–7 years of professional experience, ideally combining operational delivery with analytical work — AI data or annotation operations, strategy consulting, or data and operations roles at leading technology companies Demonstrated end-to-end ownership of complex, multi-stakeholder workflows, with responsibility for the outcome rather than the coordination Working proficiency in Python or SQL Direct experience managing, coaching or performance-managing a distributed workforce Track record of holding quality and throughput at the same time, with the numbers to show it Experience translating a detailed technical specification into instructions other people can follow Bonus: direct experience of annotation, evaluation or model-training workflows Why Encord Competitive salary, commission, and equity in a high-growth startup Strong in-person culture — most of the team works from our London office 4+ days/week 25 days annual leave + UK public holidays Annual learning & development budget Daily lunches and dinners Travel for customer visits, events, and conferences across the UK and Europe Company lunches twice a week Monthly socials & bi-annual team offsites Find more English Speaking Jobs in United Kingdom on Arbeitnow
